 Ka had traveled deeper into the herd lands, still searching for friends. He was alone and he didn't quite like that feeling. He wanted a companion or two after all it was hard to have a conversation with yourself. He had passed a few bayrel but none seemed to want to stay with him as a companion. A flock of sairys in a tree intrigued him but they flew away when he placed his hooves upon the bark of their perch. He sighed and moved on. Perhaps he would have to go home. There he had friends, but he was so sure that there was something out here for him.

 Today was just one of many days of restlessness for Isabelle, she couldn't seem to move enough. It was always like this for her though, she always felt the need to go other places and see more things. Trotting through a small grove of trees that stood in the middle of a vast plain, she stopped to admire some of the foliage. It wasn't any she had seen before, it shouldn't surprise Isa since many different plants grew all over the island, but it captured her attention for more than something of that kind normally would. Now, feeling restless again, she trotted out of the trees, her tail raised and blowing behind her as she ran blindly through the plain. She knew inwardly that this wasn't a smart idea, but sometimes she couldn't help herself and had to just run.

Ka had just moved near to the top of a hill when a black mare blew past him like the hounds of hell were at her heals.
"Wow! Hey! Whats going on? Are you being chased?" his ears were perked up and he was alert for any sign of danger. He hadn't had a good scrap with anybody since he left home and was more then willing to come to the ladies defense. He hoped it was someone worth fighting too. That would really get his blood boiling. His nostrils flared with excitement and he quivered where he stood.

Hearing the faint sound of a voice calling out to her, Isabelle slid to a stop. She hadn't noticed anybody during her blind run so she turned around to see a curious looking Azrein shouting out to her. Barely catching words like "wow" and "chased" she stared at him with her head cocked to the side. "I-I'm sorry? What was that?" His flared nostrils and attentive ears alerted her and made her wonder who this stallion was. Now noticing these few things, she was on edge, ready to run again at any moment. "But what fun would that be..." She scolded herself in her mind.

"Who are you running from? Do you need assistance. I could pummel them for you." He said. He was all fired up and ready to go. Her adversary would go home with a huge pile of bruises. Ka snorted proudly. Nobody messed with him and got away without at least a scratch. The mare looked to be on edge, no doubt an enemy stallion would come charging up that hill at any moment.

"Who am I running from? I'm not running from anyone, though I might be soon if I don't find out why one lone stallion is out in the field all alone." Isabelle said defiantly, her head held high and proud. "Can one not simply run for the love of running?" She asked him, he seemed sort of strange, but she could not decipher what the kind of strangeness was.

Ka stood stunned. "You are not running from someone? There is no one to trample then?" He visible got less fluffy, having puffed up at the first sign of danger. He shook his head. "Ah well, I tried." He stuck his head down to graze a bit. "So where do you run to at night?"

"I just run where ever I feel like at the time. Sometimes north, sometimes east. It just depends on the night." Isabelle said happily. She pranced around, always feeling the restlessness that seemed to reside in her bones. "Fancy a run with me?" She offered.

"Sure! I miss having company to run with. We used to flow over the land in huge azrein tides. It will be good to run with someone again." He snorted his exubereance and reared a bit. "Lets Go!!!!" He took off the the direction she was pointing.
It had been so long since he had run with another horse, he had forgotten what it was like when two hearts beat as one with their hoofsteps. It was always and would ever be a truly magickal experience.

Startled by the stallion's sudden take off, she herself ran to try to catch up the him. Lucky for her, she was light weight and her muscles were used to such running so she caught up to him quickly. "Oh how much fun it would be to run with so many azrein! I'm sure that was a sight to see!" Not even breathless, she tried to hold a conversation. Not many would agree to a run with a complete stranger.

Once they had leveled out he easily fell in with the steady rythym. It was a special joy to run like this with another. It soothed his misbegotten soul it did. "It was a special thing when we ran but it was when we would stop,and the arguing began ugh. Well that was what got old fast. Although I was descently high up in my herd being scouted by 3 different mothers as a mate for their daughters in one day finally cracked my resolve to stay there."
