Your character is a member of a vicious mafia that deals in a variety of things. In particular, your section specializes in pirated software, games, music, and movies- among other miscellaneous things, before they're released. This particular mafia is based in Hokukyo, Japan. (This is a made-up location. For more information, scroll down.)

Your character's possible objectives are:
(a) to obtain unreleased material from the factories and present it to others during meetings (Hokukyo)
(b) to oversee manufacture of pirated material in this mafia's own factories (Hokukyo)
(c) to operate as a spy in gaming/music/film/etc corporations (Tokyo)
(d) something you come up with that I've approved.

The roleplay will center around the meetings people in this crooked business must attend. Other posts in which a meeting is not in session will revolve around your activities fulfilling your objective.

☆Hokukyo & the World

A decade ago, Japan was suddenly overtaken by a quadrillionaire with mercenaries. The rest of the world sprang into action, however only managed to take back the northernmost and the southernmost islands- Hokkaido and the Okinawan archipelago.

A new city developed in the northernmost part of Hokkaido, flooded with Japanese fleeing from the dictatorship, which was in its early stages at the time. The UN Security Council gave Russia and the United States territorial ownership over the free island and Okinawa. Combined military forces operated at the base of Hokkaido, protecting the rest of the island and straining to find a weakness in the dictator's defense.

The city that developed quickly in the very north became known as Hokukyo. It sprung forth as a manufacturing area, ripe with factories and plants. As the number of Japanese refugees escaping from the rest of Japan dwindled, Chinese, Russian, and Korean immigrants seeking work quickly entered.

A dangerous combination of Chinese triads and Russian mafias tainted the new city almost immediately. They mixed and mingled with the few Yakuza, creating something new.

At the same time, Japan's dictator enforced isolation onto the main island and the nearby islands. Games, anime, movies, music-- all of that and more stopped flowing to the rest of the world. Viewing a ripe opportunity, the new combination mob in Hokukyo sought to pirate and replicate those intellectual properties, to sell them to the vibrant worldwide market.

• To appease the people of Japan and prevent them from becoming too unhappy, the dictator has completely resumed, if not increased, the amount of entertainment material.
  
• Getting in and out of Japan is tough. This is where most difficulty will present itself to spies. This is why security is necessary.
  
• Mister Oozu is your boss. He is the highest-ranking person you know.

However, this rp will not tolerate sexual themes or gore. Violence is tolerated. Be sure whatever violence you include, if any, that it makes sense and isn't random and for the sake of violence.

Additional Rules:

• No powers or magic is permitted.

• No character may be particularly rich, or wealthier than Mister Oozu. You are in the Mafia, you're not a(n) heir/heiress.
  
• Please refrain from having characters that have naturally green hair or naturally orange eyes. Your characters may have the weirdest hair/eye color(s), but such must be accomplished by dying and contacts.

Physical Description: Albino. White hair, colorless eyes. Susceptible to sunburn in strong light. Sickly: asthmatic and diabetic. 5 feet tall. Cheekbone-length straight hair. Usually dresses in a white business suit with a black tie, or a light gray business suit with a black tie. Wears slippers instead of regular shoes unless seriousness is going down. He is in his mid 30s.
Personality Description: Secretive and domineering. Coldly polite to everyone. Loves sweets, but can't have any, so he regards them as enemies.
Anything Else: The reason Mister Oozu is at such a high rank at a younger age than usual is because his father is a big boss, and his mother was big in the Russian mafia prior to marrying his father. He dislikes violence.

Physical Description: Average height: about 5' 5". She's disheveled, and harbors that careless right-out-of-bed appearance. Choppy, chin-length platinum blond hair and chesnut brown eyes outlined with distinct insomniac bags (all that digital monitor gazing). She dresses somewhat grungy and punkish, more for comfortability than fashion. She's young, in her mid-twenties.
Personality Description: Somewhat demanding and saucy, most definitely strong-willed and opinionated, however, she stays quiet and unsociable, keeping her habitual sailor's mouth at bay. Lives off of prepackaged foods and junk. Always has some kind of digital device within reach.

Personality Description: Earlier in life, she battled with a crippling addiction to several dangerous narcotics. Although now clean, she is weary when drugs are mentioned. She is aggressive about her past. Usually she is cheerful and polite, taking cracks at people for the fun of it.
