Late in a fall afternoon...
A crisp gentle breeze makes its way through the trees just outside the gates of the Hidden Leaf. The leaves wave as if they were greeting and saying farewell all those who traveled in and out of the large inviting gates. Two female figures of different statures casually make their way towards the entrance of the gate. One is dressed in the Mizukage's robes though the hat hangs down from her neck onto her back.

"Emiko I do not understand why you force me to do such missions," states the smaller of the two females. She picks her pace with slight haste to bring some sort of distance between her and her sister. The Mizukage just laughed as she rested her arms behind her head and slowed down her own pace to enjoy the peaceful breeze that she could only find in Konoha; maybe even to annoy her sister. In a relaxed sisterly tone she responded, "Kaoru you asked me for a mission. Everyone else, including members of your team, were busy. Besides the only mission that needed to be carried out was being an escort for the Mizukage," before finishing her statement she picked her pace and grabbed a hold of her sister and gave her a gentle noogie "So enjoy this moment with your sister." The Mizukage released her sister after a few more moments of embarrassment for her. She knew how Kaoru hated for her to treat her as if she was still her little baby sister in the academy with snot dripping from her tiny nostril, but she could not help it. Kaoru was always so serious and only loosened up when bugged by her older sibling.

Upon reaching the gate the two females greeted the guards and informed them that the Hokage had requested a visit with the Mizukage. The Hokage was to meet them just inside the gates and discuss as much as they could outside of the Hokage's office. Just the thought of having to have a long dull boring meeting in another office made Emiko sick to her stomach. "Anything but the office. Anything but the office." she thought over and over as if trying to force her wish to come true. "Hopefully she is not late like you always are sister. How the elders ever picked such a lackluster kunoichi like you is something I will never quite understand." Kaoru shrugged before walking away from her sister once again to avoid any other annoyances while they waited.

The scent of a rose could be found shortly after they had arrived to the front gates. Soon thereafter there was a rush of blue rose petals flowing through the air. It eventually concentrated itself just behind the front gate, revealing a form of someone that had a kage's hat on, but it was quite shocking to see that even tho the Kanji for "Ho" was written on it, it was not in its traditional red.

But alas, the hat's decorations were in a royal blue. But anyone with the ability to see chakra could see that it was just a genjutsu. Those who didn't know of the Hokage is that she was quite short and young to be a Hokage. But her ability to keep good relations between Konoha and other hidden villages made her an excellent candidate to be it. She's about 5 feet tall, her head was lowered with the hat in front of her eyes as the rose petals faded. Her clothes were a variation on the usual kage drape, but she only wore this while at the village. And since she was at home...There was no reason to be overly formal.

She had a blue cape over her apparel and as the final petal dissipated into thin air. She opened her eyes. Contrary to her clothes, her eyes were a vivid shade of violet. Her Hair was past her shoulders, and she gave a kind glance to the Mizukage and her escort. "Welcome to Konoha." She said and walked towards them. "How was your journey out here?" She looked at the escort carefully and noticed they seemed to be related. "I heard that you did not wish to go into the office, so if you don't mind we can all go over for some ramen before discussing business."

╄━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

It was another stagnant day in the quiet Hidden Leaf Village. The village had obtained a point of noticeable peace back during the time of the Hokage Nicolette; which continues even to this day. There were a few bumps in the road to this peace that cost many lives from energetic children to respected, noble elders. A young man, of a well know medical lineage among the Lear and some other villages, casually paced down one of the paved dirt roads inside the village towards with entrance, although he was not headed for any distinct destination. His shaggy mess of muddy brown with slivers of silver hide within it swayed in the afternoon forest breeze that brought him new life each time he breathed it in. His eyes bore a burning crimson hue, yet it held not a fiery hatred, but a sense of harmony and care that ran beyond simple his eyes. On the right sleeve of his grayish white shirt rested a family symbol of a emerald green dragon silhouette with an uchiha symbol within its coils that was designed by his mother and father for their sons to pass on to their children and generations afterwards. This symbol displayed the linking together of his family's two clans at the moment of his parents’ marriage and later on of his birth.

