"Well I can control the mind reading now. What makes you think your mind and thoughts would intrigue me?" She teased, laughing a bit under her breath.
"Is the mark from being an incubus? Or is it like a birth mark?"
Curiosity edged her voice as she too, took off her goggles and stood up, keeping herself balanced with one hand on the dirty table.

Penelope got his hint and nodded, reminding herself not to ask anymore questions about the mark.
"Oh."
She looked at the sheet of paper that had their assignment, and sighed. Why couldn't there have already been a teacher, or a simpler assignment, or even chemicals already in the class?
"So...What are we going to do about the assignment?"

Penelope nodded. There was nothing for them to do. What made the most sense was to leave, but where would they leave to?
"Where do you want to go?"
Penelope asked, curious as to what he'd say.

Penelope thought for a second. She hadn't been anymore much, only in her dorm and the cafe. But she'd heard about a park close to the edge of the city.
"What about the lake?"
She shrugged, playing with the string hanging off of her shirt.
