(( Tetsushin - Haruo's food cart with Rin and Bunbuku ))
Tetsushin's ears flicked when met with the cub's excited voice, his head tilting at the mention of 'sir'. The fox's brow furrowed slightly in confusion as he stood there, small black paws holding the platter close as his narrow eyes watched the movements of the moon bear and the two female workers nearby. Curious, his tail bristled each time the bear spoke. It was easy to detect the professional tone he was putting on, something the silver kitsune did not force unless met with those of a higher rank or customers. To that end, the sly fox quickly put two and two together and realized that this poor sap had mistaken him for a higher up somehow. His ears flattened slightly and a mischievous grin graced his jowls.
"Those sound lovely," he responded in earnest, tiny claws tapping the edge of his plate greedily before passing the two lady's a glance. For her size and appearance, the tanuki was comforting. She looked like she belonged in their rag tag animal group and the leaf upon her head was a rather cute accessory. The only one who looked out of place was the decidedly humanoid kyubi, who caused the single-tailed-fox's expression to sour distinctly. It was all well and good to use a human form temporarily to fool others, but the fact that one who should be so old and wise and powerful was more inclined to a form like that than their own natural body struck a cord in his mind that bordered on disgraceful. That wasn't all, though. Her tails, so plentiful, caused an immediate amount of jealousy in the much younger fox's heart and his chest tightened. In the midst of his act towards the bear, it was difficult to hide the fact he was gritting his teeth while smiling and his voice was slightly strained. "Ahh... yes," quickly righting himself, Tetsushin lifted the plate and allowed for the skewers to be placed while Haruo worked hard while he stood there like the mistaken higher up he was.
Even more kebabs were placed upon his platter before the bear spoke again and Tetsushin raised his chin proudly, soaking up the attention even if it was misplaced. "Thank you," "peasant" was left unsaid but it was easily read in his grin, "Things are going well. If it weren't for you," his gaze drifted briefly to Rin and Bunbuku before leading back to the bear, "This would all fall apart."
Hook, line and sinker. This bear was so gullible, maybe he could keep up this respect act even after the festival. Thoughts whirled in his mind quickly of having a bear for a follower, a flunky following him around to do his bidding. He was a fox, dammit, he shouldn't even have to be in this position -- much less should the kyubi but he didn't know her story and in point of fact wasn't the least bit interested. If it weren't for the fact he heard a horrible shouting some ways off, he might have stayed to preen a bit longer for the bear but an angry customer's voice reached his ears and he perked up immediately, turning to locate the small spirit bossing around a humanoid dragon. "Got to run~" he purred condescendingly before padding off in the direction of Rei and Raia.
"Excuse me!" he called with renewed vigor as he came to a stop by Raia's side, holding out the platter of fruit kebabs and delicious snacks to Rei, "This is what you were asking for, correct?" The dragon was so quiet beside him, Tetsushin wondered idly if perhaps she was incompetent. There were so many spirits all over the bathhouse at all times, workers and customers alike, it was hard to get anyone straight by name, face or even species, but he was certain he had never seen her before. She must have been new.

((Haruo's food cart))
Rin got the distinct feeling that the other fox did not take a liking to her. Maybe it was the way he spoke to her or the way he gritted his teeth. And the kyubi couldn't help, but begin to worry. She was so used to making people happy. She just hated when she upset people. She bit her lip, and tried to go over, in her head, what she could have possibly done to upset him. Frowning, she twiddled her fingers, as Tetsushin quickly took off for the table where the small spirit and dragon girl were. "Hmm...." she thought aloud. She had no idea that her appearance is what was off-setting. She had grown accustomed to being around humans at her shrine, and cared for them deeply. Especially her lover who had come to accept her, no matter what form she took. It was also true that foxes, women in particular, took the form of humans to be with their lovers. Not just to trick them. But some earnestly fell in love. Of course, trying to explain that to Tetsushin seemed like a bad idea all together. Instead of following him, since he seemed to have the problem under control, she stayed near the carts and contemplated what to do next. Perhaps she should be getting back to her tables.

[[Approaching the small koi pond where Yuki and Yukiko are sitting]]
Padma was patient as the burly worker carried her in his arms. He had helped her out when she had arrived to the Bathhouse for the first time, and since then they have grown to be friends. His strength and gentle nature were welcome company, more-so when there were no water sources nearby. The Baku was now so used to carrying her that he barely noticed when he avoided uneven ground or steadied himself using his tail instead of his mighty arms. The lotus spirit looked slowly around, a happy smile on her face, her senses reveling in the excitement that was the festival.
"Aren't festivals wonderful? The bustle, the fun, the excitement! And, of course, the splendid food!" She chuckled playfully, eliciting a deep, throaty laugh from her massive companion. "They are indeed, Padma-sama. But they also mean a lot more work for us Workers," "They do, indeed. Especially with this amount of customers! I might be developing a headache from all the noise! But wait, Kenta, I think I see a perfectly nice pond to the the right, yes, right there, where there are a lot less people. The relative peace would be welcome. Wouldn't want to skip out on the celebration due to an early headache, would I?" The lotus noticed the two yuki-onnas only when the Baku reached the pond and lowered her gently onto the cool water. "Why, hello! I apologize for intruding upon your company so disrespectfully, but I'm afraid this is one of the few places around where I can be at peace both physically," Here the spirit waved her hand at her bottom torso, "And mentally," Now the lotus directed the waving motion towards the busy stalls in the distance. "But perhaps I can make up for my rudeness. Kenta, be a dear, and bring me and my new found companions a feast! Kakigōri, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, onigiri, kabobs, yams, and, of course, sweets galore! As for drinks, some sweet koshu or amazake would be appropriate," As the Baku runs off in the direction of the stalls, Padma turns to the yuki-onna and smiles warmly.