After walking for a few minutes, a grouchy looking hunchbacked old woman crossed his path, but when she saw him a smile lifted the wrinkles around her mouth and face. The young man bowed at his waist enough to show respect to this elderly woman while still keeping eye contact. His eyes shone with a warm greeting. He reached down to take hold of this hunched woman's wrinkled and vein displaying hand into his own firm hand, however he did not squeeze it. Instead he placed her hand on his forehead than gently kissed it before releasing it with a tiny smile on his face. The elderly woman laughed in an adorable old lady way and said, "How you ever came from that knuckleheaded Toshiro or that overly sarcastic Dai I will never understand," she patted his hand lightly, "Daisuke try not to be too much like them. Stay sweet." And with that final statement she went back about her business. The young man, named Daisuke, made sure the lady made it safely around, however his smile had faded away. In the pursuit of peace both his parents had lost their lives for the sake of the village and the family they had there that they loved beyond themselves. Daisuke wandered at a slower pace as nostalgic memories of time with his parents played out around every place he passed. Looking at a crooked tree on an open lot, he could clearly remember hearing his father calling out for him to leave the tree. "Daisuke! We need to go home before your mother kills the both of us!" His father called out in his slightly worried tone. A vision of his father climbing up the tree came to his eyes only to disappear as quickly as it had come.

No time for memories now. He continued to walk about near the village entrance. All around people waved at him and he would slowly wave back to acknowledge them, yet he was still not fully excited to see them. Upon reaching the guard tower of the front gate, he walked up the steps to get a better look of all that was to be seen before the night sky drew in to take it from him. He paced slowly up creaking wood stairs that would need to be replaced soon until he reached the top. The guards looked at him for a moment until one of them confirmed that it was Daisuke's chakra before returning to their posts. Walking over to the side of the tower, he beheld the beauty of the setting sun over his home. Down below he couldn't help but to notice the two female figures with Kage hats on and one that looked like an escort possibly. A story, that his mother told him, about his dad had always flirting and getting harmed by Nicolette until he found his real love in his mother. Despite this though, he knew his mom always said it in such a way that one could clearly tell that she was teasing him for being so bullheaded. For awhile he kept his sights on the three women to see if maybe he could follow them and get some useful information.

The Hokage narrowed her eyes as she noticed a familiar and irritating chakra. She kept her voice calm and went ahead to speak a bit louder, "Seems one of my students has appeared to see what's going on." She turned around to see Daisuke, in his usual apparel. "What would bring you to the front gates...I told you to do more ninjutsu training with my shadow clone. You will never get anywhere if you plan to be running away from training your whole life."

The Hokage had previously left a shadow clone for the sake of her pupils to be able to train while she was away to discuss business. But as well as she knew Daisuke, he never seemed to want to listen or really train.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Okay. I need to head out to meet with a visitor to the village. So I want you guys to train with my clones while I am out. No funny business, no killing my clones...And..." She turned her head to Daisuke, "No running off from the grounds to be spying."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Hokage tapped her foot and crossed her arms to look at him with a more intense glare. While she waited for his excuse as to why he was away from his training. She hoped half of the village had fallen down on itself or that he had a severe testicle injury from her clone.

"What an entrance," thought Emiko and Kaoru as they watched in surprise as Hokage appeared blue petals, on the other hand she was know as The Blue Rose of Konoha so it was not all that shocking. She nodded eleqantly in response to the Hokage and stated "Thank you for the invite. The journey was surprisingly quiet, but then again the roads between our two villages have been without trouble. Are holding this meeting within your office?" In waiting for a response she noticed that her sister was scanning the area constantly, but in particular at the guard tower. Emiko just ignored her behavior and breathed a collective sigh of relief at not having to be within the confines of an office. It truly wasn't that she hated them, but not being able to be in fresh air or within her garden did not bode well with her. "Ramen sounds like an excellent choice," she smiled warmly at not only the thought of being outside, but getting to finally eat. Her and Kaoru decided at their last stop to wait until they reached the Leaf Village to eat anything. Besides they were here to speak of an alliance and Emiko was taught that if you wished to speak of peace than the best way to start out was in trust.

