There! The horrible b*****d was ignoring him now, too! What gives! Ariel hadn’t even done anything bad this time! The tealette jogged after the retreating form of familiar pink hair, pulling the messenger bag from around his shoulders, and once close enough to the p***k with the attitude Asariel chucked the bag full of mail and packages right at Douchebag Caddarick’s head. ”Deliver your own god damned mail you ********! I was being serious! Why do you have to be such a ******** jerk all the time!? I hope you get tetanus and die!” Asariel crossed his arms tight across his chest and huffed angrily for a few seconds in an attempt to calm himself down enough so that he didn’t wish death upon his lover all over again. Well, he still hoped there’d been something heavy and sharp in that bag. Maybe all Ricky needed was a big old gaping and bleeding wound in his head to realize that Ariel loved him to death. You know, before he died. ”New Years Eve is once a year and you can’t even try to be nice to me when all I want to do is... is... Uuwaaah!! I hate you so much sometimes! Go die you heartless b*****d!” Ariel turned around quickly and took a few steps in his attempt to storm off, but that wasn’t going to work because now he felt kind of bad. Sure, Ricky was a stupid, but he didn’t deserve to die. Most of the time anyways. And if he did die, Ariel would feel horrible. So he turned back around and took the few steps back to where he had originally been standing. ”Okay. I don’t think you should die. But I meant everything else.”

Ah.. he felt really, really bad for doing that to Ricky after he was so happy to see him. Lennox could only hope that he didn't get hurt too badly from being pushed into such pointy bushes and that an explanation later would suffice. He really didn't like making him angry, especially upon just arriving home. The twin bit his lip for a moment, continuing on his way down the path. Impersonating his brother came naturally, as he had done it many a time when they were younger. Len may have been the more friendly, approachable one, but that didn't mean he didn't like to mess around sometimes. If you have a twin, why not use it to your advantage sometimes? He could remember switching with Ricky when they both had the same test during a different period. Len had studied and also had the earlier exam, so they simply dressed the same. The current situation, however.. well, it wasn't exactly done with the other pink-haired male's approval. It would benefit him in the end, though! Of course it would, he couldn't just completely screw him over like that. All in due time. Len heard steps approach from behind and kept calm, deciding to worry about Ricky once Asariel left or figured him out. Just as he was about to look over, the impact of what seemed to be a heavy mailbag slammed into his head. The pinkette paused, not entirely amused. Well then, this was already completely different, perhaps the real Caddarick had a reason to be annoyed with him. Then again, maybe he did something to deserve such hostile treatment. Both were fair assumptions. Nonetheless, Len paused instantly, hearing the bag crash to the ground. Ugh.. that was Ricky's work right there. He had to pick it up and stay where he was despite having his death wished upon him. Silently rubbing his now aching head, he knelt down to push everything back into the bag, managing to give a glare to his assailant along the way. Hopefully there was nothing fragile in there. He'd feel even worse. Slinging the bag over his shoulder, Len rose to witness a very upset Asariel who started up once again. Ah.. so that's what it was all about. It was tempting to ask 'is what?'. Too bad it would blow his cover completely. He was beginning to feel sorry for him, but decided he'd hold strong onto the facade so that shoving Ricky into bushes wouldn't be in vain. The actual Lennox would certainly invite him over for dinner, as their mother certainly enjoyed his company, but in its place he stood there for a moment as Asariel turned around after speaking his mind instead of actually leaving. The younger twin quickly put a free hand to cover his mouth, knowing a smile was forcing its way through. After all of that, the teal-haired male couldn't even hold his ground and stay angry at Ricky? That was almost too funny. Promptly turning away, Len walked while keeping his head slightly turned away from the side with Ariel. This was harder than he thought it would be!#AFB507

