 A series of canyons and stone bluffs that run behind the training canyons. Be careful, as some of the falls are deep and quite dangerous. Better take a jonin with you.

 "Know that the way of the shinobi..."
Ryumon arrived thinking about things that he shouldn't thinking about the Tensa courtship gatherings...the way the girls would look at him. They called him "The Dark one". He could hear the adults whispering about how they almost felt sorry for him.
Such thoughts put him in a foul mood...he felt hurt, angry, and bitter. All he could do was hiding those feelings behind a blank and impassive face though his eyes told the true account of his heart. So much pain in that small boy began to well up and he began to increase his pace to distance himself from Yuuko.
"Sensei...we'll cover more ground seperately wont we?" he asked eager to put distance between them before she noticed his rapidly eroding emotional state.
Or worse...tried to console him...
He may have only been twelve but he was a young man in the spring time of youth and he had his pride to think about...
"...is terribly harsh."

 "It will be much safer if I go with you, Ryumon. These bluffs are dangerous, and it is my oath as a jonin to keep you safe." Yuuko slipped off her heels, and stared up into the distant canyons that surrounded the field. "This ferret is sure to hide someplace that is cool, and full of bugs-no matter what her mistress says, it is in the creature's nature to return to its former feast of insects." With a grin, Yuuko patted Ryumon's head softly, and sighed. "Don't forget, I was your age once too. And I was freakishly tall to be twelve years old. Ready to start the climb upwards?"

"It's hard to believe that someone as pretty as you had a hard time of it..."he said but soon realized what came out of his mouth and feeling a distinct warmth in his cheeks tried to make the statement seem less...awkward "B-but kids are cruel at that age I s-suppose..." he stammered awkwardly.
He didn't want to admit it to himself, but Yuuko had a way of making him feel just a little bit better about a situation...she really did remind him of mother...
"I-In any case I'm ready to climb up sensei..." he said before raising his hand up. A chain seemed to shoot from his sleeve and imbeed it self in the rock face and he used his kekkei genkai to allow the chain to hoist him self up the first dew feet rather quickly...as if he was propelled by the energy of his own youth...
In actuality he figured if he stayed ahead of Yuuko she wouldn't be able to tell he was blushing...

Yuuko's smile was infectious, and a tinge of pink flushed her pale cheeks. "Children are cruel. But I am glad that you understand." She watched as Ryumon hoisted himself up the rock face, and then onto the top of the bluffs, one hand above hers. A trademark grin formed on Yuuko's face, and she swung herself onto the rock, much like a monkey. It was as if she was made for this sort of thing. "Ah, I'll catch up in a minute. You're youthful for this sort of thing. Tell me what you see, Ryumon."

He looked around seeing little more than dirt, dust, and some very large rocks. "Aside from the reason our village is 'hidden in stone' I don't see much up here...and sensei don't talk like you're so old...you barely look half way into your twenties...though considering Tsuchikage-sama's appearance I suppose I shouldn't presume too much..." he said imagining how old Yuuko could really be...
If the Tsuchikage was 19 and looked so much younger...Yuuko-sensei might even be close to my mother's age... he thought to himself.

"Hah, I'm nearing thirty, young one!" Yuuko's laughter pealed on the rocks, before she silenced herself. "Nothing that seems...out of the ordinary? No footprints, nothing disturbed among the rocks? Look for little clues up here...or we shall have to climb higher."

" So you aren't even out of your twenties yet..." he said under his breath while cocking one eyebrow.
Ryumon sighed and thought that this could take forever...that there was no way they'd find anything...that a rodent was sitting between some rocks right in front of him...
"Sensei...I think I found it..." he said dryly reaching out slowly to pet the object of their search.
"...is terribly harsh."

There was a hiss from the rocks, and Yuuko's eyes widened, before snatching Ryumon's hands back. "Careful!" The creature shot from the crevasse, and she sighed with relief, before looking at the boy in her arms. "You should be more careful, my student. Sometimes things are not as they appear. But now that we have located the creature, catching it will be much easier. Much, much easier." Setting Ryumon on his feet, Yuuko produced a small toy from the bust of her dress, the belled creature on the end wiggling eagerly as she shook it. "Keep your eyes open, Ryumon. The ferret will come to us, now that we have something it recognizes."

"Y-yes M-er...Yuuko Sensei..." He said standing to the side as she set him down...
He tried his best to hide the darkening of his caramel cheeks, but it was quite obvious the boy was more than a little flustered. He heeded her words none the less and waited. He felt he had a good Idea about her line of thinking: Show it something familiar and let it make the choice to come to you so you didn't scare off your target...because if it went to ground they would be hard pressed to find it again.

Feels like there is a never ending war inside me head
Some are good, others are evil
☠ Itami Izogawa ☠  Itami grabbed the tip of her mask and pulled it up; higher on her nose. She narrowed her eyes and looked from left to right scanning the area. She was told that her group was residing there and she didn't see them anywhere. There was also the fact that her group was currently on a mission. Itami closed her red orbs and thought about the descriptions of the people she was looking for. One was a female Jounin with slick black hair, long dress and golden eyes. Then a male Genin with black hair, tan skin and blue clothes on. Itami opened up her eyes again. She looked upwards at the hill. Chances are that they were up there. The thing was, Itami was too lazy to even attempt the climb.
Itami crossed her hands over her chest and signed inwardly. She shifted her eyes to the never ending display of rocks. This would be a good time to practice her taijutsu. But at the same time, she didn't want to destroy rocks in fear that something might happen. However she did sit on the ground and started meditating. She sucked in a deep breath, though it was hard with the mask on, and breath out. Itami did this until her breathing was at a nice controlled state. From there she started to gather up chakra in random places. Like on her bosom, sticking herself to the floor. Then on her clasped hands, stuck them together. This went on for a bout a good minute or so. This mental war is killing me slowly
I want it to end tonight
Day after day my head is pounding
I no longer care who wins