Before taking a step, however her motions stopped when the Hokage mentioned that one of her students had appeared in the area. Looking up she noticed that the Hokage's attention was fixed on a young looking boy in the same place that Kaoru's steady and piercing gaze remained. Without saying a word she touched her sister's shoulder to relax her for a moment. Even if they did not attack, a tense kunoichi did not make for a good fighter if they were attacked. She leaned down a bit more towards her sister and whispered, "Let the Hokage handle her student. There is no need for any tension or violence."

During the time that her sister was talking, Kaoru began to survey the surrounding area to understand her new environment. Never before had she been to the leaf village, so in a way this was exciting and unsettling. For a brief moment she thought she had spotted someone watching them out of the corner of her left eye. Looking back she noticed a teenage looking boy gazing out at the sunset, but than at them with a focused sharp eye. Ignoring everything being said by her sister and the Hokage, she kept her eyes on that boy to make sure he was not up to anything funny. After while she did pick up that he was a student of the Hokage who was simply shrugging off his duties. Listening to her sister's instructions she remained silent, but kept her eyes trained on his actions until she knew for certain nothing was going to happen to her sister.

Daisuke focused his attention on the Hokage as she began to talk to him about his training. Clearing his throat he mustered up the best tone of voice that he could due to the visitors, "With all due respect Lady Akari your clone was not trying to teach me. She said that I was as simple as my father when it came to performing Ninjutsu so why bother teaching me," he leaned forward a bit and put on a face that was all too familiar to those that knew his father and mother, "And honestly ma'lady with how young and beautiful you are, there is no way your clone should have know how my dad performed any real ninjutsu. That is unless ma'lady has been lying about her age." He turned to the Mizukage and bowed to her since she was not causing him any problems, however her escort was starting to bug him with all the staring even still he returned his gaze to the Hokage. "Besides I am not running from anything. Training is training even if it's not with your clone. I wish to learn on my own as my father did. I'm not taking the abuse from a clone. Good evening," he turned back to the Mizukage and her escort "Lady Mizukage," then looked at the Hokage with a grimace, "Lady Hokage," he said the last title as if it was something disgusting leaving his mouth and he could not bare the taste.

With that he moved over to the other side of the tower to ignore them all collectively. In a way he had lost respect for the Hokages due to his parents being sent out into a battle that everyone knew was suicidal by the one just before Akari. He sat down on the cold floor of the tower and thought about the symbol he bore on his arm. "Strength, pride, and the will of the dragon," He thought to himself having gone back into his mute behavior. Might as well knowing that the Hokage was going to chew him out at some point.

"Well, at least he did not lash out..." A small voice within Akari's head was trying to speak to her. But she decided to clear out her ear and sigh. "Maybe you were a bit rough... I was always too rough on his dad" The voice had broken through and spoke to Akari's mind. Akari held her ears and shook her head for a moment before returning to the Mizukage and her escort. "I have a better place for us to conduct business." The voice once again returned to her mind and spoke once move, "Tell him he can join you three with ramen. Please don't be so rough on him..." Akari scratched the back of her head slighly. "We can go to the rose garden my family's home has for you to talk." Once more the voice stuck within her mind and shouted in her mind that a spiritually sensitive person could hear. "DO IT!" Akari was at this point frustrated and shouted herself, "FINE! AHH!" She looked slighly strange at this point and her face flustered. Although she was usually a calm person, at times this whole different side of her would come out. Or as it seemed to be part of her, but the way she talked, acted, and sometimes even smelled changed. There was many that wondered if she was possessed. And this was one of those moments. "Daisuke, if you wish to eat ramen with us...You can come along. It'll be on me." As she went from one point of the sentence to the other, her voice returned to its calm subtle state of speaking.

