I just was wondering what the religious breakdown of this group is. I assume there are a lot of non-religious people here, but I was interested as far as the religious people go, which religions are best represented.
I also thought this could be a good way to break the stereotype creationists have that you have to be nonreligious to support evolution. Personally, I am agnostic but I know many religious people who believe in evolution. My dad is a pastor and he definitely believes in evolution. You don't have to read the Bible 100% literally to be a Christian (and most Christians who claim to read it literally still pick and choose, anyway).
And I wish I could add more religions to the list, but it won't let me add any more poll options. I know I am leaving some big ones out, but that's why the "Other" button is there!
(By the way, I'm only breaking up the Christians because I assume that there are more of them on this particular site than the other religions and I'm honestly interested in how this breaks down as far as Catholics vs. Protestants vs. Orthodox vs. evangelicals etc.)
