“To be in love is merely to be in a state of perpetual anesthesia - to mistake an ordinary young woman for a goddess.” - Henry Louis Mencken → Ͼαɨɾɨsʈɨσлα ϺҁӃαץ ← н є ϲ α ҭ є ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
My pencil was tapping up and down against the desk top, most likely annoying more than a few people in the same room. I was gently biting my tongue at the same time, my eyes squinted in concentration. 'Gah... Social Studies. I hate Social Studies! Haaaate!' I thought desperately, pouting while scanning my test paper. 'This is hopeless!' I concluded, throwing my pencil down on my desk. I crossed my arms, now taking a glance outside the window. It was sunny, and the breeze was flipping around tree leaves, seemingly making them sparkle. I became entranced by the sight for a few minutes, then sighed. A smile formed on my lips. "Twenty more minutes..." I said very quietly, referring to the end of the class, and to the start of lunch. I thought about how everyone else--my good ol' buddies--might be feeling right now. Lane, Yumi, Lala, Shin, and Leron... I knew some of them enjoyed their classes, while some others might be feeling the same as me; impatient.
I licked my lips, putting my crossed arms on the top of my desk. I laid my head on them, though I wasn't sleepy to begin with. My thoughts drifted, mostly to what I'd be doing after school. Since it was a Friday--thank goodness!--, I had soccer practice at lunch, much to my delight. Well, not exactly normal practice, since the annual sports festival was right after lunch! I'd naturally been pretty good on my feet, thus why I enjoyed the sport I participated in so much. This train of thought somehow led to thinking about.. well... my uncanny abilities. Seeing ghosts, mainly. I found it funny sometimes about how easily I talked to the things. Heck, I'd have conversations with them at some intervals. The randomness going through my head made me laugh inwardly, bringing me back to the classroom from dreamland. I blinked, then glared at my paper. Oh... how I hated Social Studies.
My eyes found other students around the room, most of them finished. I only had one question left, which was better than some people, I suppose. Either way, I couldn't remember for the life of me what the capital of Madagascar was! Why, for the love of the Gods, would a person in Japan need to know stuff like this? I had no clue. I closed my eyes, shifting up, and laid my cheek on my hand. Fifteen more minutes...
"Alright, everyone should be done by now." My eyelids shot open, and I almost fell sideways, out of my chair. Quickly regaining my composure, I stared at the teacher at the front of the room. 'What?!' My head darted from side to side, eventually facing towards my paper. I snatched up my pencil, seeing the teacher stand up in the corner of my eye. Luckily, my seat was basically at the back, giving me some time. My hand was shaking pointlessly, and I was biting my lip. "Capital of Madagascar... Capital of Madagascaaaaaar..." I whispered, suddenly wishing I was good at the stupid subject. 'Oh, wait...! It's...'
"B!" I shouted, throwing my hand up in the air. I smiled, and circled the second choice on the test. I froze then, lifting my head up. My smile faded away in an instant, seeing many... many eyes boring into me. I dropped my pencil with a 'click,' and sat up straight. I looked at the teacher, who wore an expression of confusion and annoyance. I laughed nervously. "S-sorry..." I muttered to the class, handing my paper to the S.S. teacher. I breathed out heavily, placing my hand over my eyes, wanting to avert attention. 'Nice going, Cai, nice going.'
Luckily, I was quite literally saved by the lunch bell. Without further adieu, everyone rushed out of the classroom, not caring anymore about what I had done beforehand. The small weight on my chest was lifted, and I stuffed my school supplies in my book bag. I swung it on and jolted out into the hallway before the teacher had a chance to lecture me. "Hah!" I breathed loudly, though it was not heard through the chatter of multiple people surrounding me. I started walking a bit faster, headed towards the girl's change room near the gym. I had my cleats and my soccer uniform in my bag, and bracelet with a key on it around my wrist. Remembering that small fact, I pulled the bracelet off, putting it in my bag with my soccer gear. I looked up, and put my hand out just in time to open the girl's change room door. 'Practice... and then it'll only be closer to the end of the day!'

♥✚♥ ✚✚ѦЯʟαȠӘღҒɵʈɪΛδΊϛ✚✚ ♥✚♥ ♥♥“And now abide faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. ”♥♥✚♂♀x『Goddess of Love~Lust~Beauty』x♂♀✚ ┏━━━━━━━━━┓
"Ғotiadis, Fotiadis—!” Vanessa’s mocking voice fills my ears. I inwardly snigger. Math is always the worst, but with V in the same class, it’s pleasurable—the taunting, I mean. Though to be perfectly honest, I would prefer being able to chat with my pals—Leron, Cai, Lala, Shin… Yumi.
