History: Darrian was born a healthy child to the owners' of the Celadon City Game Corner. As such, many people knew that he was bound to do something to stand out, much like the family business. While he did strive every day to be the center of attention, it wasn't always in the best of ways. Most of his antics involved large scale pranks, because as daily mantra, Go Big or Go Home. However, during one of his jokes, he found a strange obsession with magic and the bizarre. From then on, Darrian studied daily the greatest magicians know to mankind, aspiring to recreate and improve their performances. His parents, on the other hand, refused to allow their child to branch away from the family business. And thus, Darrian resorted to using the alleyways in the fair city to practice magic; with the audience being any stray pokemon that happened to be around. One day, while he had given the greatest performance he could muster, Darrian saw that there was no crowd that day...save a single Absol. It was just sitting there, a glisten in its eye, amazed by the show it had just seen. Darrian couldn't help but jump down from his "stage" and bond with the pokemon. When he brought the Absol back with him to his home, Darrian found his parents waiting at the door. After a bit of tear-filled congratulations, Darrian learned that his parents had seen the whole show from their window. Darrian's parents had no choice but to support the young man's dream, allowing him to venture forth into the world.
Personality: Like the two sides of a coin, Darrian has two distinct "masks" for his mood. The first, and most commonly seen, is his peaceful nature. On most instances, Darrian is a very well mannered, easy going, slightly lazy magician. He tends to avoid confrontations by all means and at any cost. However, He loves a good adventure or possible entertaining task. His second nature is his "beast", his "black mask", his colder side. Brought on from the flight or fight response, Darrian switches attitudes in time of crisis. When the situation occurs, Darrian becomes cold to almost everyone, save his own team. He will do any and everything to complete the task at hand and maintain survival
