If Silas decides to attach himself to a certain cause, you can bet your a** he'll stick with it. Reaching your goals is an important thing and he will zero in on a task until he's satisfied that it's done. He's not easily distracted from things that gain his attention and he's an awfully good listener as a result (if he deems something worth listening to, anyway). Even with long term goals, he'll rarely lose sight of whatever the goal is. As a result, he can be rather stubborn, especially if an idea he's attached to is one that must be dropped or reworked. On the plus side, this trait allows him to keep his business fairly well-organized.

Silas has an undeniable thirst for power that sometimes devolves into illusions of grandeur. He wants to climb to the top, and that's that. He will do just about anything to ensure whatever plans he has at the moment succeed, no matter what it takes to get there. While plans such as this are almost always foiled, there are still other small goals that he will always have the drive to pursue. It's this trait that often goads him into working with others and being a 'team player', since a lot of goals are sort of hard to reach all on your lonesome. Unfortunately, even this is a challenge, because he will often try to dominate any sort of group or team he finds himself affiliated with.

Silas is almost always an outwardly nasty customer. While he can put on a charming mask at times, it's only to hide that he is an awful, mean-spirited and generally hateful individual. Silas has no qualms with listening to his base pokemon instincts, which still tell him to drain the blood out of other living things whenever possible. While this used to be carried out with some amount of compassion, the years have been unkind. Silas rarely kills, but he loves to frighten and he enjoys causing pain, using moves like supersonic to dizzy and confuse before biting into the victim he's cornered. He's sadistic in other ways as well, and runs his mouth often, always one to jeer or insult, especially if he's gotten into a fight and can overtake his opponent.

Strengths:
flight ; While his newfound limbs give him added deadliness on the ground, there is no denying the fact that he is most dangerous in the air. Dual wings allow him to be very aerobatic, and he is a very swift flyer as well.
night vision ; a simple and innate ability to see in the pitchest of darkness.
echolocation ; enabled by the supersonic move, he can project sound waves and process the echoes that return with the use of his large ears.

History:
short version brainstorm;
He will NOT have amnesia
He will remember being the leader of the Usurpers but will have been cast away after a mutiny or by his own folly, perhaps being too unpopular in one way or another (would like to discuss this with staff at some point to come to an agreeable reason)
He started off as a Zubat among millions of other Zubats. He'd watch people come and go from his home on the cave ceiling, never thinking much of it.