Twirling my red, shoulder length hair with two of my fingers—a ‘habit’ of mine—I shift my body to the other side of my desk to bring my attention to Mark. “Which one do you need help with?”
“Question two, A,” he replies with a shy smile pasted on his face. I return his grin with my own and proceed to help him, leaning in close to tease Vanessa (who was on the other side of me) for the billionth time. I could hear her scowl; she knows me so well, but not enough. Not enough to know that this gal right here can manipulate the feelings of others.
Once I finish attempting to explain the question to Mark, I turn around to see Vanessa curling her hair with her two fingers, mocking my actions quite accurately with a look of disgust on her face. If she despises me this much, then why does she even bother sitting beside me?
“I’m flattered,” I say, smirking while resting my cheek on my right hand.
Vanessa rolls her eyes. “Yeah? Well, don’t take my mocking you as admiration of any sort, Fotiadis,” she practically spits, followed by a snort. This time I snigger out loud; it's funny being loathed when you're the goddess of love.
Righ then and there, to Vanessa's luck, the bell announcing lunch rang. My attention quickly averts to the class’ open door, revealing Yumi’s impatient face among the incoming flock of students. ‘Stop provoking her and get your lazy butt out here now’ is what her face reads, but my head is wondering how on earth Yumi was able to get out of class so fast. I'm not in a foul mood or planning to since my body and soul are pumped for my first annual Sports Festival that I'll attend. So what do I do? I instantly gather my belongings in one arm and my precious mirror in the other and go out to greet Yumi before she could scold me.
“Hey!” we greet one another at the same time. My body is starting to feel jittery due to excitement. “What’chu doing here?”
Yumi giggles lightly, replying, “I have no time to explain how, but ‘why’ is because I wanted to greet you best of luck for your Festival.”
“Even though it’s only somewhat practice right now, you’re too sweet, Yumi.” She has a smug look on her face as we share a quick laugh. “Wait,”—I gather my thoughts which turn into realization—“you’re not going to watch us fail or prevail?”
At my words, Yumi’s smile vanishes. “Um, I have a quick detention for ditching early, so—” She laughs nervously to finish off her sentence.
“Ah, so that’s how.” I nod, understanding her situation as Yumi mirrors me. "Well, at least that makes me feel all the more special."
“Ha, that's right—!" She playfully punches my arm, causing me to panic since I almost dropped my mirror. "Anyways, I’ll be rooting for you guys!” Yumi lightens up the atmosphere as she takes me in a tight hug. “Now let’s both get going and break a lot of legs.”
“It's what I do,” I joke as Yumi lets me go, winks, and—sadly, because I want to spend more time with her—begins to walk away while I advance to my destination: the girls changing room. I get there pretty fast without the need to speedwalk or push through groups of people, considering that Math is close to the changing room anyways. Now that I think about it, I remember our teacher once saying that ‘Math is a physical activity with the mind’, hence why the two rooms are near each other. Which I find rather silly. Really.
The room isn’t completely full yet, but there are some sounds of clothes ruffling and giggling females. I gently lay my stuff down at my spot near the door yet far from the little crowd when I see the door open. A happy grin forms on my face. Cai.

Footfalls. These were one of the very few things that could frighten a young thief like me to the point of shaking. Not that I was afraid, I assure you—it's just that the thought of me being caught gave me sporadic Parkinson's. Ha. Okay, that was certainly done in bad taste. I'm just one that loathes the thought of being inferior. Gods.
Despite this fear overwhelming me, I was still sitting safely in class and away from the sound of footfalls, except for the occasional student that went to sharpen a pencil or the teacher checking desks to see if we were doing our work. Both were harmless gestures. Anyhow, the wallet was in my jeans pocket, and they could only get to it if they strip searched me. Once I bought some food for Zoe, Deus and I, I would return it to the gym teacher's desk, no harm done. I slicked back my blond hair, removed my small pencil from behind my hair, held in place by a single lock, and went to scribble down the notes the teacher had written on the board. I was still angry about having been recommended by teachers for “idiot English”, as I called it, especially considering I was probably the only British born guy in the entire school. It was a bit of an insult. I guess I sometimes talked like I was some sort of hoodlum, as well as a said idiot, but they could at least respect the fact that it was my first language.