What. Why did this just seem wrong all of a sudden. Why wasn’t Ricky yelling at him or something? Asariel blinked a couple of times, waiting for the shouts to come but they never did. Instead, it looked as though the pink haired menace in front of him was enjoying himself, of all things! Caddarick turned away finally and started walking again, messenger bag in tow after he’d picked up all of the contents. No no, this didn’t seem right at all, and the confusion was plain on the tealettes face as he stalked after the retreating form. Ariel narrowed his eyes; there was something wrong, and he should... be able... to figure... it out if he just paid more attention. Turquoise eyes scanned the form ahead of him, and as much as it looked like his Ricky... it... wasn’t? Now that Ariel was paying attention, those weren’t the same jeans that Caddarick had been wearing earlier, and unless he’d changed randomly for no reason then... Asariel clearned the distance between him and this ‘Ricky’ imposter, and jumped onto the others back, both arms wrapped tight around him. ”I was wondering why you weren’t screaming at me like an a*****e, Lennox! Carina told me you were coming back, but I didn’t know when! I’m so so so sooo sorry I threw that bag at you! I really thought you were Ricky!” Ariel refused to let go of the mute pinkette now that he knew who he was, or wasn’t. After a moment though, Ariel finally released his captor and took a step back to look over his friend, making sure that everything about Len was the same as when the mute had left. He seemed a little skinnier... Carina wouldn’t like that at all. ”When did you get back? Does Carina know you’re here? If it wasn’t for your mom I wouldn’t know anything because Ricky keeps it all a secret! Oh, have you seen him? I need to kill him.” Because he hadn’t succeeded in harassing Caddarick moments ago, so he was still royally pissed at him. But not Lennox. Lennox just made everything better!

Goddess ******** dammit. It took a bloody damn lot to get Ricky pissed off at Len, but his darling twin managed it today. The two hadn’t seen each other in ******** ages, and this was the greeting he recieved? <********> If that was the case, he should have dealt with Asariel’s pestering and turned the other way! The fact he even considered such a horrendous thing was saying something! But who wouldn’t want to deal with an aggravating little s**t over being stabbed in a bazillion places by tiny needles?! And he was bleeding from his head, to top it all off! Goddess! Why did he have to run into Len now?! Why couldn’t he have seen his mirror sooner or later anyways, and in a place where there weren’t dead ******** plants to be pushed into?! Letting out a string of most colourful vocabulary, Ricky struggled to get himself untangled of the branches, gritting his teeth as the damn needles poked him endlessly –what, was he a ******** pin cushion now?! His continuously rising aggravation and anger levels were rising by the second as he straightened himself, only to see he had to plunge his hand back into the push to grab his bloody hat. It wasn’t surprising when he stormed off the way he originally came from, eyes narrowing in utter disgust as they fell upon the familiar figures of his twin and Ariel. Every quick step closer to the duo made him more and more annoyed and tempted to hit something –which he almost did when he stood only a foot away from Len and held his closed fist up. He even went so far as to let it begin its path, before he stopped himself in mid-air, feeling a pang of guilt at what he almost did to his beloved brother. That didn’t stop him from letting Lennox well aware of what he thought about being pushed. ”What the actual <********> were you thinking, you a*****e?! Were you trying to ******** kill me?! Well good ******** job! You almost ******** exceeded! Look at this, dammit!” he snapped, tapping his bloodied head lightly. Not a good idea. Biting his fist, he let out a muffled scream while his eyes glazed. ******** hell did that hurt. ”What the ******** did you do to my twin?!” the pinkette demanded once he regained a small bit of the composure lost at the pain, ”Len would never pull a stunt like that! ********>

