Name: Miguel Torez Age: 17 Height: 5' 9" Weight: 130 lb Description/Image: Alias: Doesn't have one yet, but most just call him "Street Rat" Occupation: Street Kid/Orphan Origin: Gotham City Parentage: Mother: Rosa Torez (deceased) Father: Bane Rank: Rookie/Newbie Status: Chaotic Hero Personality: For the most part Miguel is laid back, kind, and compassionate towards others (especially towards girls who he thinks are attractive). He does have a tendency to be rude at times, sarcastic, and a bit hot-headed and short tempered. His happy and go-lucky nature is used to cover up his inner sadness and anger. Skills: -Bilingual in Spanish and English -Hacking -Mechanics Tactics: When fighting in direct combat with an enemy, he relies on his speed to avoid attacks. When he attacks, he weakens the enemy first before delivering a final, powerful blow to the enemy's possible weak point. Gadgets and/or Weaponry: -A single switchblade -iPod Nano Powers: -Enhanced Strength: able to lift up to 2000 lb -Enhanced Speed: able to run up to 35 mph -Enhanced Agility: able to stunts because of his abilities such as jump up to 25 ft and extreme parkour. -Enhanced Cell Regeneration: able to heal himself much faster then normal humans -Heighten Senses: his hearing, sense of smell, and eyesight are more powerful than normal humans Weaknesses: A direct blow to the chest or decapitation is fatal. Likes-Video Games -Food (and a lot of it) -Helping others -Girls Dislikes:-Villains -Bane -Talking about his mom Bio: Miguel lived with his mother in Gotham City, and lived a normal life. When he was 8, he was home with his abuela while his mother was at work. It was around 11 pm when the police came to the apartment, telling them that Miguel's mother was killed in a car crash. Miguel was devastated and didn't talk for almost six months. He went to go live with his abuela until he was 11 when she too died, but this time it was from cancer. Then he was transferred to an all boys orphanage in Gotham. He would sneak out often and roam the streets, but was always caught by the police and brought back to the orphanage. When he was 16, he snuck out again but this time he was captured by men wearing ski masks, or something because he couldn't see their faces. He was blind folded, sedated, and brought to and abandoned sewer system. There he was strapped to a table and that's when he met his father for the first time, Bane. They injected a test formula of an improved version of Venom that is permanent. When the needle pierced the skin, searing pain went through his body and was knocked out. When he woke up, he found himself in an alleyway. he tried telling him that it was all a dream, but he found a bandage where they injected the syringe in him, and more than that, he discovered his abilities. He figured it might be a bad idea to go back to the orphanage like this, so for almost a year he avoided the police which was now easier because of his abilities. What he doesn't know is that Bane and his goons are now watching him and hunting him down.

Name: Brenda Wayne (legally changed from "Bruce Wayne")
Age: Chronologically, Brenda is somewhere in her 30s; physically, however, she is in her early-to-mid twenties, roughly around the age of her universe's d**k Grayson.
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 143 lbs
Description/Image: Brenda Wayne stands at five-foot-ten and weighs one-hundred-forty-three pounds. She has black hair and striking blue eyes, and possesses a very fit, muscular figure, but is still rather curvy. While chronologically in her thirties, her body was rejuvenated to be around ten years younger than how old she actually is. Brenda is easily one of the most beautiful women on Earth-- after all, she was Bruce Wayne in her reality, who was himself one of the most attractive men around (and is generally very attractive no matter the universe)...
Alias: Batwoman, Bats, Batwoman-1138, Brenda Grayson
Occupation: Owner and CEO of Wayne Enterprises in her reality; retired crimefighter.
Origin: Gotham City (Earth-113 cool
Parentage: Thomas and Martha Wayne (Earth-1138; both deceased)
Rank: Veteran
Mentor: None
Status: Hero (Retired)
Personality: Brenda's personality is about as different from the mainstream Batman's as possible without making her any less of a Bat than him. She's much happier, much more sociable, and much friendlier than Bruce is, while she retains all of her old memories and abilities and as such, she is able to snap back into her former, more serious mindset when the situation calls for it-- like when on a mission.