The youngest one of the guards kept his eyes trained on Daisuke for a moment as he began judging and preparing a criticism for the disrespectful way that he had responded to the very leader of their village. As he took a firm step forward, the sounds from the creaking floor boards made Daisuke look up slightly to take in the sight of feet coming his way, although he did not move beyond until he was sure that this guy was wishing him ill will. Before the young special jounin guard could let a single word escape his lips, the older one, who appeared to have a large scar over his face, grabbed a hold of the young guard's arm and stated in a low tone, "Leave the boy alone. Get back to your post now." He released him as the other guard returned confused to his post. How could he just let that little squirt say things like that about our Hokage? The younger guard thought to himself. The scarred older guard made his way over to Daisuke's shoulder and patted it with a firm fatherly hand. "I understand how you feel. Your parents did what they could to protect us all. It was their duty and yes it might have been the previous Hokage's choice, but you should not disrespect the current one. She has done nothing to you besides try to train you. Get your head out of the clouds Kazuto and apologize," he stated in a kindly tone trying to do his best to calm Daisuke down by using his nickname. For a moment all he wanted to do was jerk away from this guard and shun everyone in this tower and down below. Why should he apologize to the Hokage? She would just made fun of him just like the previous had done to his father all through his life.

He rested back against the wall with tightly crossed defiant arms and one foot propped up against the wall. Daisuke was only going to be willing to apologize if the Hokage herself was willing to and even then she would get payed back for her comments later. The guard just sighed as he released the stubborn young man and returned to his post. Reaching back, he opened his weapons pouch to pull out a tiny orange lolli that he had been saving and popped it into his mouth. While rolling it around in his mouth he almost thought he had heard the calming voice of Akari inviting to eat with her and the Mizukage. For a brief moment he just laughed assuming she was only joking with him to further pester him, however he realized that this was the first time she had actually invited him anywhere. This could not be a joke, especially with the Mizukage going along with her. He pushed himself off the wall and made his way down the still creaking stairs of the guard tower down to the ground where he could walk over to the three women. Still unsure of her intentions, he remained silent and rolled the lolli around in his mouth with a skeptical facial expression aimed at Akari.