Len should have known he couldn't impersonate his twin without his threats and angry tone, especially when dealing with Asariel. It should have been a given he was found out as soon as silence came from the usually constant speaker behind him. Not exactly picking up on this, the mute nearly wasn't ready when he felt the sudden weight of another person on his back. Instead of attempting to hide his amusement any longer, Lennox placed his hands on the teal-haired man's arms that were wrapped around him as a sort of hug in return. It was clear enough that his previously angry friend was forgiven for tossing the bag without the younger twin turning around and attempting to communicate it, so he remained still until Ariel decided to let go of him. Just as the other did, Lennox turned to inspect his friend, finding that he only looked a bit older. Perhaps the stress of being around Ricky 24/7 was starting to get to him. Well.. probably not. It had just been such a long time since he had seen either his mother, Ricky, or any inhabitants of the town. Len wasn't even sure if he'd even recognize some people he used to know. Hopefully that wouldn't make for awkward conversation, mainly when he couldn't actually contribute to it in the easiest of ways. He was prepared to answer some of the questions, but felt a surge of guilt in his stomach at the mention of the whereabouts of Ricky. He knew why he pushed him, right? Len decided not to answer the last one. 'I got back last night, and no, she doesn't. I was planning to visit her tonight for dinner. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you coming along if you were going to spend it alone. Did you have anything planned?' he used sign language with ease once again, hoping that Asariel still understood it as well as when he had caught on in their younger days. Writing was nice, but took longer than desired.

Then he heard the steps of his brother marching towards them, and realized the push might have been a bit worse than he believed it to be. Why was it that in books falling into bushes was more of a cushion, and he had the terrible luck to land Ricky into something that made him bleed from every which way? Len turned, face clearly troubled as he let the bag on his shoulder drop to the ground and walked towards his mirror. For some reason, instead of flinching once he felt a fist coming his way, he reached to gingerly touch the change of color in his brother's hair. Thank the Goddess his assumption was right; something about the situation told Len that the other wouldn't actually hit him. Pulling his hand away to see a decent amount of blood cover his fingers, the younger twin wished he could change what he did in that instant. The mute watched Ricky fume, cursing every which way. He couldn't tell him the plan right there in front of Asariel! So he slipped the notepad out of his pocket along with the pencil during the short silence and wrote quickly, 'I thought that if I got you out of sight and pretended to be you.. I could get Asariel off your back for a while and let you have some free time without him.. I didn't know it'd hurt you that bad, otherwise I never would have come close to doing it.' Of course he was practiced in the skill of getting long explanations down in a speedy manner, but he wished it could have gone faster so Ricky would be less angry at him a bit sooner. Hurt by his brother's last statements, Len held up the paper in a manner that only his intentional target could see. There was no way Asariel could find out what it said. The truth was, the mute also wanted to see what it was like being clung to by him.. but it didn't really go as planned. He sighed, shoving the freshly closed pad back into his pocket after Ricky read it and signing, 'I'll take care of you, I'm sorry. I really am.' If having a voice couldn't show it, his expression did. It was marked with complete concern and guilt, not knowing his act would go so far as to perhaps give his brother a concussion.

When Lennox started signing as a response to Ariel’s many questions, there was a moment when the tealette couldn’t remember the specific letters and words that Len was using, but sign language was like riding a bike, and he got the jist of what the other was saying. Well! At least ne of the Dunstan boys cared enough to actually invite him over on, you know, and important holiday! ******** you Ricky! ”I was trying to plan things, but your brother is a d**k.” no sooner had the words escaped his mouth did that very same Caddarick make an appearance, yelling as usual, but... but not at Asariel. Huh? H u h ? What happened? Ariel looked between both twins for a moment, noting the distressed look Len wore, and the blood that dotted hundreds of places on Ricky. What happened?? Ariel just stood and watched as Lennox touched Caddarick’s head, revealing a blood-stained hand. What was Ricky doing, bleeding all over from his head like that?? ”What happened?” He’s just been kidding when he was thinking about a gaping hole in Ricky’s head! He hadn’t meant a word of it at all!! Oh goddess, was Ricky going to die?? Ariel didn’t notice the note-passing that Lennox was doing, instead opting to hover by Caddarick’s side, wiping off the blood spots that dotted the other man with his thumb. He couldn’t help but be worried about Ricky’s well-being! That’s just what a good boyfriend did, and if Ricky went and really did die, that would just waste the 20 years Ariel had spent trying to woo him! Asariel wanted to touch Caddarick’s head, to make sure that it wasn’t actually a gaping hole there, and just a bump, but he couldn’t manage it, instead just holding a hand awkwardly near the pinkest head, his free hand clinging onto Ricky’s sleeve. ”Does it hurt?” Distress couldn’t begin to describe how he felt. He didn’t even care if Lennox had done this to Ricky, all he wanted was for the mail carrier to be okay :< He wasn't even mad anymore! Couldn't even remember why he had been angry in the first place!

