"Well it's quite nice to meet you," she replied. After a moment, she added, "Sorry for my abrupt enterance a moment ago."

Kaira smiled kindly. "It's quite alright...." She said. "How did you come upon us anyway? Where you just walking through the forest?" Kaira asked.

Amayeta's heart skipped a beat before she realized it was just an honest question. "Yes, in fact, I was. My house isn't far. I was taking a walk."

Kaira nodded and smiled. "Okay...I was just wondering." Kaira said. "Do you walk through the forest often?" Kaira asked.

She smiled at Kaira. "Quite often actually. It's like my home away from home. In fact, I bought my house just so I could be closer to this forest. Of course, I have heard many urban legends of this forest, but I have seen nothing out of the ordinary much." She added the last part in with the shrug of her shoulders, her long black hair swished out of them and fell behind her back. "What brings you out here this time of year? Usually tourists don't take hikes around this time of the year."

Kaira smiled and nodded, then she chuckled. "Oh, I'm not a tourist." She said happily. "I just came down from those mountains...." Kaira points to a large snowy mountain. "To get more supplies."

127devany127 Amayeta nodded. "Oh, so you reside on the mountain. I heard the view is just gorgeous up there!" She wrapped her arms over her chest, it was getting cooler outside. Before long, she would have to go back inside her house and out of the cooler night air.

Kaira smiled and nodded. "It is...very. That's why I like it so much. And it's cold, and it's solitary....I'm not really a city person..." Kaira said happily. The cold wind didn't even bother Kaira. It just passed over her pale skin as if it were a summer breeze.

She agreed kindly, "I'm not a city person either. I love all of the wildlife of the forest, I feel connected to them..." she paused and took a deep breath, then resumed, "I feel that everybody has an afinity towards something. Mine is the forest." There was more meaning to her words than she realized after she had said them, but she hoped Kaira didn't truely understand what exactly she was talking about when she said 'afinity.'

Kaira smiled kindly and nodded. "I guess so..." Kaira said. A pleasant cool breeze brushed over the two girls and Kaira smiled. "I guess mine would have to be the cold....." Just talking about it made her smile. Kaira's fingertips glowed a cool ice blue in reaction to the cold weather.

Amayeta pretended not to notice Kaira's small reaction to her words. Instead, she said, "Are you going to join me?" She turned halfway, referring that she was going to walk back towards her home.

Kaira smiled and nodded. She walked in sync with Amayeta. "Sure..." She said. "This is very kind of you Amayeta..." Kaira said softly. Kai jumped up into Kaira's arms as she walked.

Smiling, Amayeta led the way back to her house. As she unlocked the front door, she asked, "Would you like some tea and something to eat?" She pushed the door to reveal her large front room- animals skins hung on the walls. On the right, there was a roaring fire inside the fireplace. In front of it sat two armchairs and a small table between them; a bear skin rug lay in the middle. The back wall had a huge, drapeless window, with a plush window seat under it, showing the forest beyond. Many books shelves were on the left-hand wall with a desk resting in the middle of the room. She added in, "Oh, your cat is welcome inside as well. I adore animals and would hate for her to be kept outside waiting for you."
