Jutsu/Techniques
Imitation Technique: ninjutsu:
The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface (even water) and as far as they want as long as there is a sufficient area. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires that (of course, to prevent hurting themselves, the user just has to have the shuriken holster in a place where you don't normally have it, like the back, so that the opponent draws nothing when the user draws a shuriken). If the target is out of range, the user can produce a better light source to increase their shadow's size or rely on pre-existing shadows for their shadow to freely travel through. It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction.
The major downside of the Shadow Imitation is that it is tiring to use repeatedly; If the user is low on chakra, the performance rate of the technique also deteriorates. Insufficient lighting will make the technique less effective. A particularly strong opponent can also resist the shadow's forced imitation.
Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique: ninjutsu

Shadow Neck Bind Technique: ninjutsu
After capturing an opponent with the Shadow Imitation Technique, the user can then further extend their shadow up to the target's throat in the shape of a hand, which chokes them to death. Also, if the Shadow Imitation Technique isn't making the opponent copy their movements, this can be used to bind opponent's body in order to restrain them. The closer the user is to their opponent, the tighter the strangle will become. This technique cannot be used for an extended period of time and weakens with each passing minute. Light is a direct factor in this jutsu. It seems to make the strength of the bind stronger, though has no known effect on the duration of the bind.
Personality:
Aku is lazy. Though that is to be expected since he is from the Nara clan. He is quite intelligent but often proves to be stubborn when told to do things. However he can be counted on when ever his teammates or friends are in trouble. That is of course if he can be found when his teammates are in trouble.
Bio:
Akuhana was born a second son of the Nara clan. That meant he would have had great things ahead of him. He is a scion of the Nara clan or would have been if he was born six minutes earlier. A sister beat him to that title. So he always played second banana to her even though he knew he was the better of the two. He held no grudge as he was too young at the time to understand much of the working of the household. To hold true to being the second born he was nicknamed Akuhana. His father disliked this at first but after a while even he began using the name for the young boy. He is however registered with the town populace under his real name of Shikabi Nara. His sister’s name was Shikai Nara.
Growing up he was easily amused by things around him and far too lazy to actually interact with the other children. Even his sister avoided him until he was just a figment of her imagination and she forgot about him. He didn’t mind, he would often train in the corner of their family’s housing and advance in jutsus that his sister was still struggling to understand. He was always able to surpass her but being the second born it meant nothing in the eyes of the family. He usually spent most of his time after classes down in the bookstores looking for something to read or sleeping when he had nothing better do to.
When not training he was nose deep in books knowing that knowledge would get you farther than blindly jumping into battle. He excels at go and chess. Though he was the second child he was often referred to in reports his father would send out to the rest of the Nara clan highlighting ways that Aku had improved on jutsus already in use by the clan.
His adolescent years are fairing no better still trapped in the shadow of his sister. He continues on, to be better than her just without doing all the work. Eventually the laziness will catch up with him and he will pay for it in some way or another. And as much as he hates to admit it, he is a very skilled tactician. If only his teammates and friends would listen to him they would live longer. His current fate is yet to be seen if he will be advancing to adulthood and full ninjaship.
