This. http://crossedgenres.com/titles/fat-girl-in-a-strange-land/ This this this this this this!
It's a short story collection from Crossed Genres publishing, all with fat heroines in another world or an unfamiliar part of this one. There are fat heroines who love their bodies and fat heroines who hate them, outgoing fat heroines, shy fat heroines, scientists super-heroines and sorcerers, etc. None of them are just a stereotype.
I can also attest that most of the stories are engaging and well-written. The Right Stuffed is a high-concept digital world story which might be more appealing to the feedery crowd, and Nemesis should be required reading for every bigwig and Marvel or DC comics who complains about women's bodies being "not industry standard."
Anyone interested? =o Have you read this and want to discuss?

lol it sounds cool, I'll try checking it out some time. But I do believe some authors have tried to "normalize" people rather than making them sound superficial or like super models.

Please do. Also "Davy" is a really awesome story about post-partum depression and the things lurking in a painting of trees that aren't really trees.
