I love sharing foods with my birds. smile It's so fun to watch them try new things.
The budgies like most anything that can be hung in their cage, and shredded carrots. Their curiosity gets the better of them, and they can't help but taste it.
The finches are a little more picky, and all I can think of right now is shredded carrots. But that's okay. It's still fun to watch them surround the dish looking at it and daring each other to try a piece.
But our cockatiel.. he'll eat most anything I'm eating. Provided it's safe for him to eat. Yesterday he helped me eat some cake (very small amount), then today he helped me eat a french fry (that was baked, no seasonings), and we just finished eating a banana together. He also loves anything green (he even tried to eat my pet mantis!), and enjoys baby corn. He's become a little more brave about eating off the fork, but he still won't go near a spoon.
What about your birds? heart

kage no neko NETGEAR Biscuits, fruits and chicken bones. Chicken bones? Ground up, or...? No it's the drum stick bone just that, it's for the cockatoos, they like the blood inside. They can easily bite through bones. (cooked)

I feed mine nutriberries (the ones intended for meal purposes, not just the snack ones), which they really like, as well as birdie mixes (which generally have finely chopped veggies and pasta in them). Squirrel, though... is tough. I've had him almost a year and a half, and he's very persistent about not eating veggies. And he always wants things like pizza and bread when I have them (I won't give him pizza, but will occasionally give him little bits of whole grain bread - very occasionally.) He's very persnickety about not eating his veggies. The closest thing to a veggie that he'll eat is plain popcorn. XD
The budgies are pretty good about eating veggies and whatnot now, though.

I'm still active but I rarely post to the forums any more.
However, now that I am here:
My Amazon eats nearly everything. His favourites are carrots, apple, cashews, pasta, corn, potato and blueberries. He's never been fond of citrus though. Or tomatoes, for that matter.
His main diet is Tropimix but he simply refuses to eat the raisins or chickpeas in it. ( Not that I blame him, chickpeas are disgusting) Nutriberries and Avicakes are a nice treat.