Skills: Brenda, being a universal alternate of New Earth's Bruce Wayne, possesses all of the same abilities and fighting prowess as her counterpart. She also can do one thing that Bruce can't: Cook, as she was taught by her universe's version of Alfred Pennyworth prior to the transformation.
Tactics: Being a universal alternate of Batman, Brenda's tactics mirror his more or less exactly.
Gadgets and/or Weaponry: Pretty much any standard WayneTech as used by Batman; the technology between the universes matches up in this case.
Powers: None
Weaknesses: All standard human weaknesses
Likes/Dislikes: (Will fill out later)
Bio: Brenda comes from a little Elseworld that I made, which I call "Earth-1138". Brenda's story matches up almost exactly with the mainstream Bruce Wayne for much of her life, up until some point around the time that d**k Grayson became Nightwing. The events of Knightfall, for example, happened right after d**k became Nightwing, and the biggest turning point came a few years later, when the Zatanna Zatara of this Elseworld turned Bruce Wayne into a woman as a prank. Unfortunately (or not, depending on your point of view), this spell worked too well, and Bruce was permanently turned into a woman. Over the next few months, due to the effects of the spell, Bruce began to pick up more and more feminine personality traits. This third personality, referred to as "Brenda", eventually became completely dominant in Wayne's mind.
Even before this transformation was "complete" by way of the shift in personality, Fem!Bruce (distinguishable from "Brenda" in that it was undoubtedly still Bruce/Batman in mindset, just in the body of a woman) was forced to retire early, as "a female Bat running around at the same time Bruce Wayne got a sex change would be easier to connect the dots with", as there was never a Batgirl in this reality at any point in time.
Around the time that the transition from "Bruce/Batman" to "Brenda" was underway, Wayne developed a mutual attraction with former protege and current Batman, d**k Grayson. Upon the completion of the mental transition (and after a lot of sexual tension between Wayne and d**k), "Brenda", now the dominant mindset within Wayne's body, admitted her love for d**k, which was reciprocated, and the two were quietly married in a private ceremony several months later, which was attended only by Alfred Pennyworth, Brenda's butler/valet/father figure.
Around this point in time, it was very quietly announced that Bruce Wayne had received a sex change, though no details were given. After the initial reactions died down (which, perhaps surprisingly, were more amicable and accepting than they likely would be in the real world) Brenda settled down into a relatively happy life, genuinely enjoying her status as a billionaire CEO, and playing mission control for her husband in the Batcave while he replaced her as Batman-- which she had been doing even before the mental transition was complete.
Roughly a year after Brenda was originally gender-bent, and due to having a lot more free time on her hands due to having retired, Brenda made an amazing scientific breakthrough; she created a device (which she informally dubbed the "Transportalponder" because it sounded cool) that was able to sync up with the vibrations of various universes, and through a process similar to that of a Boom Tube, the user is capable of teleporting themselves to a set reality, which is how she will cross over into this universe. This also means that she can go back to her universe at any time she wishes, so long as she has the device to do it and has it set to the correct vibrational frequency; the frequency which she memorized just in case she lost her current transportalponder and needed to make another-- and this is why she has only decided to go to one universe until she's sure she can go to another later.
Pictures: ((Oh, if Sean sees this: Don't worry, I talked with both Skylark and Hikig about this, and they both gave me the thumbs-up and are pretty excited about the confusion this'll cause... Heehee.))

In the first grade he would often build his own robots out of scrap metal and computer circuit boards. He got a full scholarship to Harvard University when he was 14 years old. He got straight A's in all of his classes though he did need a little extra help because of his disabilities. On his free time he would build gadgets, including RINGO. He graduated with a degree in Computer and Engineering Sciences as well as Physics. He plans on going back to school to get his master's degree and doctor's degree.

