Sparkkit watched the meeting from the Nursery entrance and sighed. When was he going to become an apprentice? He wanted to help find whatever was making the prey disappear. Then he decided to find out on his own. Making sure no one was watching, he snuck over to the camp entrance.

Red Devil Fire Westice Thunderleap turned to the two apprentices. "All right," he said, "Let's go hunting. If you're good, I might put in a good word with Sunstar for you. You may not be ready to be warriors yet, but it'll help."
"Yeah, thanks!" agreed Rumblepaw, "But we will be made warriors soon, right? We're the oldest apprentices after all."

BarnOwl6-5 Dragonspirit32 "I know, most of you are going out, so I'll make it brief. All of you who has been hunting, these few days, will notice, it's oddly small. After all, it's greenleaf. I need to know what's going on. keep your eye out for anything suspicous. Thank you. May starclan grant us prey." With that, she padded towards the leaders den. Sintaclaw ran after her. "What's wrong?" He asked. She paused, and then said. "I'm expecting kits." She padded to the Leaders den, and layied down. "Are you sure?" Sintaclaw asked. He's going to father more kits, then just Windall? He calmed down, and then said. "Then tell the clan. Have Thunderleap lead the clan, like he did last time." "Alright!" Sunstar said, willingly. ((Didn't expect that, did ya?)) ((You didn't really read the rules, did you? I haven't approved of Sintaclaw yet, so you can't roleplay as him until you do. And you might want to go change his profile a little because you said he's a tiger, which is breaking another rule.)) Windfall turned and nodded to Crystalwing. "Certainly," she replied. "The more the merrier after all." She flexed her claws in and out. "If the other clans are stealing our prey, we'll show them. Come on," she added to the rest of the patrol. "Let's move out." ((sorry. I'll reread the rules.))

Brightstorm made his way over to the Leader's den, wondering if Sunstar was going to call them together soon. Silverstar had called for a gathering and it would be wrong for Lionclan not to show up.

Lightningpaw sat outside the apprentice den and spotted Sparkkit sitting by himself.
"Hey Sparkkit!" he greeted, trotting over to him. "Want me to show you some of the battle moves I've been learning? It will help when you become an apprentice!"

Thunderleap padded back into camp with Rumblepaw and Tumblepaw. He walked over to Sunstar. "Sorry I'm late," he said.

Rumblepaw and Tumblepaw followed Thunderleap back into camp. Rumble turned to her brother. "I'm going to be made a warrior before you," she hissed, batting at him.
"No way," he said, dodging, "I am going to be made warrior before you! And then I'll be leader, and you won't be my deputy!"
"You won't be my deputy when I'm leader!"

Saborclaw noticed the two bickering apprentices and sighed.
"Stop that you too," he growled, padding over to them. "With behavior like that, you won't even hope to be made warriors anytime soon." He caught them in his gaze to make sure they understood.

Westice Thunderleap padded back into camp with Rumblepaw and Tumblepaw. He walked over to Sunstar. "Sorry I'm late," he said. "you're alright." Said Sunstar in a beautiful voice. she padded out and yelled " I want Windfall, Brightstorm, Coldwater, Snaketooth, Cryastalwing, Tumblepaw, Lightingpaw, and Moonpaw to go to the gathering. Hurry." She ran down to the Fourtrees.

Rumblepaw stared in shock as the patrol left. Tumblepaw was going, but she wasn't? How was that fair? Grumbling, she stomped back to the apprentice's den. And she knew he was going to brag about it when he got back.

Sunstar panted as she got back. She ran a little quicker than everybody else, so she waited for her clan to file in. Once everybody was there, she yowled " All cats gather for a Clan meeting!" As the rest of her clan came out, her eyes shone with pride. They will find what's wrong! She knows it. "As the cats who went to the gathering know, we, lionclan, have teamed up with Tigerclan and Leapordclan, to find out our prey problem. Tomorrow, at the Fourtrees, two of our warriors will go out and find where the prey's going. I know some are more eager then others, but i will make the final desicion . I will annuoce the desicion soon, before dawn." With this, she padded to her den to think, leaving the clan in a buzz.

Brightstorm looked at her clanmates.
"I hope the leaders know what they're doing," she muttered. She hoped she would be picked for the first patrol. Brightstorm wanted to know what was going on as soon as possible.
