That didn't seem to go as well as they had hoped Prancer thought to himself, ears twitching before laying back against his head. He had hoped that they would do a bit better or get a bit more of an applause but it seemed that it wasn't meant to be so. He looked between the other singers a moment before watching as Vixen called out to others to join, snagged himself another mare to add to their group, and then called out the name of the next song they would be doing. Another one, huh? He found himself wondering, the slightest look of amusement appearing on his face, if Vixen meant to add a new mare to the group of singers every time they started a new song. Somehow... somehow he could almost see it. He just hoped that it was only for caroling reasons and that his fellow Lossen didn't meant to disappear with all of his herd of mares once the singing was done with, "T-Think he will m-manage t-to get n-new mare p-per song?" He whispered to Dasher, curious if he'd thought the same thing that Prancer had.
As the song began he spotted another familiar set of antlers in the crowd, knowing them to belong to Cupid, and he lifted a hand to give the heart marked Lossen a wave before turning his full attention to the song, singing it will all his heart, trying to keep himself from faltering despite the fact that it was a lot faster then the last song. He'd continue to try his best though, enjoying being among his fellow Lossen. A little further into the song and then he saw yet another of their number, this time the smaller Rudolph and he lifted his hands again to give a wave to him as well, finding it a touch difficult to concentrate on the song it would seem as more and more of their number started to appear.
Ears twitching, tail swishing, he reminded himself that they were trying to entertain and that he really shouldn't be waving at everyone walked through the door just because he knew them. Alright, concentrate for the rest of the song, Prancer, then you can say 'hello' provided that they got close enough to do so of course. He wasn't really the calling out across the room sort of stallion after all. Instead he was the sort who preferred to trot over to someone he knew and greet them more quietly, as he'd done with Dasher and then then same with Vixen when he had joined them.

Cupid smiled lightly as Prancer waved at him, he would have waved back but he was going to let them finish up the song, hopefully Vixen won't keep adding to the list of carols he had already sung, these kind of celebrations were for mingling, meeting friends and having fun. He shook his head lightly, it would disappoint him if that was all he was going to do and on top of that they would have to save their energy for working later. He flicked his tail to and fro idly as he listened.
He glanced behind him and noticed Rudolph had come in behind him, he moved to beside the younger Lossen " hey rudolph, how's it going?" He asked it was a good way to do something while waiting for the caroling to end. He wondered if their voices were getting tired or getting dry from all the singing. He was pretty sure they could use a break, but Vixen wanted to continue and he shook his head as he got more mares to join him.

 ☸ Vixen ☸
Vixen finished the song a bit less enthused than he had been. The crowd had tolerated the singign but it was obvious that they were not, for the most part, entertained. Though this though disheartened Vixen for a moment, it was only a moment and soon passed with nothing but an expression of marred dispair before his grin was in its place, hiding the disappointment of himself and fellow Lossen. They would all be together it seemed---as the rest of the crew joined the tower's festivities. The crowd had grown whilst he sang, fellow Lossen nearby he began to hint at a bit of bashfulness and hoped Cupid would not give him much grief for having a good time.
"Thanks for the song ladies, " he spoke wrapping an arm about each one and pulling the two closed for a hug and a his on each mare's hand. Vixen was, for the most part cordial and even mildly well mannered. He imagined this would drop Prancer's jaw to the floor.
With the song's end the group seemed to disperse, at any rate Vixen did not have much interest in continuing down the path of auditory failure.
For the most part Vixen did not greet his fellow reindeer mates, he simply nodded their direction a curt greeting indicating his friendship and moving along. His antlers shook heavily on his head as he winked at Prancer and Cupid before he finally calmed and returned his attentions to the females nearby...
Willow and Carol he admired both, loving the ribbons of carol's petite form and Carol's scarf hanging delicately about her neck and almost over her chest. The two had his full attention at the time.

"I am good. What about you, Cupid?" The half Lossen asked, looking around the room as he spoke. Vixen and his group had just finished their song, so he was sure they would be heading over to Cupid and him at any moment. He could hear the broken chatter of several groups as he stood next to Vixen and couldn't help but wish that he knew more people. It seemed like it would be a lot more fun if he knew more than just his fellow Lossen. Vixen definitely seemed to be enjoying the company of the two mares near him.
"I'm very sorry the song didn't end up how we wanted it," Willow apologized softly, looking up at Vixen. "I'm not exactly the best of singers."
The autumn colored mare blushed as she looked around, unsure of what else to say. She had pretty much intruded on their little singing group, and now that it was over she didn't know what to do. She didn't even know the names of most of them.

