Alrighty chums. Let's get this part started.
Dice-rolling is probably the quintessential part of DnD. It determines several stats for your characters. It decides whether or not you hit, or get yourself hit. And, Hell, it even decides if you wind up getting lucky in character! That being said, it's absolutely imperative for us to keep track of your dice rolls to prevent cheating. Of course, there are ways to cheat on your rolls anyway, I ask that you don't because we are relying on an honor system. Be just. And we'll get along just fine.
The way the threads will work here is you will roll your die (you may roll more than one, depending on the action as will be explained elsewhere) and as the beef of the post, you'll explain what you're rolling for, and add any modifiers that apply to your roll. See below for an example....

Dice Rolling Example.
(first of all, holy crepes. Nat 20. I WIN.)
Roll: 1 D20 Purpose: To hit ??? (enemy) with fist.
Final Number: 20 (crit) + BAB = 20+BAB

I just had to do this. Sorry chums. SECOND EXAMPLE.
Roll: 1 D20 Purpose: To confirm critical; hitting ??? (enemy) with FIST OF FURY.
Final Number: 5+BAB= (Fail. You suck.)
(At this point, you will write out in the RP section a sequence to hit. Include the number of your original attack (if you got a crit and the critical fails, use your original roll for your attack). Then the DM will roleplay for the enemy, describing whether or not the attack has hit according to the stats of the generated enemy or, really, anything else..)
