Geass Balance:
The Geass system is very delicate. Only a certain amount of people may have a Geass at any given time. A balance must be maintained, meaning that if too many people already have a Geass, you may not receive one.
How To Receive:
A contract must be formed with a Geass witch/wizard. The Geass witch/wizard must find someone worthy of receiving the Geass. A contract is the formed, and if the human accepts, they can receive a Geass which is compatible to their personality. The Geass witch/wizard can put anything in the contract. If the witch or wizard say, 'You must love me, and you will receive a Geass', the contractee must fall in love with the witch or wizard. When/if they do, they receive a Geass.
Starting with a Geass:
This refers to the first paragraph. It's actually harder to receive a Geass in this form. By putting in an interaction with a Geass witch/wizard in your profile's past, you have about a 50% chance of actually receiving the Geass. If too many people already have a Geass, the profile may need to remove the Geass to get approved. If it does get approved, good job. By putting the Geass in your profile, assuming it does get approved, the user who made the profile bypasses the Geass Approval Forum, due to the fact that if the Geass is overpowered, the profile that contained it would not be approved in the first place.
Receiving a Geass in an RP:
Assuming a character meets a Geass witch/wizard in an RP, and said witch finds the character suitable for a contract, they may receive a Geass, assuming they fulfill the contract's requirements. The Geass witches/wizards are controlled by Mods. In some situations, getting a Geass in an RP is easier than starting out with a Geass, seeing how if the Geass witch/wizard offers a contract to a user, the user has a 100% chance of receiving a Geass. Before the user can put the Geass in his or her profile, they must put it in the Geass Approval Forum. If the Geass is approved, the Geass can be put in the user's profile.
Advantages of This System:
With this system, the number of people with Geass it limited. The maximum number of people with Geass rises with the number of members their are. So, if their are 100 members, a small percentage of that 100 will have a Geass. Geass is rare, so if you cannot start out with a Geass due to too many people having a Geass, or because you are not offered a contract, please do not be angry. Geass isn't everything. Their are still military ranks/affiliations that a user can join.