Cupid glanced over at Vixen, Dasher and Prancer as their song came to the end he was trying so hard not to laugh at the fact that they completely failed. He cleared his throat and glanced at the younger half lossen "well, that is good to hear. As for how I'am doing, very well." he answered before speaking up again " shall we go bother the rest?" he asked gesturing to his fellow lossens who seemed to scattered about the mearhs present. He was pretty sure the group would have better luck if they sung their own song. Instead of other carols, then again singing their song would make it so interesting. All 8 saying their names when it came to it, but then Rudolph would be the center of ridicule..so that was probably not the best idea.
He flicked his tail to and fro idly as his gold bells chimed softly, as he moved around. At least he wasn't going back to ridiculing the younger half lossen, it just seemed mean and uncivilized. He quietly watched and wondered if the rest of the team would come over and say hi.

Rudolph nodded and hesitantly followed after Cupid, ducking and dodging people as he walked by. There were so many people at the party, yet he was still able to pick out his Lossen companions. Having antlers did have its plus sides, although getting them stuck in things was always a hassle. He had gotten his stuck in a chandelier at one point an it had not been pretty. He would've been stuck there forever if it hadn't been for the others helping him.

Cupid quietly weaved through the crowd of people, slow enough so that Rudolph would be able to keep up with him. He nodded politely to those who looked at him as he walked by. His gold bells on the harness chiming softly as he walked. He paused to check that Rudolph had kept up with him. He ducked and dodged objects that his antlers would get stuck on. After a few mintues of weaving through the crowd he had finally reached Dasher,Prancer and Vixen.
He shook his head at Vixen, who had two mares on his arms before bowing towards them "Hello ladies,I'm hoping my friend Vixen here is treating you well" he said to them politely. He then glanced at Vixen" normally, one would let them go mingle and find them later" he put in. He then glanced at Dasher and Prancer "ah..hello my dear friends Dasher and Prancer" he put in politely.

((Chestnut roasting! Hellz yeah! 8D))
Well, so much for a festive and rousing carol, but at least they had sounded.....a bit better that time? In spite of the disappointment, Carol couldn't hide the small smile of amusement breaking out on her face. At least they were brave enough to sing! She could tell from the look on some of the faces of the audience that they probably wouldn't have done much better had they been the ones up here singing. Whether they had sounded good or not, it was still a nice memory to have, singing with the Lossen; the first truly happy memory she had had in a long time during the season.
She cleared her throat before managing a small bow to Vixen once the hug was over. "Thank you very much for the song, and especially for the memory. I know I'm far from the best singer, but should you wish to try again later tonight, I'll be happy to try it again."
After waiting for a little while and seeing that everyone else was perfectly content to sled down the hill without a race, Dancer decided he was getting a bit too cold and decided to replace the sled and go inside. He could hear a few snatches of singing as he approached the door, and he grinned cheekily. At least one of those could only be his fellow Lossen; he recognized the baritones, even if the notes were somewhat off. He also picked up some soprano, and wondered how many mares they had roped into signing with them. If he had known, he would have certainly joined in all the fun!
Savoring the warmth that flooded over him and melted the last few flakes of snow still sticking to his fur, Dancer looked around at all of the familiar faces. It looked as though a lot more Lossen had joined the fun! He even spotted a smaller figure with a rather inverted stance that could only be Rudolph. He wrinkled his nose; he wasn't always sure what to think of that particular fellow. Oh he seemed nice enough, but Dancer had his doubts about how much of a contribution the pointedly smaller half-Lossen could make to their team. Of course everyone had to start somewhere, but the timing was plain awful. Dancer shrugged his shoulders in a no-matter way; it was a party! No sense in bringing it up now and planting seeds of doubt as to whether or not the Big Run would get done.
He walked toward where the rest of the Lossen were congregating, his eyes suddenly averting to land on a concession stand where bags of chestnuts were being piled up for roasting. His eyes lit up; THAT sounded fun, and yummy! He knew what he would do after he was through greeting his fellows; time to roast some chestnuts! Maybe some of them would even join him in a roast. With that, he continued walking until he was in front of the group. "Hey, glad you all could make it! Everyone having a good time?" He couldn't help but chuckle at a certain trio. "Besides Vixen, that is?"
