Virule listened patiently to everything Tsuki said. However, immediately after she left, he looked down at Fae and frowned. "I'm not really that scary. Am I?" When Fae simply brought a hand up to cover her mouth before giggling at her master's expense, the pink-haired man grumbled and went back to his book. "Fine then, forget you. I thought you liked being in my company. Instead you decide to make fun of me and agree with that weird chick. I'm only scary when I want to be. Not all the time. So...yeah!" Thumping his fist down on the table, Virule sighed heavily and shook his head. "Meh, just forget it." And with that, the eldest of the Herenheim siblings simply resumed reading his book in a search for whatever information he could find.

"Heartless are such curious beings..."
☆✦☾✦☆
It had been some time after the events with Aqua. Akito was not happy, but the matter did not bother Mathis. He was curious though about Aqua and her friends, but this mage had more important matters on his hands. That blasted planet was still around and the girl went missing. He scowled as he walked down the hall to the library. He had seen her from a past event. She was still alive and kicking, a candle light that needed to be snuffed out.
In his arms he carried a book from his personal collection. Golden runes were written on the side of the spine in another language, his language from his world. It was one of the many books from his collection from his tower back home. He wanted to go back to that tower. If only his room could connect to his tower, oh what a thrill that would be, but it could not be so. He had to work with what he had here for the time being before his trip back to his home world. “So much preparation.” He muttered quietly. The rabid dog heartless tried to keep up with his master’s quick pace.
He glanced down at the dog as he opened the doors to the library. A huff escaped his lips as he hurried in. He rolled his eyes as he snaked his way through rows of books, his fingers touched the spines of the books as if ready to grab the right book. “Please be quiet here dog.” He barked the order to his companion. He had much to do today and did not want distractions from his dog companion. The heartless dog whimpered and tucked his tail between his legs and then hid behind a bookshelf.
“How is it possible for her to be alive still? How!?! She was in a battle back home…one that should have ended her! How is she still here!?!” He thought to himself. He abruptly stopped at a shelf of books that caught his attention. The name on the spine made him grin. One of his fingers traced the spine of the book before he grabbed it off the shelf. “This looks interesting.” He mumbled. It was a book on one of the princesses of heart. He bundled the book with the one he brought and continued on.
He needed more research on heartless too. He cursed on his breath. Most of his collection of books was in his tower. He was missing a few dark magic rituals. His eyes scanned the ends of the bookshelves as he walked by and looked at the pieces of paper alphabetizing each section of books. “I know how to summon heartless, but how does one turn heartless.” He thought. He walked into the letter H row of books. He scanned the shelves. “Hmmmm….” His eyes stopped on a book about heartless. He grabbed the book off the shelf and added it to the bundle of books in his arms. His companion heartless followed behind Mathis and kept quiet.
"Before your worlds come to an end, all will feel my wrath."

When Fae perked up and started glancing about, the pink-haired man sighed and shook his head. "Fae, behave. If you upset the wrong person, do you know what could happen to you? Remember Master Akito? Well, some of these others might not be so nice to you. I don't have a problem with you wandering around and exploring, but I want you to be careful and behave. Is that understood?" When his Soldier Heartless nodded her head, Virule waved his hand and allowed her to skip off to do whatever she felt like.
While Fae wandered off, the somewhat grumpy man closed his book and brushed his fingers through his hair. "Ugh. The best I can do is show this book to Master Akito and see if he knows anything about these three. Then again...is that really such a wise idea?" Shaking his head, Virule tapped his fingers against the book a few times. Sighing softly, he let another frown grace his features. The guy's like a ticking time bomb half the time. If I'm right and Aqua's one of those that escaped...if I end up saying the wrong then, I could very well lose my head. Nah, I'd better just stay quiet with this. Though...I do know one person I could talk to about this. Might be one seriously crazy b*****d, but at least I know he wouldn't rat me out to Akito. Now...where the hell would Nik be at this time? Shrugging his shoulders, Virule slipped the book into his bag and leaned back in the chair to wait for Fae to return to him.