I sat next to the window in as many classes as possible in order to peek down at the track, where the girls during gym were usually doing their laps. Sweat isn't very attractive, though, and I would've preferred it if it was a view of the swimming pool, but you get what you “pay” for. Which in this case...was nothing. Hmph. Of course, no view could be as great as the view of Lane's....pretty face. Lane just happened to be one of my closest friends. She also just happened to be the nearly the cutest chick in the entire school. I looked back down at my paper, trying to make sense of what I had just been told. Something about something. I blinked twice, remembering a rather important event that was going to take place conveniently during the next class. Or lunch, rather. There was supposed to be some sort of soccer game—was track going to be there too? Aww, that meant I couldn't pig out! Not that the cafeteria food would be very good to pig out on, anyway. It'd probably give me a stomachache. But it would give me more of a chance to get to the coach's desk! No, forget it, I would have to be in the track meet if that was the case. Oh, crap. Well, my good mood of today was definitely beginning to turn around.
As soon as we were released from our prison that they dared to call a classroom, I shuffled down to where Zoe, one of my many idiotic friends, would be leaving class. Despite being athletic and fast, I had a tendency to trip over myself...constantly, thus I couldn't go as quickly as I would have liked. Once I made it to her class I had to take a quick turn around the corner, pretending that it was absolutely necessary that I was running in order to pass teachers, and grabbed onto her shoulder. She turned around, her bright eyes fluttering open. “Dude, is something wrong?” she asked in her typical English, something that made heads turn. “Did Deus elope and not tell me?” she added, flipping her tomboyish hairdo out of her eyes. She was currently wearing sunglasses, one side tinted more heavily than the other.
I was tired. I shouldn't have been—I was built as sturdy and as scrawny as a pipe, but her saying something like that made me feel as if I had raced my a** off over there for nothing. “Do we go to lunch now, or not?”
“I think we have to go to gym to change or something, oh, I don't know!” She shook her head, flustered. “Hey, Leron, listen to this: do you know that a duck's quack doesn't echo? Isn't that awesome? Quack! Quack! See, nothin'!” If we weren't already getting stared at, we were now. I shoved a side of my face into my palm, wondering how one being could manage to be so illogical. It must have been under very, very special circumstances. With that I took her by the arm and started heading towards the gym, knowing that if everyone else was heading there I was going to spend at least a few days in detention.
Zoe and I parted ways and there was only a tingle of regret that I had to let her go, but it left when she did series of cartwheels while sining, “Festival! Festival!” I sighed and turned my back on her. I could hear a thump as she hit against the door to the girls' changing room. “Ouch! I'm okay!” I could hear her as she resumed. “Festival~!!” I sighed and went inside, catching the eyes of some curious boys who had probably heard Zoe's racket.
“She is that stupid,” I mumbled.
This still was about the average level of suckiness. If I'd known a thing or two about the worst levels, I would've quite the game. And I probably would've quit with the stupid catchphrases.

The rustling of leaves was calming as my head lay in the grass, staring upward in a relaxed manner. Spots of sunlight protruded between the places where a leaf had just flicked away, and my eyes darted to each little ray of light which seemed to push others out of its way so it could warm the lush green below. My eyes eventually closed, having had enough of watching the light dance its way across the ground. I could still feel the slight breeze run its way over my face, not allowing me to fall into a mild sleep. The attempt of doing so went to waste, and I sighed in half content and half annoyance as my eyes reopened. For the moment, everything in the world seemed tranquil. Relaxed. Undisturbed.
A butterfly darted just above my line of vision. It looked as if it were a monarch-type, and that guess was proven since it was, indeed, June. Another figure swooped down towards it, beak open with a mild hunger. 'Oh, an eagle...' I smirked devilishly, knowing the fate of the insignificant bug. A quiet 'munch' was heard as the butterfly fell prey to the food chain, giving me a sort of insane delight. I sat up, startling the bird, as it had apparently not seen me laying on the earth. "Come here," I beckoned, and it hopped up onto my shoulder. "Would you do me a favour?" The eagle blinked, confused, though obviously understanding what I was saying. Zeus was represented by eagles, after all.
