Rachel looked at the island, the storm that was ravaging the small island didn't seem natural. She was unclear as to why it seemed as such, but something made her feel uneasy about it. She turned to look at Jonathan, and her pendant began to shake softly. She sighed and muttered to herself, "that storm is not natural, there is no way it will subside..." She grumbled softly and knew she had to tell Jonathan.

She walked up to Jonathan, "There is something wrong with that storm..." she said softly, "I am not sure as to why, but that sandstorm is not natural," she looked back to the island. "Waiting will get us nowhere, we will have to take a large risk and venture to the island despite the storm or it's intensity," Rachel sighed, "So what is your order Captain?"

"Under Katherine's command," the Englishman commented to his Second-In-Command, in the same soft voice she used, as to not arouse the crew of their fears, "that would have been the reasonable course of action to take. But blindly charging into head-first into danger without proper preparation is not something I take a liking to.." In truth, he did fear the situation. Jonathan feared what could not be explained or controlled. All he could do was alleviate the danger through well-thought contingencies.

"Order the men to make cloaks and other protective gear out of our spare canvas supplies," Jonathan continued in a more firm voice. "The landing party still needs to be adequately protected from sandstorms. Supernatural or otherwise." The Captain started stroking his chin in thought. His thoughts were simultaneously in contempt of the situation before him on the island and amused at the new stubble he found growing from days of not proper shaving. "We will give the makeshift tailors a few hours before we disembark."

Rachel nodded to Jonathan. She was a bit more used to the impulsive style of captaining that Katherine brought, but she did believe that protection from the blowing sand was a good idea. She walked a short distance from Jonathan, noticing a fair number of crewmen on the deck.

She wondered if any of them knew anything about working with fabric. Probably not... But she had an order to relay, so she began to yell, "All hands on deck!" she pointed at the Sandstorm Island, "anyone who will volunteer to join the landing party to go to that island is to go and obtain cloaks and other protection from the spare canvas!" she coughed softly, "anyone who has skills with fabric, you are to to assist in making the protective gear!"

After her announcement, she began on her way to the supplies. Knowing that Jonathan was unlikely to join the landing party, she would go with them in an attempt to keep some order within the landing party.

Upon hearing the order, Shun let out a sigh before nodding and moving over to the nearest of the ship to see if he could see what was happening on this they had just anchored at. When he saw the raging sands in the about, he muttered a curse under his breath.

It would certainly explain why they needed cloaks or other protective wear, so he quickly hurried to see what he could use to protect himself against the weather outside. He had never experienced a sandstorm, but he could only imagine that it wasn't an easy or a pleasant thing to be in.

Cosette has been lost in thought as her eyes had settled on the island in the distance. Something within her stirred and knotted her stomach, she was scared but also very thrilled with the prospect of adventure at the same time. All in all it was an odd sensation for the woman and she jumped as Rachel's voice snapped her back to the present situation.

The young woman gave a curt nod. She had a little experiance with needle and thread, as with most house hold chores. A light smile crossed her face as with a sprint she crossed the deck to begin lending her aid. Finaly something she could help out with that would be of use! Suddenly the french woman didnt feel quite so useless and out of place.