Name: Hadley Pryce
Age: 18
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 128 pounds
Description/Image: Hadley is a very slender, somewhat muscled girl with a slightly tanned, still fair complexion and dark green eyes. Her hair is a lightly dusted dark brown, and cut in a short, almost boyish fashion. She has a very fine jawline, which adds an air of femininity despite the almost boy-like presence and appearance created by her short hair, and also has full, pinkish lips.
Alias: Ace
Occupation: Vigilante, Student
Origin: Darrington, Washington >-moved to-> Opal City, Maryland
Parentage: Lou Pryce (Father), Janice Pryce (Mother)
Rank: Newbie
Status: Hero
Personality: Generally a quiet, happy in the shadows kind of girl, Hadley is actually a very friendly person. She usually wears a stoic, chill expression, and isn't the type to strike up conversations, but she is incredibly at ease in most situations, and has a very jovial, witty sense of humor which can be a bit morbid sometimes. Despite her carefree attitude to most things, she takes her vigilante role very seriously, and won't let anyone she considers a bully or a criminal get away with anything. Even if she can't directly stop the perpetrator, she will do everything in her power to keep the innocent safe or to help them recover. Hadley enjoys challenges and placing limits on herself only to break through them. She believes everyone has it in them to be something greater, and considers herself lucky to have found her calling. Even with all this conviction, she is still very lighthearted under most conditions.
Skills: Skilled Archer: While still training herself, Hadley is an excellent marksman with a bow and arrow, and is capable of pulling off a variety of "trick shots."
Skilled Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Hadley has been training in gradually more intensive styles of martial arts since she was seven, and is now well versed in styles such as aikido, jujitsu, tae-kwon-do, and some aspects of others.
Skilled Hunter/Survivalist: Since her initial experience in the wilderness, Hadley has returned to several different areas of forest in an effort to keep herself survival-ready. She is a skilled tracker, and able to sustain herself for extended periods of time in the unforgiving wild.
Skilled Acrobat: Hadley has spent almost as much time in acrobatics training as she has martial arts, and is very nimble and agile in and out of combat situations.
Skilled Tactician: She is adept at plotting out strategies for use against her opponents, and usually relies on this ability to plan things out for victory.
Stealth: She has trained much in the art of sneaking and keeping out of sight, as well as remaining silent during extended periods of time.
Tactics: Being of squishy mortal constitution, Hadley's main tactical choice is to remain at a distance to whittle her opponents down before she can go in for the "kill" so to speak. Stealth and subterfuge are also big components of her strategy, and she will often try to outwit or psyche-out her enemies while pulling a disappear-reappear move while keeping on her feet. When all else fails, she's no stranger to escaping, but is more inclined to go hand-to-hand until she either knows she can't win, or had bested her opponent.
Gadgets and/or Weaponry: -Black, Customized Compound Bow -Arrows: Roped, Flash, Fire. {All homemade} -Spare wire bowstrings -Lighter -Matches -Collapsible Baton -Taser -Tripwires
Powers: Hadley has no superhuman abilities.
Weaknesses: All mortal human weaknesses.
Likes: Training, the outdoors, heights, thrill-seeking, video games from time to time, things that are lemon-lime flavored, and running.
Dislikes: Crowded places, anyone who mistreats others (especially parents who neglect or abuse kids), drugs.
Bio: Hadley Pryce was born in 1996 in Darrington, Washington. From the time she was born, her father was a neglectful, selfish man who often found himself in jail or being under investigation for criminal charges. Rarely was he at home, and when he was, he was less than loving to both Janice and his daughter, Hadley. Janice, Hadley's mother, wasn't much better. She was often strung out or hungover, and the only times she wasn't she was high or drunk, which kept her from true interaction with her daughter. Hadley became incredibly self-reliant from a young age, and also found herself infatuated with the hero Green Arrow; his roguish skill and stance as a normal person who did amazing things caught her attention early. With no one to watch her, she would often find herself wandering the streets of the small city for hours. When she was six, after sneaking about the streets and between buildings to avoid attention, she came to a small dojo which was led by a man named Sensei Jun.
