Those who watch their backs meet death from the front.

After convincing Brera in the training grounds that she was here on behalf of a recently retired general, she made her way to the palace under the cover of night. She came across one of the higher walls and sighed, Can't go in the front, might as well use the side she thought to herself. As she got close to the wall, she waited for the two chatting guards to return to their post.

After a few moments of listening to their idle chatter, she fixed her bracers and took a few deep breaths. With one quick jump, her hands almost lit up from the flames she produced. Using the flames to propel herself up and over the wall, she landed quietly in the palace garden. She looked up briefly at the moonlight, trying to figure out which wall she should stick to.

beginning to hear voices, she quickly and quietly got out of the garden and began to head for the archives in the palace.

Hearing footsteps behind her, she quickly turned a corner and hugged the wall. She watched as the queen walked past. As she waited for the steps to fade she took a deep breath and left it out slowly. A few moments later, She emerged from the corner and stayed in the shadows, Making her way to the entry hall to the archives.
