For I am Shadowfoot the Ghost Cat... My days as Cloudheart the Blind are o v e r ... Cloudheart's mind was racing. He had to get out of here. He had to get out of here NOW. Quickly, he pushed Featherstone off him. Gentle enough not to hurt her, but forceful enough to give him a chance at escaping. He scrambled to his feet frantically and dashed off, narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with a tree. ... For a Ghost Cat does not need his e y e s ...

For I am Shadowfoot the Ghost Cat... My days as Cloudheart the Blind are o v e r ... Cloudheart skidded to a halt, hearing Featherstone land in front of him. He couldn't see, which was a disadvantage, but his other senses were only stronger because of that, so thank goodness he heard her land, otherwise they would have collided. He wanted to get away, he needed to. He couldn't stay, he couldn't go back to the clan. He couldn't let all of his and Duskfeather's hard works go to waste! It would all be fore nothing if he went back. "I-I can't go back.I can't stay. A blind warrior is of no use to the clan..."... For a Ghost Cat does not need his e y e s ...

Featherstone Warrior of Thunderclan --I still miss you, Cloudheart.-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Featherstone watched for his next move. When she heard him say that, she frowned. "You are not useless! Clearly you have a good head on your shoulders, because for moons I--one of your closest friends, mind you--have thought you were dead." She paused, looking at him. "If you won't come back, then I'll come with you," she decided, looking and sounding quite determined.

For I am Shadowfoot the Ghost Cat... My days as Cloudheart the Blind are o v e r ... He didn't say anything, just sat down as he contemplated his next move. His tail swished back and forth slowly, a sign of careful thought. He was calculating how he was going to get out of this, though it would seem like he was considering the options given. So, he decided to be blunt. It wasn't exactly in his nature, but he felt it necessary. "... I'm not going back with you, and you aren't coming back with me."... Featherstone Warrior of Thunderclan --I still miss you, Cloudheart.-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Featherstone flicked her tail, as if flinching about the response. "Wait... what?" She cocked her head slightly, then brought it back straight and looked at Cloudheart, oozing anger. "But... I don't want to lose you again," she mewed softly, barely audible.

For I am Shadowfoot the Ghost Cat... My days as Cloudheart the Blind are o v e r ... Cloudheart sighed quietly. In all honesty, he was happy to see her again, but the life of a Loner was tough, and he didn't want to put Featherstone through it. "No one can know I'm alive, or all my hard work will go to waste. I left the clan, Featherstone, and I don't want to go back... And the clan needs you more than I do..."... For a Ghost Cat does not need his e y e s ...

Featherstone Warrior of Thunderclan --I still miss you, Cloudheart.-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Featherstone was appalled. She shifted her paws, looking down at the grass beneath her paws. "I need you," she said. "We can get away, leave this area together... we could make it," she suggested.

For I am Shadowfoot the Ghost Cat... My days as Cloudheart the Blind are o v e r ... Again, Cloudheart sighed quietly and slowly stood. He said nothing as he turned and began walking away silently. After a few steps he paused and turned his head back towards Featherstone. "The life of a Loner is rough. Living in a clan is much easier, are you sure you want to abandon it all? Your friends, clanmates, family?" Cloudheart turned to face ahead of him once more and continued walking. ... For a Ghost Cat does not need his e y e s ...

Featherstone Warrior of Thunderclan --I still miss you, Cloudheart.-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Featherstone frowned softly, and stood, walking next to Cloudheart. She honestly didn't want to leave the clan life, but she didn't want to lose Cloudheart again. "Would you stay?" she asked. "You know, if I stay in the clan, and you stay as a loner? We could meet up every day..." she suggested, trying to compromise.
