Targets may or may not remember being used like a puppet. Upon using it she can only control one mind for only 1 hour sometimes 2. She only uses it when she really needs to.

The act of shapeshifting can be sometimes painful, and requires at least a few seconds to complete. She can hold the change for a time frame of a week afterward she must wait a week before doing so again. ╫Background Information╫
Sophiera was born in a century where women did as they were told and had no real value except for cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the children. Her mother was a duchess and their for did not do as normal women did no her and her mother were spoiled and pampered and has all the nice things that their servants didn't. Growing up was hard for Sophiera because her mother wasn't always around and her father was the king then but that didn't matter since she was a girl and not a boy so she wouldn't become queen or anything like that unless she married the prince but the thing was the king only had a few daughters but no sons and she was not of marrying age. Instead of always learning and being taught Sophiera found amusement in the dark arts and witchcraft, no one knew and therefore no one could tell her that she couldn't do it.
Sophiera lived her life in her home being spoiled and pampered by the nannies and cooks and spent less and less time with her mother because she was getting sick. From what no one knew because common medicine practices didn't exist then and something could die from the flue not to mention they didn't take baths much and has a lice problem. But what made Sophiera different she loved to bath and in fact spend an hour or two in the tub listening to her nanny telling her stories of far away kingdoms. Around the age of twelve her mother finally died of what people thought was the chicken pox because the outbreak was getting devastating. And Sophiera was sent to France to live with a distant cousin until the epidemic in England passed and she was able to go home.
After years of being forgotten she realized she was to never return home, by then though she was eighteen. By that age she was considered able to marry and was engaged to a non to gentle duke. Their wedding day was to be held the following night on Christmas and Eve and on their wedding night Sophiera was beaten by her husband because she refuses to stand down and allow him to treat her unjust. Being a witch of sorts she had put a curse on the duke and he died a year later of a flesh eating disease. By then though she lived in the duke's home alone with the servants and such until one day a man showed up asking for her hand in marriage. Some that it was a joke because he was handsome yes but pale and never went out in the day-time and his lips were always red like he had just got done from drinking warm blood.
Sophiera accepted his marriage proposal and the following year on Halloween they were married and also that night her mortal life ceased to exist and she was thrown into the night life as a vampire. Her and her mate lived together for a few centuries or so until the vampire and witch hunts had started and he had risked his own life to save her's. She was devastated at first but learned to move on, and took over his mansion and turned it into a academy for people like her who weren't normal but special and every year helped them find the dreams they truly want to discover.
