 Amelia the Claymore
No one makes my destiny... Amelia wasn't sure what to think of the instructor. He seemed very...direct. He did not appear to be the type who pulled punches or sugar coated a situation. Amelia had the feeling that he would deliver information directly and swiftly, in a way that would not fail to teach the lot of them. She liked that. She had experienced the "real world" when she was but a child. She knew the horrors it could bring. She quickly popped the pill, relaxing a bit as she felt the power silenced. While a part of her yearned for it again, the sane part of her rejoiced that she was still human and not one of those disgusting creatures. She silently stood and followed the teacher out the door, giving Heather a small smile.I don't care what I have to do...
I'll stand on my own two feet!

 Mayu
Mayu obeyed the teacher's order, and started to chew the pill as she got up. Mayu gathered her stuff and turned to follow but stumbled over her chair. Mayu face became a bit flustered but she stood back up and walked towards the door following the others to their destination.

The flashes of days in caves and watching others die, for their bodies couldn't handle the yoma that was added in. It still haunted the half yoma to watch one of the girls, she considered a friend, to die in the cave right next to her. Those days were behind her now, but she had the lingering still attacking her every now and then. Standing in front of the entrance a sigh fell from her lips as she entered. "Here we go." Making her way through the entrance, Ava took the direction that was told to her to reach her classroom. Taking her time she sorted out all of her thoughts along the way. The door was before her. Taking in a breathe her pale hand reached for the knob and turned it. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Thus, everyone’s task is as unique as is his specific opportunity to implement it.” – Viktor Frank

Thesenis≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ Thesenis' form loomed behind Ava as she turned the doorknob to the classroom. He stood nearly two full feet taller than her and soundlessly placed a hand on her head before the door opened, "Looks like there wasn't just one tardy student," he said. He scanned her briefly and noted the anxiety and longing that hung around her like a light mist, but his eyes betrayed no sympathy and remained as dark as softly burning coals. Placing a hand on the door he pushed it open and passed by the small trainee like a wraith, "Come inside, I'll handle your first classes because of your tardiness," he emphasized the last word, planning on pushing her buttons to test her.
Scowling for a moment he swept up the few remaining candies and pill-halves that Kaer'Lic had left. Their leader had known how many others they were expecting and Thesenis knew Kaer'Lic's usual lessons, but he had other plans for the late ones. Standing at the podium in the front of the classroom he remained silent for a second, waiting for Ava, "Although the class has moved on, I will hold a class for you for the time being." He motioned to the desk directly in front of him and dropped a single candy on it, although the wrapping was plain compared to the pretty ones from before, "My name is Thesenis. Although I used to have another name and family those have since left me behind and now I raise and watch over the warriors and you trainees as the occasion determines," he introduced himself, then looked directly at Ava, "Now you."≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ Duty: Rabona Enforcer

All she could see was a tall grim looking man. The touch on her head made her feel intimidated, since she was a small half yoma. Feeling her heart thumping against her rib cage she didn't process the fact that she was late. Quietly she only said a few words, "My apologies." As Thesenis passed by her it hit her that her timing to class was off. The trainee couldn't decide on whether or not to be upset or boil with anger, and the fact of him rubbing it in was not helping. Though this was not the time to let her emotions course through her veins. Ava had to focus now.
Pausing before taking her seat, she gave a look of questioning to her teacher. Sitting down she picked up the candy and inspected it. Not coming up with any information her attention turned back towards Thesenis, asking for her to introduce herself. Clearing her throat she spoke firmly and looked directly in his eyes, "My name is Ava. My only family is dead. Now I live here with others training to become what humans call a claymore." It felt odd to say human she noticed. But that didn't matter now. She was in school to learn to be a warrior. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Thus, everyone’s task is as unique as is his specific opportunity to implement it.” – Viktor Frank

