To start this guild off right we need a big tournament consisting of as many pro racers as we can get. The tournament date is yet to be set but I'm hoping to have it take place either late August or September. The prize is also to be discussed among anyone who would like to chip in for a prize.If funds cannot be gathered in time then the tournament will either have to be prizeless with just bragging rights won and the winners name added to the list of champions or have a buy-in prize for all participants and 100% of the money collected will go directly to the prizes.
A poll will be set above for any and all participants to vote on whether they want the tourney to be prizeless (just for fun/JFF) or a very low pay in price for each racer and all the pay in funds will go towards the tourney prize.

Hm, I want to save as much gold as I can for any big tournaments that I have in mind for the future but I think you should host a tournament that has an entry fee for all of the participants. Nothin' too large, probably 5k-10k entry fee or whatever you decide to do.

Yea I was thinking along the lines of 5k since even our newest of newer racers can come across 5k. The problem is that if we only end up with 10 participants then the tournament prize will only be 50k which I'll try to add to make atleast 100k for these small tourneys which i guess ill make by playing tons of BG or vending in advance. But it sounds like a a lot of work just to break even.
But getting to the point, I will try to spread the word that every month or so I will try to host a 10 participant / 5k Buy-in / 100k prize. It may not sound like much but for people to be making 100k a month in a few minutes on top of what they make already isn't bad. And besides these tournaments there will still be other tournaments from other guilds taking place.

Thats a good idea, I think you should make the entry fee 10k for better prize overall. I can help with the funds on that one maybe. By the way, when is this tournament going to be open for sign ups?

Well first I have to change the name of the guild and forums etc etc.... then I will continue working on the forums so that they aren't and do not become a mess. After that is when I will begin working on the tournaments themselves.