"There's a building to the south," I began, trying to be as vague as possible. "Many humans--probably smaller than me--will be there." It squawked, asking me to continue after a pause. "What I want you to do is survey the area for me. I want you to come find me if you see anything unusual--maybe strange lights or surges of power. Got it?" The bird started flapping it's wings in agreement, and I watched as it flew easily towards the other side of town. 'If there are any gods or goddesses at Zen Gakuen... you've come up with a brilliantly inconspicuous plan, Evan.' I smiled to myself, while slowly placing my head back down on the lush greenery. I had come to the conclusion that, if there were indeed any Gods or Goddesses in my current area of Japan, they would be young. The Gods weren't stupid--they wouldn't choose someone to inherit their powers that was nearly dying.
I heard some rustling from the grass a few feet behind me, so I bent my neck backwards with a quizzical look on my face. "Do you ever do anything yourself, Evan?" a boy with black hair asked. One of two, actually. This one's name was Kurai, the boy who had inherited the powers of Hades. I wouldn't say he was my subordinate out loud, but that was the way it was. He donned a displeased expression, but I could care less.
"No, not really," I admitted without hesitation. Either way, I quickly changed the subject. "When are you planning to transfer to Zen Gakuen?"
Kurai thought for a few moments before answering. "I'm... not sure. I heard they were having a Sports Festival today, so I thought I could blend in with the crowds. More than one school is attending, so I doubt anyone would pay me any mind."
"Well?" I responded shortly. The younger male raised an eyebrow at me in question of my thoughts. "Why aren't you there already?" He rolled his eyes, but heeded my "suggestion" anyway. As he began walking down the hill I laid upon, my eyes went back to the sky. There were hardly any clouds in sight, but I couldn't help snickering at the thought of bringing a sudden thunderstorm down upon the city. 'If need be...'

~ Goddess Of The Night ~☪ X є η ι α D e G я α и d e ❈╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮╰☆╮"Would It matter to me if something happened to you?...I dont know..." ۼږFinally, after all of the traveling, I was able to arrive at Zen Gakuen safely with no harm. Although a bit annoyed on how the students in the car were 'talking' about the sports festival. I was suppose to help set up during lunch time over at the school. Thankfully, I was saved from doing any work at Koeru High. "Hmm, maybe I should explore the school" I muttered to myself. Well, I thought to myself maybe I should, I'm still on campus so it shouldn't be a harm now right?
I began to step into the doors of Zen Gakuen. Once I actually have my whole body into the school. I felt a familiar aura, I ignored it anyway. As I continued to explore this school, I had totally forgotten about the Sports Festival. I Instead, ended up in the hallways of the school. The Familiar Aura was getting closer and once again I Ignored it. I began to think. Why am I here again? Oh Thats Right! The Sports Festival! I scurried back to the entrance of the school.
As I was scurrying back, They were already bringing things to the field. So I followed everyone and started to tell them where to put the tables and chairs for all of the contestants. The Student Council from all the other different school began to hurry so they can have their lunch also. Not before long, all of the set ups were finished. All that was left were the easy stuff. "Finally, I can rest, Just for a little bit." I murmured. From afar, Koeru High's Student council were in a group. "Xen,You don't mind helping us over here right?" A Girl with Brunette hair had asked me, This girl whose name was Kailey A.K.A. "Pearls" because of her accessories she wears had called to me. "Uh, sure I guess I can help out. What do you need?" I responded. Kailey bit her lip.
I could tell either something went wrong or she was scared to tell me. So then she replied, "Never mind!" and ran off to the crew. I sighed and began to take footsteps closer to the school.ۺ η γ χ

“Umm…” I whispered, trying to get someone’s attention. “Err…Hi…I’m….” I knew my words were almost inaudible, but for some reason my voice wouldn’t rise. After a few more tries, one of the secretaries finally glanced up and noticed me.
“Oh hi there, can I help you?” she asked politely. I smiled, relieved, and nodded.
My voice cooperated this time as I told her, “Yes, my name is Chiyu Lin and I’m supposed to be transferring today….” The lady studied me beneath her thick-rimmed glasses while appearing to think.
“Right, Chiyu Lin! Yes, you’re here, Lin-san.” She fumbled through a few papers in a file until seemingly finding what she’d been looking for. “Aha! There we go. If you could just sign here….” So I did, and handed the signed form back to her.
“Alright, Lin-san, you’ll be in 9th grade, class 1. Here is your schedule and a map of the school,” she said, handing me the two items, “and you can explore a bit during lunchtime. I’m sure you’ll fit in really soon.”
