Sample RP

“Cale, must you bring them home, screw them, and then piss them off?” he asked in an almost angry manner, although his tone held none of the anger it should.

“Oh, please, William. What are you, my mother now?” Cale asked, flipping a stay lock of his dual colored hair over his shoulder. His chest was bare, showing off well defined muscles, although still keeping to the slim side. His black jeans were only zipped up halfway, indicating he hadn’t been dressed in them long. The snap was still undone. William rolled his eyes, almost sighing in defeat.

“No, I’m not, thank god. I’m your cousin. I’d hate to be your mother, even if it would get me millions of dollars to be the first man to have a baby.” Cale rolled his eyes and came over beside his cousin.

At first glance, one would never tell that outgoing Cale O'Connell was related to the ever reclusive William Everview, who’s paintings made more money than Picasso or Van Gogh could ever make. Such scenes of human suffering and other such happenings of human life had seemed to score big for the twisted society of today. People didn’t want soft and pretty paintings any more.

Give them blood and gore and they would fight to own it. Give them tragedy and death and they would flock to it. Give them horror and abomination and the news was sure to cover it. It was a well known fact that the youth of today was so desensitized that nothing fazed them any more. Drugs, sex, and video games all went together hand-in-hand. Almost nothing was too big for people to attempt. So why not have paintings that showed the dark side of humanity as well?

William didn’t draw paintings like that because he liked the idea, though. It wasn’t in his best frame of mind at all, in fact. He was a prodigy in art. Anything he drew became instantly sale worthy. His art teachers had always claimed that he could sell a painting even if it was of a picture of a phone book. Yet William really had no conscious thoughts when he painted.

His hands would take over and the picture would slowly take shape before him. Every detail perfectly marked. No stone left unturned. No matter how gruesome the subject was, it would appear before his eyes. Yet William had come to realize that art was not imitating life. His art was life itself. Twenty four hours after he managed to sell a painting, which was usually only twenty four hours from the time he painted it, the scene on the painting would happen somewhere, usually someplace close to where they lived. In the glorious city of Los Angeles in the beautiful state of California, nothing was as it seemed.

“Ha-ha, that was so funny I forgot to laugh,” Cale murmured.