For two weeks, Hadley would return to the dojo window and merely watch the training, but one day Jun noticed the little girl and asked her where her parents were. Hadley responded she didn't have parents. Jun listened as the girl talked of her inattentive parents, and took pity on her for her apparent loneliness by inviting her to join in his teachings for free. Hadley accepted, and began a variety of martial arts training programs from that day on. Fueled by an urge to see a better world than the one she'd grown up in around her parents, she pushed herself to train harder. It was her everything to be stronger and faster, and it wasn't long before she was asking for Jun to teach her more. She began gymnastic and acrobatic training at the age of seven, while still attending school; a deal she'd made with Jun was that she'd have to go, despite how much she wanted to keep active. Despite the skill and prowess she had for these physical tasks, Hadley never tried to go to competitions, as she felt it set a limit as she "only had to be better than a certain level." Such limits didn't appeal to her, so she kept at her training.
With her love of the Green Arrow, whom she thought of as a role model and a idol, drove her to pursue more experiences in hopes that one day, she could also make the world better as a superhero. Night and day she worked for years, and upon her fourteenth birthday Jun surprised her with a special camping trip with some of the other students to Mt. Baker National Forest. Hadley was elated to go out in the wilderness, and did much of the prepping for the trip. As they reached their destination, deeper than most would go into the woods, Hadley's exuberance got the better of her. She walked deeper and deeper into the trees, until she lost her footing and fell down a large, steep hill into more trees below. Battered slightly, and armed with only a small survival knife, she found herself alone. Despite the efforts of her group to find her, Hadley remained lost and had to fend for herself in the dense forest for nearly a month before finding a group of hikers. She gained some press with her story, and when asked by the news to give a report on her experience, she responded with a shrug and said: "I've had worse camping trips."
But her time in the woods at changed her. She had been shown an aspect of the world, a wild, untamed aspect, which she felt strangely comfortable in. Solitude was not something she was afraid of, and upon returning to the city, Jun had a special gift for her which would help her utilize her newfound drive to be like her hero: A bow. After spending a few months of training like usual again, adding archery to her list of skills, she began to design her own "trick" arrows, as well as a persona she could use while taking on the criminal activity which had become prevalent in her city. She became "Ace", and used her years of training to show people, many of whom reminded her of her father, that crime wasn't acceptable. It was a rough start, and she sustained fair amounts of injury in the first few months. But her drive to correct the errors of criminals kept her on her feet, along with Jun's support. When she turned eighteen, after about two-and-a-half years of vigilantism, Jun told Hadley he had sent an application letter to a college in Opal City. Her impressive grades got her accepted, and while she wanted nothing more to stay in Darrington, she concluded there had to be more to do in other places.
A heartfelt goodbye, and a "thank you" which contained as much gratitude as she could fit were given to Jun, and after a half-hearted "goodbye, I'll miss you" to her mother, Hadley made for Opal City, Maryland. Since arriving, she has done well to keep her vigilante career hidden, as well as showed a fair amount of criminals the error of their ways.

