Sky lay on the floor then looked at the small creature. Nothing was working on this thing, and he was getting tired. Sooner or later the thing would have to crack a smile!

Scooping up Goblin, Kinkade moved towards the sad little creature and kneeled down, putting Goblin almost nose-to-nose with him.
"Say you'll be his friend. Maybe he doesn't speak like I do."
He gave Goblin a little nudge, and timidly, Goblin fidgeted as be began to speak his nonsense in a very soft voice.
Meanwhile, Kinkade turned to Sky, raising both brows.
"Seems like today isn't your day, huh?" He asked with a little smile. "Are you all right?"

Sky laughed as he looked over to Kinkade. Indeed this day wasn't his luckiest, but he would try to turn that around. The poor Mushroom thing didn't have any good days, by the looks of it. It was so sad and nothing anyone did cheered it up. It just stood there all sad and confused.
"I'm fine. I'll change that, I'll make sure I don't hurt myself again."
He smirked as he walked up to Goblin. With a smile he reached into his pocket and pulled out a berry he had found.
"Goblin, tell him I'll give him this if he becomes happy . . ."

Kinkade gave Sky a consoling pat on his shoulder, hoping Sky had no more electricity running through his body. Frankly, he didn't want a nice shock either.
"Well, here's hoping. That didn't look too comfortable."
Goblin, on th other hand, feeling quite purposeful, took the berry and had to restrain himself from eating it. He instead held it out to the little gray guy, cocked his head to one side, and began another series of nonsense words.

Sky laughed as he looked around at everyone. Maybe the small thing couldn't laugh or smile. Was it doomed to always be a sad little fellow?
"Yeah."
He smiled as he watched Goblin say something that sounded really odd. Nonsense it was.
"You can have the berry Goblin."
"Are you a girl Mushroom?"

The jump was surprising to Puffy, and cought him off guard and was injured slightly. No one could notice it since the crying of the mushroom was loud.
All the talking was distracting and Mullan could hardly think on how to shut up the mushroom. Then over all the crying it cmae to him finally, waddleing over to the mushroom, "Do you wnat to pet Puffy, if you shut up I will let you!" Hoping it would owkr, he made Puffy come near.

Sky was just about ready to give up. Nothing was working . . . and most of these things were funny. A normal person or thing would have laughed and been happy. But, no this Mushroom was being stuborn.

"Great, Sky is being a idiot," Mullan thought to himsle,f not letting it get out to Sky.
The option of petting Puffy wasn't appealing to the creature so he took Puffy away, and stole something from Sky, his idea.
Mullan jumped onto Puffy and raised his arm and slapped Sky right across the face. "Did that make you happy?"

Sky laughed. The little baby was trying to hurt him. In fact though, that was really funny. Why didn't the thing get happy? Dumb thing.
He lifted his wand, then sent a bolt of electricity through Mullan.
"How about that?"

[[Fear my awesome skills.]] Sky almost fainted when he heard the strangest sound. Well it must have been more crying from the poor thing. He would have thought the last shock would have made it laugh. Wait, the sound was a bit like a laugh.
He turned around to see that the Mushroom had laughed.
". . ."
He fainted.