Ricky couldn’t help but noticeably flinch when his brother touched the change of colour in his hair; his hand didn’t touch the wound straight on, but his entire skull was just in pain. Stupid building. Stupid bush. Stupid brother. Stupid everything! ”Lennox here-“ Caddarick started to Ariel’s question, but saw Len writing furiously. His face was twisted in what seemed like a permanent scowl as his eyes scanned the writing quickly; ah. So he was trying to be a nice sibling. But why couldn’t he have just told him about it? It would have been quick enough to sign, and Caddarick wouldn’t have had to suffer the consequences of being pushed into a ******** bush! Lennox was thinking for him, so he thought, so it wasn’t that easy to keep angry. s**t happened, right? Letting out an agitated sigh, he nodded –not the best plan, but he dealt with it. ”It’s… Nothing. I tripped on a rock.” It just wouldn’t be right to b***h and complain about his twin and make him look better –Ricky was better suited to looking like an a** hat for no reason than Lennox was. The pinkette swatted the other’s hand away from his head, as he really didn’t need another shock of pain, and glanced briefly at his twin’s note pad again. All he did was give the slightest of nods; he would be more than positive to use the whole thing to his advantage when he needed a favour. ”In that case, better stock up on those new, expensive heated blankets, and a s**t ton of chocolate for Mom. Goddess knows how much she’ll sob when she sees this mess.”

Lennox had bitten his lip with guilt as Ariel fussed over his twin. Ah, everything just wasn't going according to plan, was it? Terrible idea.. Sometimes the mute just didn't think ahead enough. Obviously someone obsessed with Ricky for years would easily catch someone attempting to impersonate him. He likely would know his reactions, expressions, moods, and even defining birthmarks. Well, perhaps it was more so that the teal-haired man certainly did, not only likely. Len wasn't the complete equal of his brother despite their looks; Asariel chose the other to love for a reason. Occasionally the phrase 'nice guys finish last' came to mind over the situation. Turning his attention, the younger twin was nervous when he heard his name mentioned. He really, really didn't want Ariel to know what happened. It would probably change what he thought of him, which Len would be unhappy about. He didn't know.. it would hurt his brother so much. He would never be that awful. Anxiously awaiting Ricky's response, Len's heart jumped when the words went in a different direction than he had thought they would. He held back a slight smile, incredibly happy for the lie yet still somber for the consequences of his spur of the moment push. The chef went back and scooped up the mail bag, slinging it on his shoulder. Holding it was the very least he could do so far. Hearing the remark of their mother, Len hoped that his arrival mignt lead her to not fret too much over Ricky's wounds, but he doubted it. The younger twin also had a feeling the woman would get the truth unless Asariel was around or after he left. Well, then Len would have to keep him around until his brother was too distracted to remember the story! Another ridiculous plan; however, it involved much less pain. The mute cautiously and gently put his arm around his brothers shoulders, not wanting to communicate anymore but go to their mother's house. He missed her, and it would be a good time to visit. Besides, he needed the proper medicine to take care of Ricky like he said he would. Ah, he woudn't get over how dumb he was for doing something like that. He would've stood between the two and also put an arm around the much shorter Ariel, but knew he'd be too occupied with Ricky to care or stay there separated from him. Leading them in the proper direction, Len did as he usually did and stayed quiet, feeling relieved yet disappointed.

