Corinne looked over and saw Yuki's tattoo when he jumped away, "Can I see?" she asked, setting her plate down and grabbing for his wrist.

Yuki nervously flinched as Corinne grabbed his wrist, she caught a hold of it. He slowly tried to mumble some words and piece together a rough explanation, but he couldn't. "I-I..." was all that he could stutter at the moment. Yuki just bit his lip, wondering how she would react.

Corinne was absolutely clueless, "What's wrong...? I just wanted to see it." she said with a soft smile turning his arm over to get a beeter view. She ran her fingers over it softly and looked up, "It's really nice, makes me want a tattoo." she said with a bit of a luagh knowing that probably wasn't going to happen any time soon.

Yuki tingled as Corinne's small hands ran around his wrist, following the dragon, "Nothing.." he quickly said as she let out a small laugh. "Are you hungry?" Yuki asked quickly, not sure what else to do in this sort of situation as Corinne stated to want a tattoo.

Corinne pulled away quickly. She was probably making Yuki extremely nervous, judging from th way he suddenly changed the subject, "Um.... a little bit. Do you want something?" she asked, going along with it to ease the atmosphere.

Yuki smiled, "Sorry, I've been a bit distant lately," he replied, "But no, I don't need anything, thanks!" Yuki wasn't sure what it was, but something felt off. Was danger nearby? His sixth sense was pretty bad though, so maybe it was the weather making him feel uncomfortable. He glanced at Corinne, "I'll quickly get you some food!" Yuki scurried into the kitchen to satisfy his master's hunger.

Corrine was starting to get a bit annoyed at Yuki's avoidance. She shook the thought out of her head, not wanting to be mean when she thought she saw someone out the window. "Hello?" she asked, getting up and walking towards the front door to check.

Yuki froze, there it was! He saw Corinne walk up to answer the door and quickly darted in front of her. He blocked her from answering, but then realized he'd have to explain himself. "U-Uh, don't answer the door!"

"But there's someone outside. What if they need me?" Corinne asked, a bit confused, "Why don't you want me to?"

"U-U-Uh," Yuki stuttered as he searched his mind for a quick excuse, "I-I'll answer! You can go feed the cat!" He quickly lied, totally forgetting that she had no cats. Yuki made a dash to the door during Corinne's brief confusion state. He slowly opened it a crack to see who it was and suddenly a force pushed him back, slamming him into the wall. "Damn!" He said as he had made an ice shield just in time, successfully blocking the attack.

Corinne's eyes were wide, "What's happening?!" she shrieked. clearly someone was attacking. She went and grabbed a spell book from under the coffee table and started flipping through pages, trying to find something that would help Yuki. Even though Corinne was human both her parents were elves which gave her the ability to be a caster.

Yuki bit his lip as he quickly created an ice dagger. He easily grabbed a hold of the opponent, "State you purpose!" He said as his hands were closing on the attacker's neck. Surprisingly, it was a girl. Confused, Yuki looked at Corinne for help. The girl took this to her advantage as she kicked Yuki away.

"Petrificus!" Corinne shouted and the girl stood stock still, falling over onto the ground. Corinne's eyes went wide for a minute, unable to believe she had actually performed a spell.
