Instead of getting up straight away she just lay there, making only an adjustment to be on her side instead, keeping her sight mostly on him. Gabby felt safe, yet her eyes couldn't leave him, he was so much bigger than she, looking so strong and proud even with his mane ruffled a little. Quirking a brow she listened as he shorted his entire life since they last saw one another into such a small speech, a little dubious and very curious what had finally pried him away from his oh'so'noble family.
"Least you don't have to meet there snooty expectations any more" She snorted this, with a hint of bitterness, where she was now had resulted from his initial rejection of her, so why did she crave the opposite now? More complicated adult feelings she had yet to un earth or really understand, well good thing she liked games and something she'd figure this one out sooner rather than later.
"Me? Oh..." She thought about that, it was a blurr of mostly running but the image of the seer was so fresh in her mind, she started to debate whether she wanted to share or not but found her jaw already open and talking. "I found a seer... I wanted to be a grown up..." The un spoken words there quite clearly was to be like him, he always grew faster than her... she just wan't to keep his interests even then, even if then it was just for play time.
"Then I woke up and bloody darned she witch, I was lost.. I didn't..." She cut herself off, remembering the feeling of being a cub in a adults body and being alone, having no idea where she was and learning everything she had thus far without help. "I never found home.. or... you well... till now." Her gaze drifted up to him with a grin, but a very... mature grin,

It had been a while since he'd left them so her comment only made him laugh and nod. These were conclusions he had already drawn about them, but his hushed loyal heart strings pulled. He listened to little bits of a story with his undivided attention.
"A seer?! ooo" He'd never met a seer himself, but he'd heard stories about them. When she came to the end, he thanked his lucky stars his pelt was red to hide his blush.
"Well you're home now." He winked at her and laid down very close to her.
"What did the Seer tell you, Dear Gabby?"

"She said she could help." And helped was a dubious choice of words looking back, the seer had indeed granted the at the time cubs wish but helping her it had not in the long run.
"She was weird looking, so cool" The lioness chuckled, she was still bitter about waking up alone and across the lands but remembering in the comfort of his company felt like a journey coming to an end. With his form laying down next to her's she found herself instinctively flopping her weight into him, leaving no space between them at all and in fact parts of her even positions on top of him.
"No skin, or muscles just bone, and her jaw fell off" She laughed again, feeling some of the stress of time melting away with the warmth of her old friends body so very close.
As her laugh subsided she lastly flopped her head down just a breath away from his, staring deep into his eyes. With a whisper her maw stayed curled into a smile as she breathed out the quietest "Smirny...."

He smiled and just stared down at her, he knew she was speaking and he needed to be listening to her, she was saying something important after all. Grotesque but important. But the old Smirnoff heard not a word, only the sound of sweet music he had never heard before. He couldn't speak, he could do nothing but feel the love of the female before him. Her warmth was the most beautiful thing he had ever felt so far in his life.
"I love you."