Huh? Lennox what? What did Len do? Ariel glanced towards the mute before returning his eyes to Ricky and – wait, what was that? Ariel looked back towards Lennox but he’d missed out on reading whatever was written on the paper. Ugh, why hadn’t he noticed before!? Where they passing secrets around without letting him in on it?? That was so mean :< ”Tripped on a rock.” Asariel had to repeat Ricky’s statement on what had happened, just to really explain how silly and stupid that sounded. ”You tripped on a rock, and fell into a thorn bush.” Well. It might have been stupid, but it wasn’t like the wounds didn’t match up. Oh well. It wasn’t like this was the first time Ricky lied to him about something. He’d get the truth from Lennox, later. Ariel’s distress had been replaced by slight annoyance; Ricky wasn’t going to die or anything, so he could go back to being angry at the pinkette for being such a jerk. Spending dinner with the Dunstan’s wasn’t a bad idea anyway, they were always fun to be around, especially now that Len was back in town~ it would be a new years to remember, for sure. ”Anyways.” Ariel kept a hand on Ricky’s sleeve as they walked, not intending on losing the mail carrier again. ”Since Len is such a nice guy and invited me to dinner, I’m going to stick around, make sure you don’t die or anything, Ricky. How’s that? We can cuddle on the couch and wait for midnight ~<3 and Len here can tell us all the stories he’s collected from being gone for so long!” Aaah.. actually that didn’t sound half bad at all! And Ariel was pretty curious about all the things that the mute Dunstan had been through since he left. ”Did you find anyone that swept you off your feet, Len?” He glanced around Ricky towards the other twin, curious for that answer. Awwe, wouldn’t it be cute if Len brought home a friend?? It would be adorable!

”Something wrong with that, numb nuts? Everyone has their ******** blonde moments,” Caddarick snapped; he made up the lie, and he was going to stick with it, despite how pathetic and obvious it was. Of course, to make sure his excuse sounded at least semi-believable, he would have to resort to being his normal, a*****e self. Not like that would be difficult; between the throbbing of his head, which caused little stars to dance in front of his eyes, and hearing the yammering of Asariel, he was feeling quite snappish indeed. Hearing about this invitation Len gave out, Ricky sneered; it was obvious the teal haired fellow was going to tag along for the night, if only for the fact Carina adored him to bits and pieces, but hearing that his ever so lovely twin invited the pest over… Great. Did he now?” the mail carrier asked, giving his twin a hard look as he felt Lennox’s arm slide around him –no complaints, there. Having someone to lean on was kind of nice, and his pride didn’t have much to fear, as it was his flesh and blood. ”Oh, how ********. There isn’t a single thing I could think of which would be better than having a leech cling onto me when welcoming the New Year. Why don’t you let Len take my place, considering he’s the one who graciously ******** invited you? He can write or whatever if you make love only to his left arm.” When the annoyance piped again, this time speaking to Len, Ricky stayed silent –he had to admit, while his brother was away, the thought occasionally passed his mind. He hoped so; when he wasn’t pushing people into bushes, his mirror was a good guy, and he deserved someone special.

Len was beginning to realize more than usual how lucky he was to be the twin of Ricky. How kind his older brother was to him.. sometimes the mute felt he didn't deserve it. Due to either his disability or blood relation( or both ), even when the younger Dunstan believed it himself that he should be reprimanded a bit more, it never turned out nearly as bad as he thought it would. Then Lennox would see how Asariel was treated and felt awful for sort of taking all of Ricky's nice feelings, or at least having the tealette watch it happen while being cursed at by someone he really liked regardless of the hate. So his mind was split while in the company of both men, unsure which path to take. Times like that we're best for not having the ability to talk. It allowed him to simply listen as they bickered, replacing talking with thinking instead. Perhaps occasionally it could be a disadvantage to remove himself from a situation like that, but oh well, he'd believe it was something good. The more positives that came with being a mute the better. At the change of tone in Ricky's voice, Len looked over to him with the most innocent smile he could create at the moment. It wasn't his best for two reasons. He had hoped Asariel wouldn't bring it up in a way that credited Len because, as displayed already, the older twin wasn't going to be too happy about it. Secondly, imagining the picture of the two cuddling on a couch while he told them stories.. wasn't the best vision at the moment. Len mentally sighed; he really needed to stop it with Asariel. After all the years.. It was ridiculous. And yet he still couldn't help but think how happy the man would be if he had just gone for someone who appreciated his devotion.

