I'm working on this thing http://dullmagic.blogspot.com/2011/01/wip-bleh.html
I'd have to say that I wish I could finish these projects sooner, I just need to hammer a good work ethic into my head. I was tempted to post this into the WIP forum but I'm pretty sure it'd be hard to critique this work, since there's not that much put in to really comment about.
Although I have more than one project I'm working on (who doesn't?) I'd say this is one I want to get finished first the most, and it's more of a serious one.

Very nice. I like what you have on the birds so far. The dark areas of the feathers really well define their bodies and the major feather areas. Judging from the colors and the rock they are on I take it they are going to be in the snow.
This is the one I'm currently trying to furiously finish. Sadly due to a lack of sleep (my fault there) I've been too tired to do much and have had to erase and go over areas again and again. http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g186/lenoreriddle/asianpeacock2copycopy.jpg Theres a lot of unfinished areas. I plan to adjust the wall in the back to make it into a stone dragon facing in the opposite direction of the golden one. The hair will be a lot of work. I have a series of peacock haired females I'm working on so its going to be similar to this earlier work http://www.gaiaonline.com/arena/art/painting-and-drawing/vote/?entry_id=101951687#title and will be based on these feathers http://stephengreenarmytage.com/images/catalog/51.jpg I believe they are refereed to as oaten peacock feathers. http://database.amyspeacockparadise.com/oatendisplay.jpg

Liking those feathers on the hair, intricate work there
I understand how you feel, just imagining the next few hours spent on details makes you feel like procrastinating on it, heh. I know I'd be pretty frustrated working on more and more feathers for hair, but I'm actually doing the same thing now since I'm coloring in the feathers for the eagles right now.
Is this a commission or is it an OC?

Definitely good luck with the eagles. Feathers are so tedious.
Actually it's just an oc.

Ah, interesting OC there.
And thanks, I just actually started three other projects last night. I have to wonder why my mind always rages with ideas when I'm dead tired at 5 AM in the morning neutral
