Flint smiled. "Sorry Ms. Nightly. I'm here."
Fen turned to Ms. Nightly, but he kept an eye on Echo. Suddenly a phone rang. Flint started slightly. He looked at his phone. "I'm sorry Ms. Nightly. I need to take this." Flint stepped out of the class.
"Hey, Flint?" Shaun was on the other end. "I need you to go pick up some asprin. we're out." He made an awful noise on the other end. Flint grimaced a little. "Sure thing bud. I'll be right there."
Flint jumped back into the room. "Ms. Nightly, I have to go. I need to go get some medicine for my friend. Fen and I will have to miss today."
Fen got up from the desk he was laying on and walked over to Flint. "I'll see you next time." Flint grabbed Fen and put him in his back pack, his head sticking out, and ran out the door. as he ran past Naomi, Flint spoke. "Good to see you again. We'll catch up later."

Youkai Saint Ms. Nightly checked off Loic's name. Her eyes looked over the edge of the clipboard as she watched the students. She clicked her pen closed and placed it in the clip of her clipboard. "I believe I told you all that there will be no talking unless told to do so. Right?" She told them with a fierce glare. "Now, Naomi Murasa-" She said, as she was cut off. "I'm here!" She called, running through the classroom door and tripping over the door frame as she did so. When she landed, she heaved a groan and a pipe bomb slid out from behind her shield. "O-oh, I'll get that." She said, placing it behind the shield once more and standing up. She then found a seat in the front row, tripped over a few chairs, and seated herself down. Ms.Nightly didn't care to know what took her so long, just as long as she was there. With a check of Naomi's name, she then called out, "Flint Lockwood?" to her students.

Loic focused his light hawk-like eyes on the offender. Flint's dog started barking appropriately, almost channeling Loic's angry intent in a manner Loic would never do. Such scum was unworthy of attention, and tere really was no need to protect his honor for this kid. Loic made a note to trip the offender up at some later point in time.
"Exactly, i'm glad you see eye to eye with me." Loic ended, pretending to have missed the kid's dripping sarcasm."Lord, are dogs even allowed on campus..." Loic muttered, the dog's barking now annoying him.
As if on cue, a newcomer literally zoomed in, tripping and skidding on the floor in front of him. Loic fought to close his now hanging mouth as he bent down to pick up whatever article the child dropped. She beat him to it, though, and he felt slightly crushed as one does when their attempts to help are futile. The girl apologized and, after stumbling over a few chairs, on of which banged against Loic's chair, she slid into one next to him.
Loic gave Naomi a once over in quiet astonishment. This he had never seen before. If he even breathed in a clumsy manner, Medina his grandmother would've whacked him. He was shocked that no one cared; it was one of many culture shocks that would rack his being. He rubbed his temples. commoners intrigued him but if this was how it was going to be everyday...