Name: Nightfire /Audrey/ GraysonAge: 18Height: 5'8''Weight:135lbsDescription/Image: Nightfire when not wearing her holo-generating bracelet that creates her more human facade has the light orange skin that runs through her mother's kind, her father's black hair, and human blue eyes that glow purple when she uses her powers. She has a voluptuous build like her mother, and is quick to smile. When wearing her bracelet she has lightly tanned skin, blue eyes, and black hair. Alias: NightstarOccupation:Vigilante, college student, and Princess.Origin:TamaranParentage:Richard Grayson and StarfireRank: IntermediateStatus: HeroPersonality:Sweet, friendly, and flirty until you tick her off. Then run, because her temper is terrible.Skills: -Expert Combatant: Nightfire is also an extremely proficient in armed and unarmed combat, having been trained in those arts by the Warlords of Okaara and her father Robert Grayson. -Hacker: Taught by her dad.Tactics: She begins with stealth and gathering info, but is not above a surprise or open attack.Gadgets and/or Weaponry: Nightwing Suit: Nightfire's current costume is made of a version of the Nomex fire-resistant, triple-weave Kevlar-lined material. It is an excellent protection against damage, and it's also electrically insulated. Instead of a black cape for stealthing, the suit is light sensitive, darkening when there is more light in the area. The current costume is a stylized blue "wing" across her shoulders and extending to her hands, coloring hdf two middle fingers, over a black torso and legs. Nightfire's costume is tailored specifically to her unique style of crime-fighting. As such, her costume has fewer body-armor inlays than Batman's, anticipating a decreased need for shock-absorption and an increased capacity for motion ("Move more, get hit less."). A caveat of this configuration can be exploited by capable fighters who are both fast and strong, such as Superman. Should Nightfire need to engage an enemy who is capable of exploiting this weakness, she has supplemental body-armor overlays which she can attach to her gauntlets, her mask, her shoulders, and boots. The suit also adapts to her power surges, allowing her energy to travel through the suit without any damage.
-Nightwing Mask:The mask, in the form of her symbol, is fixed in place with spirit gum, and includes a built-in radio transmitter/receiver and Starlite night-vision lenses. Powers:Tamaranean Solar Absorption: Nightfire's alien physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it to energy. She can also absorb the ultraviolet radiation from other life forms. This power also enables Nightfire to perform the following feats:
Flight: Which leaves a distinctive energy contrail of neon blue or purple behind, looking as if it is coming directly from her hair.
Starbolts: The solar absorption experiments performed on her by the alien Psions granted her the amazing power and ability to channel and project that same energy into destructive blasts called "starbolts". Nightfire also has the power and ability to unleash all her stored energy into a pseudo nova blast. It is suggested to be as hot as the sun itself and so only uses this in dire situations. Also neon blue or purple
Linguistic Assimilation: She is also capable of assimilating other languages through physical contact with another person.
Invulnerability: Nightfire is impervious to most kinds of damage.
Superhuman Strength: Nightfire possesses superhuman strength--the uppermost level of which is not knownWeaknesses:-Family and friends. -Other Superhuman foes can injure her after severe attacks.Likes/Dislikes: Likes: -Popcorn -Bubble gum -Sweets -Coffee -Attractive human men -Her family (Minus Blackfire...)
Dislikes: -Tofu -The Need to be Quiet -Rude People -Men who Attempt to Cop A Feel Bio:When her mother returned to Tamaran, she left d**k Grayson without the knowledge that she was with child. A year or so later a small child named Nightfire was exploring the palace on Tamamran. Nightfire was raised on Tamaran and taught everything her mother was. She was a born diplomat, making friends easily as a young child. At the age of 15 she found out who her father was and demanded to leave the planet in search of him. Her mother consented and she left Tamaran and traveled to Earth and Gotham. There she changed her name to Audrey and searched for her father. She found him. At first she kept her identity secret. But with the exposure of her powers d**k soon realized who she was, and everything else fell in place. She joined her father as a vigilante, he taught her everything her knew about the job. At seventeen she left his side to search for another team, but finds herself still searching a year later. It's been a bit distracting thanks to school...

