I really think katniss woulda been my kinda girl if i actually knew her and was real. I mean she's got some edge, she sounds cute, shes clever, can handle herself when need be, and she does care about people. I mean peeta didn't desrve to be the father of her kids like really that shoulda been me. I wonder if there areany girls like her, if so i can't wait o meet them.

Seriously though, when I was reading Mockingjay, I always thought that she was the most realistic character I had ever read...

X] haha wow. I agree, like i've read about characters close to being realistic, but she was the best by far. I think suzzanne Collins should have continued with the Hunger Games.

Nightclaw251996 X] haha wow. I agree, like i've read about characters close to being realistic, but she was the best by far. I think suzzanne Collins should have continued with the Hunger Games. Well, after Katniss had gone in for two there wasn't much else she could do with it. But I really wish the epilogue wasn't there. She could've done a thing where Panem falls back into the way it was...or something...

i like how katniss is actually down to earth and not totally stupid. She's one of my favorite characters.

i agree with all of you. katniss is awesome, and the epilogue was kind of rushed and if it didnt happen, she could have written more books. ps. (just wondering) do you think you would have been happier if the third book hadnt come out? i mean it was an awesome book, but i think i would have liked it more if some events didnt occur. it kind of ruined how i thought it would end. and i didnt want somethings to happen.. which did

I definitally wouldnt be happier. I mean your right some events i dont think should have happened but still she'd have left us with a cliff hanger like she did in book 2 so eventually she would have had to right #3. If she'd change the 3rd around a bit i think it'd be more satisfying.
