Here's the preface for my book: The wailing, whining wind howled viciously; the very sound of it made the trees shudder, although it was hard to see because they were being pushed and shoved around like ragdolls in the wind. The wind tossed bins around, scattering litter everywhere and plucked leaves off their very branches and blew them away, losing them into the night. Windows shook, bins fell and doors creaked open, but only to slam shut again. It was a wind like no other; it seemed to have a mind of its own. Opinions?

I had to read the first sentence over to understand what it says. Maybe a little revising of words? But otherwise it's beautiful!!

There they stand. They watch us with their lusting eyes. Oh if they could grab us. They try to reach but the wall, the watery wall fights them. watch them turn thier heads to a passerby. Oh how they long. But they are dead and we are still here. It is sad for them but we must forget.