Hearing the conversation take a turn and become directed at him, Len snapped out of his daze and decided that he should participate. A special someone.. No, he supposed there wasnt anyone he'd found like that. Most people couldn't stand having a boyfriend that was unable to speak. It was one of the negatives of being a mute. Relationships never lasted very long because the other side just couldn't handle it. Forming a somber, soft smile, Len looked down a bit and simply shook his head. There wasn't much else he could do when handed a question like that, especially from Asariel. Luckily, they had reached the house; he needed the distraction. Carefully removing his arm from around Ricky's shoulders, he moved to the door to knock on it. He was excited to see his mother, and he was sure it went both ways. However, the feelings were likely to cease as soon as she saw her older son's condition. Letting out a sigh, Len placed his hand on the doorknob and began to turn it. There was no hint of sound on the other side, so perhaps she wasn't home in the first place. He pushed the door open, finding that his assumption was correct. Well, that would give him some time to clean Ricky up. Entering the house he hadn't seen in quite a while, the pinkette went straight to where he remembered the proper supplies to be for helping his brother.

Sometimes, Caddarick’s meanness knew no bounds, which was why Asariel had grown a thick skin over the years. How could he not have? Every second word out of Ricky’s mouth was something mean, and it was usually always directed towards him. It really was bordering on abuse, but if Ariel didn’t love Ricky, then who would? Not that he was only there out of pity! Of course not. The tealette adored the mail carrier, and every word that came out of his mouth and it just wouldn’t be the same if Ricky started cooing sweet nothings. Still, as seen earlier, that adoration didn’t stop Ariel from getting frustrated. There was that word again, Leech. Ugh. Why did that have to be the way Ricky visualized Ariel’s affections? The tealette sighed while he listened to his lover harp about how horrible his life was all over again. Truthfull, Ariel didn’t care because he knew that Caddaric had it better than most, he just... hadn’t realized it yet. What he was more interested in was Lennox’ response to his question. Asariel watched the other Dunstan, and did not get the elaborate story he had been hoping for. Awe! Poor Len! As if no one in the city had realized what a great guy the mute was! They certainly didn’t know what they’d lost by having Len come back to the Valley that was for sure. For a moment, Ariel felt kinda bad for swooning all over Ricky when Len was right there watching, with no one of his own. Fortunetly, they’d arrived at the Dunstan residence, and everyone was momentarily distracted from Len’s distressing lack of a partner. The house was quiet and empty, which meant that Carina was off somewhere else, leaving the house to her boys. Wait, she didn’t know Len was home, right? Boy would she be surprise when she finally showed up <3 The mute left quickly to search for something, and Ariel was left once again with Ricky, whom quickly dragged halfway through the house until they were in the family room and on the couch. ”We should set your brother up with someone.” Ariel half pouted, forcing Ricky’s head to the side so that he could inspect the head wound. Hey! If he wasn’t forceful, nothing would get done! ”I mean, isn’t it sad? He should be happy too.”

Caddarick wasn’t about to lie to himself; seeing that sad expression and the shake of his head made him want to stop then and there, forget about the pain he was in, and hug his brother. Lennox really deserved a special someone, and if someone said otherwise, he’d punch them to the moon. Not only was his twin a fantastic guy with a contagious smile, he was the best listener Ricky had ever known, and seemed to always know what to do when it came to comforting someone. Had did the girls in the city not see that? Sure, it could be hard communicating with a mute, but everyone in the Valley had done it for over two decades! It’s not like Len didn’t know English, or something! Hell, he probably knew fifty other languages too! If someone like Ricky could see all of that, how could no one else? It made him lose faith in humanity, honestly. While his brother may not have been able to speak, at least he could open his eyes and see –that was more than he could say for the majority of people he crossed paths with. Maybe he’d find someone now that he was back in the Valley… It was all Ricky would wish for. Nonetheless, as his train of thought coursed its track, he held his actions at bay; the stupid tealette was there, and would probably take advantage of Ricky showing emotion by making a brotherly hug a group one. It didn’t matter, though, as Lennox was here after who knows how long, and they would have plenty of time later on to have a heart-to-heart bonding time.

