what happens if you defeat the end boss?

When you kill the end boss, you receive between 29k-35k, sometimes more, sometimes less. Afterward, you'll end up in the bar in Barton Town, where you'll get congratulatory speeches. *Once you beat EB four times, you'll receive a recipe for the Sinister Scarf which was about 100k in the Market Place last time I checked. ****Make sure you go through the speeches to receive this recipe but for the other three times you beat EB you'll get assorted fluffs, which aren't worth too much I suppose.
Though I've beat EB many a' times and still haven't gotten all the fluffs, some people are just glitched, lol.

I'm still new to ZOMG. I only heard of two rings that we can purchase through Gaia gold so far. Any tips on how to quickly progress throughout the game?

trying to do the quests not like other players just go fight but
do the quest there steady income of orbs and rings
and make sure the monesters you have to fight are green colored or set your lvl to the same lvl of the monster or 0.5 max above it

You can also buy Double Orb which is an item that allows you to earn double the orbs you normally would. I believe it's around 50k but it's worth it because the sooner you lvl up, the more money you can make. And the rings aren't really worth buying because as you progress, you'll get all of them randomly and sometimes more than one. You can salvage any ring you have double of and that will give you orbs too. ^^