I nodded in response, gingerly accepting the map. “Thank you!” I bowed and left the office, heading down the first hallway I saw. Once there, I opened up the map and studied it carefully. I was fully aware that I had a terrible sense of direction, but I wasn’t going to let it ruin my first day of school.
“This is a pretty big place....” I mused aloud. It was true; Zen Gakuen had a fair amount of campus. Clearly, it wasn't a famous academy for nothing. For the next half an hour or so, I turned corners, asked for directions, and spoke to teachers on break about my transferring. Most of the teachers were nice, which was a huge relief to me.
After I got tired of this and successfully located my classes after lunch, I decided to go outside for a quick breath of fresh air. There was a soccer team gathering on the field, so I wandered over to watch.
A quick glance at my watch told me there was still a little over half an hour before my first afternoon class. I decided to stay and watch the game for a while to relax my brain; entering a new school meant that there were lots of new rules, locations and systems to learn.
[[ooc: Yikes, I really haven't been here in a long time. Sorry I'm so late.... Well, here's Chiyu's first post! I hope it fits in with everything so far. ^^; It's kind of, um, bad, since I wrote it a while ago =.=. Now for Ryouku.... I really need to get back on Gaia....]]

Just like a programmed robot, the first place I planned to go was to my regularly used P.E. locker. Ordinary, right? Of course, something pink caught my vision, hardly beyond my blind spot. Who else but one of my oldest friends? I immediately abandoned the slow stroll to my locker, and gave a big bear-glomp to Arlane Fotiadis. "Hi, friend of mine!" I greeted her, grinning and then letting her go after trying to squeeze her to death. "Well, hello there, my dear~!" she replied, mockingly yet, of course, jokingly. She was smiling just as I was, so confident in her well being, I went over to my less-than-preferably-sized locker and began changing. "The lunch bell has saved me from dying once again," I told her, sighing dramatically. "We had a Socials test just now, and I would rather have my head explode into confetti instead of having to remember what the capital of Madagascar was." "Lovely visual." "I know, right?" By now, I was pulling my soccer uniform shirt over my head. Some might even consider me a little too enthusiastic about playing the sport, but I would just laugh, admitting that their assumption of how much I love soccer was nothing in comparison to the real thing. My smile stretched as far as it could, though I felt a small tinge of guilt. My teacher probably had seen me rush out of the class, and, for some reason, they tend to be suspicious of stuff like that. I shifted a bit, pausing while tying my shoelaces. I sometimes thought of myself as a beaker of stress, ready to explode with just the right addition. But I wouldn't allow any exploding while at soccer practice, oh no. Especially today, since everyone had to have their A game--excuse the stupid title, there--on for the sports festival. Different schools would be here, whose students could be of much higher skill levels. That's why there's this nifty thing called confidence, though. The last touch for preparation involved tying my hair back into a high-ish ponytail, which I didn't think much of. All that mattered was convenience during the game. Seeing Lane had finished in a timely manner, as well, I gestured for her to walk with me out the door. "Any trouble from the big V today?" Lane rolled her eyes. "Ah, not any more than usual." "Indeed..." I dragged on, eyes glued on the field. Lush greenery--the best kind. On the bleachers were a few students, ready to watch the practice commence. I smiled again, cracking my knuckles the smallest bit. 'That soccer ball isn't gonna live very long.'

"You shouldn't fear me you know that?" ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± I was walking through the fields to check out the courses.I then came across a Female, A black hair color and Brownish eyes. I haven't noticed her before, Maybe she's a new girl? I thought to myself for a moment. She seemed pretty new, and I haven't seen her here before either. I also felt something familiar from her as well. I began to walk closer and closer. Hopefully making a successful approach.
I tapped her shoulder and with a smile I answered. "Hey!Don't you know being on the field while all the schools are still setting up are forbidden?" I gave her a look but then laughed. "Say, I'm Richie Asaishi,Have I met you before? You Seem New to this school. Need a Tour?"
"Because, I am known as the 'lame' one after all." [[OCC: I got pretty Lazy and decided to go for a Small post instead, This is the only half I did. So i just stuck with it, I was busy too. So -____ -]]

ɗɛʋʂ ɑɳɗ ʑσɛ гστɦ ɡɛɛ ɡɜɜ ɡɛɛ❝Zoe, are you pondering what I'm pondering?❞ ❝I think so, Deus, but if Leron's powers really do come from his pants then how is it that he beat you at strip poker by using his cards when he was on the biggest losing streak since Thermopylae..if you recall what I mean?❞ ❝No, Zoe, we're going to overpower the Gods and show them who is boss!❞ ❝That too.❞ɡɛɛ ɡɜɜ ɡɛɛ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Pain flickered through my mind, and although I could sense that it wasn't my own, it was still very discomforting. I clutched my head on impulse, allowing my mind to fall into hers for just a moment for fear that she wasn't okay. It was easy to do considering I had done it so many times before, when our genders kept us separate.