That would have to wait. Before he knew it, they were standing before his mother’s home, his brother removing his supportive arm to knock. Usually Carina’s voice would chime “Come in!” or within the second of the knock, you would hear a crash, but this time, things were completely silent. After a good five seconds, it was official that she wasn’t home –she had probably frolicked away to go say Happy New Years to every man, woman, child, and their dog. Not that it mattered, considering it just meant they had a bit of time to spare before hearing her scream and fretting and worrying. Maybe by then, he could clean himself up, so it wouldn’t look quite as bad. Neither Lennox nor Asariel hesitated, splitting their separate ways, and Ricky, unfortunately, was dragged alongside the latter. He was pushed down onto the couch, which was incredibly comfortable after years of use, especially after a long day, but he would have enjoyed it all the more if his head wasn’t forcefully turned by the other fellow. ”Show some ******** mercy to the injured, would ya?!” He let out a small string of curses to follow, not like it would faze anyone; it was his normal speech, after all. When Asariel brought up the idea of setting his brother up with someone, his face soured even more (if that was possible). ”No. That isn’t fair to him. If we do something like that, it’s like saying ‘Oh yeah, you can’t be happy in life unless you have someone to screw’. He’ll find someone on his own. It’s Len, afterall.”

Len rummaged through the bathroom cabinet; it looked as though not much had changed in the house since he went away for college. Of course, he had come home to visit once in a while, but it could be pricey at times. Finding what he was searching for, the mute reached for the ointment that would certainly be needed for the many cuts Ricky obtained on account of him. However, his hand paused on the tube as he heard Ariel speak after his twin snapped at him. Surely the conversation was meant to be more private, yet the man wasn’t exactly the quietest person around, and the house was pretty much silent at the time, save their chatting. Listening intently, a small smile formed on Len’s lips while he lightly shook his head at their topic. Ricky knew his brother well; Len had no intention of being set up on some sort of blind date. The way his brother put it was.. a bit more harsh, but the mute got the gist of what he was trying to say. Why were they so worried about him finding someone to be with? Patience was something he was born with, and he knew that he could wait until that right person came around. Perhaps that man or woman was nearby, or he/she could be somewhere far away for him to find in the years to come. Either way, Len was willing to wait despite the natural desire to have a soul mate.

Finally he unfroze and grabbed the ointment along with a box of spot bandages, closing the cabinet door and making his way to the living room as that was where he heard the two talking. Of course, he should have known Ariel would be cozying up to his brother, but it still made the mute bite his lip. Len walked in and sat on the arm of the couch next to Ricky, placing the box of Band-Aids on his lap and unscrewing the cap to the salve. Gently lifting Ricky’s nearby free arm( the other was slightly occupied ), the younger twin began to treat the many cuts that made themselves known with their red color. He tried not to be too rough, but did want to get it over with quickly and get some bandages on the deeper thorn marks. Len then passed the tube over to Ariel, who would hopefully do just as he did and help out a little bit. Surely, the man wouldn’t mind treating his 'lover'.. Opening the box on his lap, the pinkette pulled out a spot bandage and slid the outer paper off easily. As soon as he looked at the small, circular band-aid, however, he bit his lip once again and scrunched his face slightly to hold back any shaking from laughter. Len quickly rolled his lips in to prevent too much of a smile, peeling the last bit of paper off so that he could stick the bandage on to a particularly deep wound towards the back of Ricky’s arm.

Of course, why wouldn’t their mother have pink unicorn spot bandages?