Akari could get the vibe coming from Daisuke that he was wondering as to why she had invited him to ramen. So she decided to explain herself, "Daisuke. I'm a bit older than you...Not that much...But I remember a time when I was an academy student and I got hurt training....If you wish, you can watch what I'm about to show you." Akari did a few handsigns and rose petals started to swirl in front of her, almost forming a mirror. "This will be the last time I had gone to the hospital. I met your parents then."

~~~~~~~~~~~
A younger Akari with very different clothing, a simple T-shirt, shorts, and a band with a flower symbol on her forehead. Where one day she would one day proudly wear her Konoha headband. She had arrived to the hospital there due to her sensei accidentally harming her with some cuts deep enough that you think they'd need stiches..But it ended up not being necessary. Dai had come to the small room she was in, wearing her labcoat. She tilted her shades at Akari's wound and whistled. "Nice one Mai.", she commented at Akari's sensei. Dai sighed and disinfected the area and did her healing hands jutsu to quickly take care of the problem. "I hope you are not like my husband...He ended up becoming a medical nin so I wouldn't be healing him all of the time." Dai popped out a lolipop and handled it to Akari. She didn't take it right away due to the sheer awe she was experiencing. She felt like she was just healed by magic or something godly. "how did you do that?" akari said once she lifted her head and took the lollipop. Toshiro had poked his head into the room. "Oh you took care of Kana already." He had a small boy with him, which would later be known to akari as his son, Daisuke. "I want a lollipop too mommy!" the boy said. "what is the magic word?" Dai asked with a bit of a grin. "please?" the boy replied. With that Dai gave him a lollipop and sent him and Toshiro on their way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"your parents....had so much kindness and love. Above all they were great shinobi. Its why they were declared sannin. I may be rough with you sometimes...but I know you have what it takes to surpass them...so take my word on the ramen. Come with us?"

Daisuke let his distrusting expression slip away behind a dull expressionless face as he turned to look at the swirl of petals. A tiny lump filled up this throat as a vision of his mother, back during some of her glory days, came into view behind the still swirling petals. It had been awhile since he had looked at more than just a simple picture of his mother. Sure he had several videos filmed by his father lying around their old room, but he hardly watched them because of how much it hurt to realize that they were gone forever. Further watching nearly brought him to tears as he remembered this very day; it was the day that his mother announced that she was pregnant with his little brother. He laughed slight as he remembers that was also the day his had ten lollipops shoved in his mouth to silence his constant joyous words.

After the show was over he wiped away the tears that had been welling up in his eyes and nodded respectfully to the Hokage. However, when he was going to respond with a gracious yes to her offer a large hawk swooped in from the direction of the academy with a message nestled within its beak. It landed gracefully onto Daisuke's shoulder and shoved the message roughly against his cheek so he would take it and offer him a snack. Daisuke dug within his pants pocket and pulled out a tiny piece of cracker that he had and held it up to the hawk as he held two fingers open to receive the message from it. The hawk placed the tiny roll of paper inbetween his opened fingers before snapping up the cracker bit and flying off. He unrolled the paper and quickly read the message. It appeared that Akari's clone was requesting that he go and instruct his new teammate in a few drills before giving him his headband. "I apologize lady kages and escort, but I must take my leave to assist my new teammate," He said regally before slightly bowing. Before leaving he looked to Akari and gave her a confirming smile of thanks.

Akari tilted her Kage hat upward and looked towards the exiting eagle. "Seems they called him to the academy. Sadly due to a shortage of sensei's I've been having him help out." Akari decided to walk towards the ramen shop. "Shall we? I can always order him a bowl to pick up later. I know his favorite." Akari lead the way to Emiki and Kaoru to the ramen shop. Where they would await good food and fun small talk before heading to the kage's garden at the mansion to discuss what was needed of them at the village for today's business. The petals from the mirror faded into thin air as she walked away.

▂▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ I swear on my name as Mizukage

Emiko and Kaoru just watched in slight awe as this whole ordeal with the Hokage and their student played out in front of them. This little display was more than Emiko was expecting for her first official visit to the Leaf village, on the other hand she had to admit that she was enjoying watching the memory of Daisuke's parents displayed before her very eyes. She had heard much about the Medical Sannin couple named Akita, Dai and Toshiro. This famous couple had once come to Kirigakure for a family vacation, but they ended up spending a brief amount of time healing some of the villages genin that had arrived with strange wounds all over their bodies. Come to think of it there was a young child dressed in a dark raven colored kimono with their clans' symbols embroidered on the back in a bright Viridian color. She watched as he walked away from them after a graceful chivalrous bow. Emiko could not help letting a quick smile trace across her lips. "He must be doing them proud." she thought silently while looking down at a stone faced Kaoru. How Emiko wished her little sister would see that their parents would be the same amount of pride for her and that she should lighten up a bit more. Although, this was not the time to handle family affairs, it was one for continued peace and understanding.

Emiko simply just sighed. She simply shrugged it off and followed after the Hokage to the famous ramen shop within their village. Hopefully they would have lots of spicy sushi for her to eat. Her husband had been keeping her from consuming such foods during her pregnancy and even during the time that she was breastfeeding her young son. At last she was not having to have her child suckling from her and preventing her from consuming the foods that she loved most of all. The thought of all the delicious things she would be able to eat again caused a light driplet of drool to slide out the tiny open corner in her mouth. Kaoru passed her a tissue from her pocket to wipe off her sister's excretion. Once there they arrived to the shop, both Emiko and Kaoru rested themselves on some nearby stools. Kaoru still remained silent. It appeared she was deep in thought about something, but what was a mystery to her sister.