I watched through her eyes as a few girls rushed towards Zoe, helping her back onto her feet as she stumbled a second time. Some of them were throwing around words like 'concussion!' and 'stay inside!' but Zoe pushed them away and said, “I fine! I promise! FESTIVAL!” With that, she skipped on, stepping over benches and bumping into other girls in an attempt to 'safely' get to her P.E. locker. Anyone else would've felt naughty staring as all of the girls changed, but I could shrug it off like it was nothing. After all, even no woman could compare to the appeal of my happy-go-lucky countenance.
Except for Arlane Fotiadis, that is. Zoe could see Lane in her peripheral vision and she couldn't help but grit her teeth. Zoe hated no one, and I'll say that without a speck of doubt, but there was something about Arlane that frustrated her. Arlane had a charming and flawless face—although it wasn't necessarily beautiful, it was alluring. This bothered both of us. But Arlane had something that Zoe longed for: friendship. I couldn't understand this yearning.
Zoe pushed away all of her anger and went back to changing, and once she concluded, she tapped her sneakers back on and tucked a lock of her hair behind her hair. Following a few of the others, she made her way outside, the brightness of the sun beating down on her neck, the smell of freshly cut grass hanging in the air—
“Deus? Yo, dude, you okay?” Someone poked my back in such a way that I straightened and shivered dramatically, pivoting on my heel and sending my fist in that direction. The boy caught it with ease and raised an eyebrow. “Deus, you're freaking everyone out,” Leron mumbled. Oh, Leron. No one could brighten up my day quite like he could. Except, perhaps, maybe me. Leron cocked an eyebrow and released my fist. I looked around at the boys in our area, all attempting to avoid my gaze as they figured out what was going on. “Did you, like, see God or something?” The way he said God made it seem like it was the best joke in the book. “And Deus. Put on some pants. Seriously.” He ran his hand through his coarse hair, his eyes flickering from my boxers to my face.
I decided to strike a pose instead. “What if I don't? Eh-hem, give me a sec—Egyptian style!” I rolled my arms back and forth and jerked my torso to the sides. Leron rolled his eyes. “You're no fun. Okay, I'll finish changing and hold your hand as we go outside.” As much as I loved attention, I found it hilarious how the glares shifted to Leron. I pulled my shorts on and Leron grabbed my wrist and dragged me away, his nails making dabs of holly against my snow white arm. He pulled me outside, the brightness of the sun beyond what I had seen while in Zoe's mind. I shielded my eyes and Leron chuckled cruelly.
“Track better not be first,” he commented. “I need time to secure my shoes and prepare myself. We're gonna kick their sorry butts.”
“You planning on cheating in order to defeat the great Kosta?” I remarked, catching sight of Zoe's currently ordinary hair bobbing as she raced to find her teammates. Last time she had dyed her hair green for a multi-school event she had gotten in trouble for being a 'distraction'. People just have short attention spans, I'd like to think. Zoe, we're behind you. Look around, dear, I told her, she stopped in her tracks and turned around to us, cartwheeling over.
“I don't have to cheat in order to be better than Kosta,” Leron scoffed. “And how about you with soccer?”
I coughed. “Anyway~” Zoe made it towards us, strangling me with a hug. “Zoe, I hear there's a new girl. In between competitions can you keep a look out for her? And Leron, did you have the opportunity to meet her yet?”
“Of course! Ready on arrival, admiral!...whatever an 'admiral' is, that is.” Zoe answered cheerfully.
“Like I would bother paying attention to some new chick,” Leron mumbled. “Even if she is...well, y'know. And if she is, I'm sure she can contain herself just a bit.”
“What if she's cuuuute?” Zoe and I sang in unison, mocking him.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever.” Leron held one of his cheeks as he blushed and frowned. It was easy entertainment. “I'll cheer for you guys,” he said, slowly, and I looked back over to the field uneasily.▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ συτ σƒ ɔσℓσгς;; This isn't as pretty as it could be, but at least I did it.
