Levi took some time to check up on their treehouse. She and Holly had made it quite the project and worked long hours getting the structure up to look like something of a secret hideaway hut. It proved to withstand the daily wear and tear of the forest surrounding Breck's shed which certainly spoke of their abilities when they went after something as a team.

Holly was also the brain to her brawn while they slinked through the trials of the haunted house together. She hadn't seen the ghost fox ghoul since. Was she okay? Bounding up the branches, watching for the few traps they'd been able to set up already, she heard the purr of a familiar mini.

Aye, Critter. Whistling a short note, the octopussy sprang down onto her shoulders with tentacles wrapping about her arms, nuzzling her face to face. Good work, Critter. Been quiet 'out 'ere? Had anyone been here while they were away? ... seen Holly? She rubbed a finger under the chin of the mini, not really expecting any sort of answer. But she certainly wondered.

Holly needed some well deserved down time since that darn trip and all that other stuff since then. She'd barely even been to the treehouse since that trip! Well that wasn't that long ago though but darn classes and homework just kept them busy. Not to mention all that crap about Red. She would have gone to the NAP room to hang out but she'd ran into a certain boil there before and she did not want to see him at this moment. She needed some ghoul time. And by ghoul time she was thinking trickery.

Speaking of trickery, how had she not run into Levi at all since the trip? Holly had been concerned for the other ghoul after watching her disappear during that fight. She knew she was okay though. Especially since she knew everyone else was alive. More or less alive. The tree house was the most likely place to find her and she needed to check up on it anyway.

She heard a voice as she approached the treehouse. Of course the other ghoul was there! Holly started up the tree. Well as high as she could get before she needed the hidden ladder. "Levi, you here?" Well she knew the answer already but it was best to ask.

A rustling in the brush above would reveal the face of the tatzel meeting with Holly just at the foot of the hidden ladder level. Smiling bright at the ghost fox with a dangling Critter at her shoulders, wriggling tentacles idly, Levi immediately moved to let down the ladder rather than wait for the secret latch to be used.

Levi would've jumped down to bring Holly up herself, but the other ghoul wasn't the sort to want to be carried ... or at least that was the sort of respect the white-haired ghoul figured Holly would appreciate. Holly wouldn't need to be carried; she was a rough ghoul too.

Well ain't 'cha a sight fer sore eyes! Holly! No, her eyes weren't really sore... but the country ghoul knew that phrasing was supposed to mean something along the lines of missed seeing you around! Which she did.

Standing clear of the top of the ladder, Levi swayed her tail, waiting for her lost friend to head up.

With not much else to do since she was currently sitting on a branch, Holly waved to Levi and Critter. Good to see the pets they left out here were still doing just fine too. "Thanks!' Having Levi undo the ladder from above was much easier than having to find the secret latch. That latch was a pain to get too but hey, it did keep it a secret!

Holly was indeed capable of getting herself up and down the tree. Sure the occasional help was good but how else was she going to get better at all the climbing without the practice. It did done on her that in her natural form she could probably make it up the tree no problem but then there was the trouble of turning back to a student form. Yeah, this was easier for now. "Good to see ya too Levi, that trip was ... hectic." To say the least.

She made it up the ladder pretty quickly and was soon standing on the platform with Levi. "This place is doing pretty good out here, isn't it." Really not much of a question since they both knew the answer but still. "How've ya been since the trip?" Good to see she was alive since the last she saw of her friend was her disappearing into that fire.

Hectic was a good word for it. Yeah, I'll say. Peering about when Holly pointed out the scene, Levi nodded in agreement. They obviously knew how to spot a good hiding place when they saw one. Yeah, didn't see it from tha outside any, so I guess it's holdin' up good n' hidden. Doesn't look ta have any signs 'a traps used 'er nothin' so... nobodies been up 'ere till now.

The woods had a pleasant silence to them with the occasional creature making a sound and the rustling of trees resonating. There was a slight bordering ledge along the edges of the treehouse platform outlining a patio parameter. Taking a seat with her back against this fencing, she propped her knees up, resting her forearms on them. Her tail curled at her side, allowing for Holly to sit by her if she chose to do so. Critter squirmed a bit, decidedly crawling up a wood ban ester on the fencing and keeping a good latch with all eight tentacles.

The trip ... how had she been since... Really thought fer a minute ya'll were kiddin' 'bout tha whole death thing. When we were in tha pink room n' all ... I remember thinkin' ... can't be true. This? This is gonna kill me? Yeah, that room was seriously disturbing, but if that was the best the house had, she failed to see the deadly threat in it. Certainly wasn't thinkin' a no humans comin' 'round...

Holly nodded. She'd noticed that the traps hadn't been touched. She had to avoid some on her way up so that was a good sign. Unless someone followed them they wouldn't know where to look at all. Perfect. "Yeah, does look pretty good doesn't it." The pets were here too so again, good. She looked around and saw the Bake come up to her and rub against her leg. The ghoul bent down and pet the cat for a moment.

Getting back up she noticed that Levi had taken a seat. Holly went and joined her to sit on the patio. She let her legs hand over the edge. She'd been pretty sure that her friends weren't dead during the trip. They didn't die on the island so how could her friends die. It worked like that right? Really though, she was glad Levi hadn't died. "Those hunter things were humans then right? Where did they even come from." Well obviously they were in the human world but the school, didn't they know if there would be humans around? "What was being dead there like. I could tell ya about mine if you want."

Holly hadn't been in the canyon at that time... the time the hunters first came at them with nets. And Red... Red fought with the hunter leader. Her ears flickered down for a split second before pointing back up when she looks straight into Holly. Humans. Don't... don't know. Could'a been? Ain't never seen none before. You... you ever seen one? Maybe there would be a connection they could make between the hunters she saw and the humans?

The subject of death came up and Levi at least knew ghosts went through a death. She supposed if it was okay to discuss it with anyone, it would be someone she she knew also experienced death. Even if she didn't recall it; Levi took in a deep breath and exhaled heavily before starting. Happened real quick. I 'mean- She had turned that time to see why West had yelled and it was the last scene she recalled before being sent elsewhere.

-wasn't an time ta move 'er nothin'. Didn't feel thing. Just blacked out. When I 'came to, there were'a bunch'a those...er mold mallows 'round. At the mention of the floating blobs of potential mold, Levi leaned in to holly to sort of whisper it secretly despite where they were. It wasn't her favorite subject to get into considering that one blob that had continuously tried to infect her. Until the punted it to the ceiling with as much satisfaction as a well grilled bacon-wrapped steak.
