Backstory and begining plot

As if they were gods, Winglies ruled over all living creatures and used them as slaves. The enslaved suffered a terrible domination. Justice and anger turned in to a flame of fury and a gust of wind blew throughout the lands, spreading the flame in to a blazing fire. The wind was Emperor Diaz. Seven incarnations of dragons served the emperor. Their bravery inspired people to take up arms. Thus began the dragon campaign. It was a harsh war. Both humans and Winglies suffered injuries and fatalities. After a long period of suffering, it was the humans that acquired the future. And the age of humans had begun

That was the story that they told of how the land of Endiness became free of the Winglies. The incarnations of dragons, or the Dragoons as they were more commonly called, were the heroes of that war. But, the war took a large toll on them. For many dragoons lost their lives to free the land from the Winglies and few were left after that. And so, believing that the threat of the Winglies was gone, the dragoons faded into the shadows of legends.
But the threat was not gone. A small hand full of Winglies survived. And as the years passed they plotted once more to gain what they lost. For their greatest weapon was not destroyed in the war. The dragoons did not have the power to completely rid the world of it. So they sealed its body into the moon and its spirit into a human. Though the spirit was in this person, it had no sway over them. And so the spirit passed from mother to daughter as the years went by. Until the Winglie by the name of Loyd found the vassal that held the spirit of the weapon. Her name was Shana.
She was then taken to Hellena Prison. But, to her good fortune, her childhood friend, Dart, returned from his failed journey to find the “black monster” that had destroyed his home town of Seles. Once he learned of her capture, he set out to save her. Not knowing that he would soon be on a journey to save the land from the Winglies and that he would become a dragoon.
He saved her from Hellena and was soon dragged into the war that the country was now in. Along the way he made many enemies and friends. He soon found himself leading a group of people that were to become the next generation of dragoons.
Their venture took them across the continent as they strove to find out the truth behind the Winglies. But soon the truth found its way to them as the Winglies were able to capture Shana and use her to force the moon to fall from the sky and merge with its soul. With the fate of the world at stake, Dart led the group to fight the monster that was now awakening. In the end, he was able to save Shana. But it cost the lives of two dragoons and close friends.
With the threat gone, Dart and Shana returned home and were soon married. The land was a peace once more, the dragoons were back in numbers again, and Dart was now their leader. All seemed to be right in the world. But it was not to be.
For only a few years later, Shana became pregnant. The two were so happy about it. But as it neared time for the birth, there were complications. In the end, Shana did not have the strength to survive the ordeal. The reason for the complications was the baby. For Dart had become so intertwined with the dragoon part of him that it had affected his DNA. The baby was part human and part dragon. When Dart leaned of his wife’s death, he locked himself away from the world. Knowing that Dart would not be able to handle the child in his state, the dragoons sent the baby to a temple to be raised until Dart was ready to handle it.
But he kept himself locked away for three weeks. The dragoons thought that he would never recover from it. But then he called together all of the dragoons. They thought that he had recovered from his grief and needed them for some reason. But they were wrong. For in his grief, Dart had gone mad. He blamed the dragoons for the death of his wife and planned to take vengeance. With the dragoons being unaware of his madness, they came to see him.
In one great attack, he took out over half of the dragoons. His power had grown far beyond theirs and it seemed that there was no hope. But in a last ditch effort, the dragoons distracted as one of their own pulled the dragon spirit from his body. What they saw after that was quite horrifying. Dart was part dragon. Being such a powerful dragoon had manipulated his body. But now he was weak and the dragoons moved in to kill him.
But they could not do it. So, they sealed away his powers and imprisoned him deep within a mountain. And once again, the dragoons faded into legends. Now another threat seeks to set the world ablaze. With the threat growing, the next generation of dragoons must rise to meet it.

It has been 2000 years since the land of Endiness last saw true peace. with the fall of the dragoons, the land slowly slipped into constant conflict. Though the conflict has died down in the years that passed, it is still a small but, festering part of the world. Now a new conflict is beginning to rise. Creatures that have long lived in solitude are being seen out in the open. The elves seem to sense a dreaded turn in the world. Sandra and Soludio are on the brink of all out war. The orcs have been seen migrating east and out of the desert. Whispers of the dead walking the earth come from across the eastern marshes of Virgil. If ever the world were to be in chaos, it is now. But, a small glimmer of hope remains. As a few young people are about to have their lives changed and their names, forever etched in the stone of history. Legends return from the grave to aid Endiness in its deepest hour of need.

In a horrible catastrophe, the dragoons Disappeared from the world. Many believed that they were all killed off by some secret enemy. War, death, and evil has begun to spring up in the land. But the dragoons are not completely gone. The last dragoon is now on his death bed and he can feel the coming of a great evil. In a box under his bed there are seven surviving dragon spirits. Each of witch seems to have a reaction to one of the children that have been coming to him to listen to his stories about the dragoons. Years pass and the children grow into young adults. Feeling the end upon him, he calls for them to come to his house for one last story. and though they have grown apart now, they respect his request and come together for a story that they will soon take part in.