Name: Jack Louis "Tex" Benoit Age: 23 Height: 6' 1" Weight: 200lbs Description/Image: Essentially like that. However, he has a flair for cuffed jeans, a t-shirt, and a good Cowboy hat. "I look GOOOOOOOD!!!!"Dude! You inherited the fourth wall-thing, too?! "Well DUH, Dad taught me this one."Alright! Alias: The Texas Avenger Occupation: Musician/Texas Ranger Origin: Jack was born aboard the Walcott Brothers Circus train in Baltimore, Maryland normally to an unknown mother and proud father C.J. Benoit. They lived the Carnival Life until C.J. left the circus to raise him, they moved to Austin, Texas with his honorary uncles Norville "Dundee" Rogers and Arell "Gator" L'amour just across the state line in Breaux Bridge. After joining the police force and later the Texas Rangers, he took a mission that led him to Gotham, where he resides today. Parentage: C.J. Benoit: Father. ???: Mother. "Well to be fair, she WAS a superhero, dad was a Circus worker and Bounty Hunter, so we can't exactly say her name otherwise it'd blow her cover!"Although I think whoever's in Marvel Vs. DC might get it. "Great." *stares at the turkey leg in his hand* "Well, y'are what ya eat, I guess. Hey, who else is here?"Well, Rosie's here I think. I saw her profile on the way over. Also saw Batmom . . . a few people we know. "SCORE!!!"Norville "Dundee" Rogers: Uncle Arell "Gator" L'amour: Uncle & Godfather (Dun' and Arell are honorary uncles to the boy, having been inseparable best friends with C.J., even when Dun' set off on his own.) Rank: Intermediate (two-three years on the Texas Rangers) Status: Anti-Hero (Chaotic Good. Unlike his uncles and father, he never would rob a bank under ANY circumstances, but he's not afraid to shoot to kill if he has to, like his family.) Personality: Laid-back, funny, intelligent, and calm . . . even known for cracking jokes during a fight. It's when he STOPS when people oughta prepare for a MONDO a**-beating. Skills: *Skilled Shot: While not as good as Arell or HIS mentor Jonah Hex, he's been known to hit where he's aiming . . . occasionally working on all the trick shots Arell was helping him with before he decided to head up. *Fourth Wall: Well, face it, kids. We KNEW this was gonna pop up eventually. Since C.J. IS his dad, he kinda learned how to do the fourth-wall hop. He doesn't do it as much as his dad did, but since I narrated their adventures, C.J. sent me along to hang out. "Watch this. Instead of crashing down from the ceiling, I'm gonna wind up digging UP into trouble!"Okay, so I used that cliche a few times. It worked, didn't it? "True . . . by the way, Dad STILL thinks they oughta clean that vent!"*Tech savvy. He's decent at it. It may take a little more time than Dun' would, but he can still handle things with a computer or a wrench when he has to. *Strength. Arell taught him how to fistfight . . . he's still a little clumsy (which has gotten him knocked out cold several times) but he's getting better. *Vehicle Operation. Arell and C.J. both can do things to a car that would make people GAWK. They also taught C.J. how to drive. The driving instructor almost failed him, but was too impressed that he did the driver's course while holding a wheelie that he just gave him the license. *Musically talented. The guys were all decent musicians, playing together in a Garage/Rockabilly group known as the Knuckledraggers. Arell (Lead Guitar), Dun (Bass), C.J. (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals) and a drummer only known as Caveman had a decent hit on the charts with a song called "Crazy (Like a $#*T-house Rat)" which brought Rockabilly back into the limelight. They also all helped teach Jack how to play, and he's fairly decent. However, he's still kinda shy about playing, just picking on his spare time. The boys are actually on tour, hence their absence in the RP for now. Tactics: Jack is known for daring rescues bordering on the ridiculous. While he doesn't seem like much (he doesn't even have a SUPERHERO outfit!) he's easy to slip into the crowd . . . many times, the only notice the villains (and some HEROES) have that Jackie came to play is a playful joke and the flash of his badge. Gadgets and/or Weaponry: *Truth and Justice: Arell handed down his beloved .357 magnums to Jack when the former retired from bounty hunting and the latter joined the police academy. When asked about using those instead of the police-issued pistol, he says it's just a preference. *"The Mule": Jack's military surplus jeep. He bought it from Arell's stepdad (retired Gunnery Sergeant J.T. "Pappy" L'amour, USMC) for $500 when they visited his shop. He also keeps SEVERAL