-No Godmodding. We're all respectful here, people.
-No deaths unless it is either important and already laid out in the storyline.
-Relationships and pairings: feel free to do what ever it is you and the other RPers agree on. Gay, Straight, Bi, all are welome and we encourage as many different pairings as we can come up with, as long as the end result is the same as the beginning of the books.
-Swearing is aloud, just try to keep it tasteful.
-Try to keep as accurate as we can to the characters and the world that Rowling gave us. If there's no explanation, try to make it as plausible as possible to the wizarding world.
-Literacy is a big one. No text speak or L33t. Drives me nuts, and I'm sure there's plenty more that would agree. Try to give your responses some meat as well. I understand that there are those times where we have creative frontal lobe flatulence. Try not to make a habit of short posts. (If you have a device with a touch screen you are posting from, make a note of it and any mistakes in spelling or grammar will be regarded as accidental if needed.)
-Have fun and make this enjoyable for everyone. Remember, not everyone can get on as often as some. Try to find a posting order or a way of posting that works so one person isn't left behind and forced to catch up.
-Character limit: 1
EDIT: All members must post at least once a week in the guild to remain members. Any inactivity that has not been posted in the absences thread or alerted to a Prefect will end in removal from the guild and your position will be given to someone else.
POSTING FORMAT
Let's try to keep a uniform style of posting, please. The following is a list of what we would like to see for your posts.
- Character's name in color at top (centered)
- Picture of character to the left of the post (if possible. This one is iffy depending on how unique your character is. If need be, I can try and sketch up a few. Results may vary)
- House banner, or image of house at the bottom (centered. This helps when awarding points)
NOTE: These are subject to change as seen fit by me or the vice captain.