"Heartless are such curious beings..."
☆✦☾✦☆
The mage walked the aisle that he was currently in. He exited and walked past Virule and stopped at a small desk. He placed the books on the table and scratched his chin. He picked up the book about heartless and thumbed through the pages; now lost in thought to notice his dog companion peaking around a row of bookshelves at his friend Fae. The mage wrinkled his brow and placed the open book back on the desk and then opened the book he brought to the library. His eyes scanned the golden script of his language. He mumbled softly.
The rabid dog heartless growled softly. Fae jumped to attention and looked around Virule’s chair at her friend. Her armor clanged as she hopped off after her friend in a game of tag. The duo of friends ran through the aisles, under tables, and jumped over chairs and stools. The rabid dog heartless pounced on Fae and licked at her helmet. Strange noises, almost like giggling, bubbled out of the heartless. The dog jumped off and started the friendly game again.
The dog weaved between chair and table legs and he turned his head back to look at where Fae was. He barked and suddenly stopped as he ran into the legs of Virule’s chair. He abruptly sat down and shook his head with a huff. Fae jumped from table to table trying to keep up with her dog friend. Her foot caught the edge of the table and she leapt forward and clung to her human friend’s head out of panic of falling. The dog heartless shot out from under the chair before it fell on him. Fae let go and jumped off and skipped after her friend.
The dog darted under his master’s robes which caused the studying mage to look up from the text he was reading. He turned as his dog companion weaved through his legs. “What?!....” He lifted his robe to his ankles and looked down at his companion. Mathis furrowed his brow and the corner of his lips tugged at his cheeks and lips as a frown formed. “I told you to be quiet. I’m re…” Fae crashed into the mage’s legs. He fell and dropped the book he was holding. It slid to a stop on the cover and spine. The two other books fell off the desk and landed with a loud thump on the ground next to Mathis. The mage groaned and slowly sat up. He rubbed the back of his head and his free hand blindly searched for the book he brought to the library.
The book he had brought slid a few feet from him and stopped next to Virule. The golden runes were glowing faintly. The ink pictures of the text were moving on the pages reenacting a part of the previous war. A black dragon, Wysteron the Terrible, flew through the sky on dark leathery wings. The sea lapped at the beach as Wysteron’s army marched up the coast. In the distance in the picture the port city of Elwynor was going about their day. Normal routines of the coastal city; fishermen were tending to their nets on their boat; the market place was at a roar from merchants yelling their bargains…just a normal day for those living. A rush of wind flipped the pages forward from the two heartless at play.
If Wysteron could conquer the port city it would mean a heavy blow to the resistance. The dragon roared his battle cry and took to the skies. The rallied army charged the gates of the walled port city. The guards were overwhelmed and fell back to the towers and streets. Wysteron made his appearance and dived from the clouds. His talons pierced the clay shingles of a tower as he landed. The tower cracked and leaned to the side and sent bricks falling down to the people below. He flapped his wings and the tower fell onto the street and killed innocent people below. People ran through the streets. Some hid in their houses only to be slaughtered moments later by the advancing orcs. Others made haste to the boats of the port screaming in panic to get out to sea away from the port. The fishermen did their best to ferry away some of the crowd. The trade vessels helped out too. Out at sea the people watched as the port city burned and a black dragon rose from the flames and took to the skies once again to hide in the clouds.
"Before your worlds come to an end, all will feel my wrath."

Virule groaned and rubbed the back of his head as he sat up. Ugh. Damn it Fae. Glancing at the book to his side, the violent Guild member picked it up, rose to his feet, and threw it as hard as he could at Mathis' head. "Keep your damn pet under control Mathis or I'll cleave the little ******** in two next time!" Walking over to Fae, Virule grabbed her by the back of her neck, lifted her off the ground, and turned her to face him. "And you! I told you to behave yourself! Not run around playing tag with that stupid dog! I'm confining you to the room, then I'm getting myself some ******** lunch."
Glancing at the Rabid Dog Heartless, Virule walked over, picked it up by its tail, and flung it hard as he could at Mathis' face, just as he did with the book from earlier. "Mathis, because you and your damn Heartless caused this mess, I'm leaving you to clean up after him! Next time, do something to keep the little s**t under control or I'm killing it." And with that, Virule stormed out of the library, carrying Fae to his room where he locked in her before making his way to the dining hall to get himself some lunch.