cases of ammo, his guitar, duffel bag of essentials and a gas can or two in there. *Laptop Computer: While he doesn't use this as much as Dundee, he keeps it close by in case he has to hack or look something up . . . mostly guitar chords or for parts. *Cell Phone: Jack keeps one around just in case. Arell, Dun' and C.J. all call on occasion, but it's a handy device. *Essentials (keys, wallet, ect) He keeps his badge in his wallet. *Steel-plated Resonator Guitar: He likes the sound. *Knife: He carries a trusty knife he made out of a railroad spike. *Handcuffs: "Kinky ain't it? But seeing how I'm a COP . . ."Yup, you're DEFINITELY your father's boy. Powers: See "skills" . . . he doesn't really have powers besides the fourth-wall thing, and he kinda learned that, too! Weaknesses: *The Fairer sex. Jack (like C.J. and Arell) is a SUCKER for the ladies. If he falls, he falls HARD. *The fact that while he's a brawler, bold, a gunslinger, ect. He's still QUITE human . . . there are some times he's even questioning HIMSELF if he knows he could possibly get killed. *He gets homesick a lot. He misses Texas, but he hides it well. Likes/Dislikes: *Rock N' Roll (he loves CCR, The Band, Travis Wammack, Southern Culture on the Skids, ect.) *He LOVES chili dogs (extra onions) and is often seen snacking on one! *Cowboy Culture. He sees himself as a bit of a cowboy. *His hometown. He's a proud TexaCajun (as he calls it). His accent shows elements of C.J.'s Maryland twang, Arell's HEAVY Cajun accent and spending most of his life in Texas, he picked up the twang, too! *He DOES NOT LIKE SNAKES. None of the guys do, but Jack is TERRIFIED of them. *He also hates Nazis and Racists. He got sent on this sabbatical to Gotham when a Neo-Nazi sent him into a blind rage and gave him such a beat-down that the Nazi was in the hospital for two weeks. Tex would have flat-out killed him if he didn't get held back. *He doesn't like Lutefisk. As he puts it "it's fish jello. I ain't goin' NEAR that!" Bio: Jack was born September fourth aboard the circus train when they were speeding through Maryland. However, by the time they got his birth certificate they were in Baltimore, so that's what they put down. Jack got his name from Jack Larue, a feared pirate who was a friend of the late Boudreaux "Buddy" Jackson (Arell's ancestor . . . C.J. joked that after three hundred years or so, he deserved a break). They lived a great life, however C.J. and his live-in girlfriend split when she went back to Gotham to fight crime when she heard there was even MORE trouble in town. So the boys went to Texas, Dun', Arell and C.J. agreeing that with some of the risks taken (and C.J. being a father) that they should probably knock off bounty hunting, their risky style being quick to make poor Jack an orphan. While C.J. would take Jack over into Louisiana to see his uncles, Jack learned as much as he could, having heard the stories that they would tell of their adventures, which inspired Jack to become a Texas Ranger, one of the most revered law forces in the United States (Ironically, C.J., Dun' and Arell started off their antics as a Robin Hood-esque gang of bank robbers, stealing from the corrupt and giving to the needy) which the guys supported wholeheartedly. Jack over time became the youngest graduate of the Police Academy and later joined the Rangers at 20! C.J. was so proud, when he found out, he flew from London, Ontario RIGHT after the Knuckledraggers opened for Ronnie Hawkins & the Hawks to give his boy a hug and to celebrate their success. While the boys were on tour, Jack stayed at C.J.'s house outside of Driftwood (where C.J.'s oldest and best friend from Maryland helped Jack learn more about police work) but at twenty-three, he had wound up in a jam. He found a group of Skinheads that were bullying a schoolmate for being African-American . . . and Tex went ballistic, single-handedly beating them up, and gave the ringleader such a relentless beating, a few members of the Austin Police had to pull him away from hauling off an beating the Neo-Nazi to death with his bare hands. While other than that, he had been a skilled Ranger, the rest of the Rangers agreed that instead of putting him on probation, that he would go up to Gotham City to help clean up the town. On the way up the Beauty and Beast project got started . . . he remembered the stories of the guys working with many of the big-named heroes, who were now under serious prejudice by the Government. He decided that instead of helping the project get rolling, to go rogue and join the heroes to fight back for Justice. This is Tex Benoit, and this is his story.
