Brute Wyvern
Brute Wyverns creatures are known to live near any immediate food source which includes many types of minerals as well as live prey. They are also known to be very aggressive towards hunters and as a result charge blindly through their environment, knocking down many obstacles in their path. They usually have thick skulls, weak arms, and have tough hides. The first species to ever be discovered was the Barroth. They are a perfect example of how aggressive these creatures can be, having a ferocity that rivals even that of a Diablos.

Barroth
Nicknames: Boru
Titles: The Sand Rampart
Size: Medium
Status Inflictions: Muddy
Weakness: Fire then Water
Habitat: Desert
It will occasionally roll in dirt and mud, possibly to cool off from the hot desert sun.
When it awakens from its subterranean slumber it will shake off all of the excess mud and dirt that gathers on its back, and if a hunter is close enough to it, the excess earth that flies off will become attached to the hunter and quickly dry due to the desert heat, causing the status infliction called "Muddy". This slows down the hunters movements and disables their use of items for a short period of time, making them an easy target for the Barroth to charge at.
When hit by mud, hunters also experience Waterblight, which messes with your breathing to make stamina harder to recover, but stamina is not lost by sprinting. After the Barroth has shaken off most of its mud, it will roll around in muddy water to collect more.
A Barroth frequently charges down pillars where Altaroth make their nests and then feeds on the ants that dwell within. It also regains stamina from eating at small mounds. When the Barroth throws its head in the ground to charge a hunter, it will turn to face the hunter, making it difficult to avoid. When low on stamina, Barroth will charge slower than usual.
Both tail and head pillars can be cut off and then carved which leaves the Barroth little mud to use. Hunters can also knock the hardened mud off of its tail, legs and arms, which usually drops an item.
The Barroth's weakest points are its forearms. When covered in mud, it is weakest to Water and immune to Fire, but when the mud has been removed, it is weakest to Fire and immune to Water.
The Barroth subspecies is an icy version that dwells in the tundra.

Uragaan
Nicknames: Gaan
Titles: None
Size: Medium
Status Inflictions: Sleep/Fire
Weakness: Water
Habitat: Volcano
Its back is lined with hard crystals and its chin is plated with a rock-like shell, suggesting the Uragaan has evolved a tough exterior due to life in volcanic regions. It's also able to eat rocks in order to regain its stamina.
Uragaan's signature ability is to roll its body into a wheel to increase its speed and agility. It will do this often in an attempt to crush the hunter. Uragaan may conduct either a short roll, or a longer one where it may roll in a figure eight for another stab at the hunter. It can also produce fire and sleep gas, much like Gravios, that will put Hunters to sleep or can inflict burn; the effect depends on the color, ghost-blue or red respectively. Uragaan will use its large jaw to attack, primarily by slamming it into the ground. It may also attack with a wide tail sweep, which flings large, explosive rocks into the area. If this has been done, the next time Uragaan uses a heavy jaw smash, all explosive rocks in the area will explode in a manner similar to Barrel Bombs.
The Uragaan subspecies appears in a metallic shell rather than one of rock, making it much tougher, though the subspecies is slightly more skittish.

Doboruberuku
Nicknames: Dobo, Beru Beru
Titles: Hammer Tail
Size: Large
Status Inflictions: None
Weakness: Fire
Habitat: Forest and Jungle
The Doboruberuku is equipped with dual horns on the side of the head which it uses for charging at hunters and a large clubbed tail made for bashing and smashing. Its attacks include a tail-slam using its massive body, a charge, an ear-splitting roar, and a tail spin move in which it moves its whole body counter-clockwise, spinning its tail in a attempt to hit the hunter like the charge attacks used for hammers. Doboruberuku will do this often, and will finish the move by either jumping into the air and slamming down hard, or sliding towards the hunter. When out of stamina, Doboruberuku will fall down at the end of this attack. Doborubeuku is well known for its ability to smash down and eat trees.