Thesenis≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ "Mmm..." Thesenis gave an approving nod, thinking it ironic that the Organization was more or less a home for the homeless. "As you are aware, as a warrior called a 'Claymore' you have certain abilities above the common folk which are plagued by Yoma and that very power that Yoma have over humans you have over Yoma- should you be trained properly. Your past some months in the complex's lower caves should have taught you, however, that this power is not to be taken lightly, nor is it a kind, gentle power. It is the same as Yoma: bloodthirsty, ravenous, and cruel; it will consume you if you do not control it. Should you release too much of your Yoki, you will lose control and become a Yoma yourself to be hunted down by the other warriors and cast by the wayside like so much trash." He leaned forward and pointed to the candy, but his eyes remained fixed on Ava's, "My test is different from Kaer'Lic's. In his class you would have merely felt your power release and simply had to crush that with force of will, but in mine will also announce your presence to all who can sense Yoki. If you don't want the numbered warriors in the complex to think you are losing control you'll need to fight both the release and hide your energy. Now, take this candy and test yourself," he said grimly. The candy's effect were not quite as dire as he explained, but it should be slightly challenging to balance the two effects before Thesenis gave her the suppressant pill.≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ ∴ ⋅ ∴ ≠ Duty: Rabona Enforcer

“Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life… Therein he cannot be replaced, nor can his life be repeated.± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ι'м ƒєєℓιηg;; Confident, Focused ℓσ¢αтιση;; School, Thesenis' Class (σ)υт (σ)ƒ (¢)нσℓσ¢αтє;; Got a little carried away! xD ℜαᾔḱ;; Trainee Every word was recorded, if he had asked her to replay she wouldn't have any trouble repeating every single word. Taking in there meaning it became quiet serious. The once-somewhat-calm exterior of the room had dissipated just after the mentioning of the severe consequences of not being able to control and suppress one's yoki. The human part of her mind flashed moments of Claymores killing Yoma within seconds. The fate of her would be the same, she realized, if she failed. Ava decided that failing was not an option, she has survived this far, by the grace of her creator, and sheer luck. Her life would not end because of the silliness of not controlling her yoki. Though she hesitated.
Unwrapping the piece of candy, for a few seconds she inspected it more closely. The power behind this would be unknown until she eat it. Even if she was confident there was still fear of becoming the thing that took her whole family, and banished her from her village. Those things disgusted her to the very core of her being. And becoming one was a huge risk by taking this candy.
Not stalling any longer she looked her teacher directly in the eyes. "That will not happen. I have confidence I will not fail."
An instant later the candy was in her mouth and the taste of bitterness reached her tongue. It was unpleasant for a bit of time. Then gradually a tingling settled in her throat. A delightful sensation creeped over her body, it was life if someone took feathers and ran them along every inch of her body. Abruptly a fiery power burst within her. 'This feels so...good.' The eyes of Ava that had been a hauntingly silver were now wide and a bright gold. Her flesh cracked as it stretched over her growing muscles. Growling slipped through her throat as the Yoma part inside was comforted by this potential. 'So this is what it feels like...' The muscles in her face distorted into a hideous creature, her teeth were now sharp fangs, veins popped out along her body, and she shook vigorously. There was a sense of amazement that laid in her mind as she felt the power of the Yoma.
However, this feeling of endearment would have to come to an end. Regardless of her physical appearance and how pleasurable the release of her yoki was, it was time to fixate on the goal of handling her yoki power then hiding it from others senses. Closing her eyes she searched within to find a way to tighten the reigns of this dreadful power. Searching quickly she noted her other half was starting to overwhelm her. 'You will NOT win!' Only by sheer determination to not let it win, did she discover the ability to control it. Once the ability was gained Ava began to reverse the physical effects. Opening her golden eyes, slowly her extremely frightening looks started to vanish. Only her golden eyes were left. Next was to grasp the skill to suppress. Again her eye closed and she searched. This was more challenging while controlling it at the same time. However it was not in her will to fail.
Ava found herself staring directly at Thesenis as she struggled to keep control and suppress her yoki. A vein in her head popped up as she forced herself to keep it all together. Breathing evenly she held to her words. Though it felt like she was being tormented she didn't brush it off and cave in to one of her thoughts of begging Thesenis to stop this. Her breathing started to shorten to gasps. Parts of her feared to fail and be beheadded, but she didn't give in, Ava just kept fighting these feelings of losing. However long he wanted her to fight she would with no regrets. 'Ava don't fail!' Her sisters voices echoed in her head. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± Thus, everyone’s task is as unique as is his specific opportunity to implement it.” – Viktor Frank
