Dhavlen knew he was arrogant and he didn't even bother to hide the fact. It had been some time since he got together with Lee. She was in fact becoming his perfect female. Before leaving she asked permission to leave. This was the first time she had ever done that. Normally she would sneak away while he was busy doing something. He grinned at the fact that he was able to tame such a wild flower. It gave him hope of someday starting his own little harem.

He wished he could go back to sleep, but the fact that Lee was finally his just made him swell up with glee. That wild dog Mirie thought that Lee's spirit wouldn't break for love but it did and now she was his lovely mate. He couldn't wait to tell his friends the news. His two leopards were always interested in hearing about Leenah, though he always scolded them when they would lust after her. They should understand that she is his and they must never lay a paw on her.

Today, while she was out, he thought that maybe he could spend the day hunting down another female which he could call his own. He would love if she was another species, especially a lioness. He had always been drawn to their larger bodies, though it was always a bit tougher to convince them to be with him. They tended to be more high spirited than others.

He was about to leave the den when he heard footsteps outside. Instead of facing who ever was out there, Dhavlen thought it better to stay hidden.

The walk back to the den was peaceful, well it could have been if Lee had taken her time. She thought that she would have to hurry and get back to Puteri before she grew impatient. Even for a cheetah Lee was running fast. She was running faster than she had ever ran before. Her thoughts were on Dhalven and his reaction to her waking him up again. Once he knew why though he would forgive her. He never stayed mad at her for too long.

Leenah was out of breath when she arrived back at the den. She peered into the den and saw Dhavlen there, looking like he was waiting for her. She was a bit surprised that he had gotten up. Normally he would sleep until midday. It was nice to see him up at a normal time, she had to admit. "Mister Dhavlen, I wanted to get your permission to go on a little adventure with my new friend Puteri."

Dhavlen stared at Lee with a mix of emotions. He was glad that she was asking permission, but he was also pissed that she did not return with a meal. "I haven't meet this Puteri. What is she like?" He made sure to put emphases on the word she. Lee had confused him before with Mirie. He was under the impression that Mirie was a beautiful feline, but ended up being a male wild dog. He still felt sick when ever he thought about it.

If this Puteri was a girl it would be easier to trick her into staying with them if she was already Lee's friend. He would love to have another female and there was plenty of room for her. It was hard to hold back his excitement. He did not want Lee to know how much this pleased him.

"She is very sweet, I think. She is a leopardess who wants me to go on an adventure with her." Lee explained. She hoped Dhavlen would be okay with it. If there were two of them together they should be all right. She couldn't imagine them getting into any trouble by themselves.

"Well Lee because you have been so good I think I will let you go. However in return I would like you and your new friend to come back to me after your adventure so we can have a nice dinner together. I think that would be fun for all of us." He said with a playful grin. He had a hard time keeping the grin, with all the devious thoughts that were running threw his head.

"Really Mister Dhalven? Thank you so much!" She was happier than she had been in months. "I'll find you something delicious to eat! I am sure Puteri would love to come eat here too!"

"I do hope so my love. Now you should scurry off. You don't want Puteri to wait too long. It would be awfully rude of you." He said to her. She nodded and left the den. Silence entered the den once more. Dhavlen went to his corner of the den and sat down. It was hard to believe that he was about to go chase after some females. Why hadn't he thought about sending Leenah to fetch them instead. She was willing to do what ever he wanted.

He wondered what this beautiful Puteri looked like. Leopardess always pleased him. He loved their tails and how soft they were. He knew that if he added any more females that he would have to have lee dig their den bigger. Good thing she loved to dig, he thought with a laugh.

Now that he didn't have to chase after females he wondered what he could do with his day. It had been some time since he actually left the den just to have a walk. Normally he would find someone to harass. He grinned to himself. There must be someone who needs their day ruined. With a new found energy Dhavlen left the den and searched for someone he could harass.

Lee ran back to the lake. She took a moment to get a sip of water. Running was defiantly draining her energy. She looked carefully at the trees she had to go to. A light pink pelt was seen at a distance. Lee grinned, she was glad that her new friend waited for her. After taking one more gulp of water, Lee continued on her way to the trees.
