This doesn't really fit in ANY one of the sub-categories, so this works fine I think. The Overseer can move things should he choose anyway.
So, what Fallout game introduced you to the series in the first place?
Myself it was Fallout Tactics, although it did not mesh well with the original games stories, parts of it were made canon by Bethesda, even though some hard core fans did not agree with this move.

Honestly I started with three I wish i could say it was the original....
I fell in love when my first shot in vats against a guard took off his head.
I understand that many didn't like how bethesda changed the core gaming experience of i. I have to say I am against them being a little biased of course I figure it is like the doctor the one you see first is your fav. I have gine back and played the pre Bethesda games and didn't really care for them idk why just couldn't get into them. I liked them just fine but havn't played them since...

I enjoyed the tactical nature of Tactics myself, being able to go around with a squad and take down foes as a team was fun.
I did enjoy Fallout 3, by all means I did, they did a good job with the game even if I did not agree with all the changes myself. Concidering I still play both 3 and NV a fair bit, its hard to claim I dislike them rofl .
Of the 2 new games, I have more attachment to NV because of the wider arragement of weapons and armor. I felt leveling in 3 was a bit too fast, so I kinda wish they had toned that down closer to what it was in the originals as well.
BTW, I would avoid the Brotherhood of Steel game, it was... lacking in soooo many ways.

The first game i played was Fallout 3. I had just gotten an Xbox360 about a year ago and my older brother had suggested it to me. once i got out of that vault, i was hooked. The Shishkebab has to be my favorite weapon in the whole series.
I've gone back and played the original Fallout. Such a radically different game-play style, but still a very good game.

I honestly hope there is someone old enough to have played one of the earlier games.... sweatdrop
When the Fallout games first came out, that style was pretty advanced at the time.

Fallout 3 was my first in the series. I think it was my love for Bethesda in the first place that started me, but once I started the story line and beauty got me hooked. I just sometimes wish I had played the prior games first, but I doubt I'd love the newer ones as much had I played them.
