Kassie looked up to the door as the sudden opening of it had shifted a few papers and she blinked at the man who had entered. She couldn't believe her eyes. She watched him in silence. "Good to see you back in here, Mark." She said and grinned. She stood slowly and followed him to where he sat and she teasingly lifted his hat from his head, confirming to her that it was indeed him and she smirked down at him. "Usual drink I presume?" She asked and wiped the table he sat at, though having kept everything clean had never been an issue for Kassie.

Mark chuckled and nodded. "Sure, why not. I was hoping more people would eventually show up. Maybe the DJ will eventually. He should be able to remote access the studio and it'd get him out of that place. I notice that there's nobody left apparently... maybe we should completely remake this kingdom in our own images. After all, there's nobody here but us apparently." He sighed as he sat up and shook his head. "Life certainly isn't what it once was."

"That's a no s**t statement."
Kassie said and moved back towards the bar, mixed up a rather strong screwdriver for Mark, brought it back over to him and sighed, handing it to him, setting the napkin down on the table.
"We could re-build, but I don't know how much good that would actually end up doing in the end."

Trigun is without a doubt one of my favorite animes. If not for the story telling, then at least for the opening theme. Sweet stuff. Well... not about to let it all stop here. Let's keep this party going. Keeping a beacon of light out to those survivors lost in the vast wilderness.

"It likely wouldn't help much at all. Things have decayed here beyond the point of repair. But what other choice do we have? Allow ourselves to succumb to the fate of the others? Not something I am willing to do." He chuckled sadly. "There may be just the three of us. You, me... and the radio DJ. But there's got to be a way to revive some semblance of the world we lost." He sighed a moment and took a large swig of the drink. It was good to chase away the heat of the sun.

Kassie shrugged quietly.
"I guess so..."
She stood there and watched him and sighed. She moved to sit back down, at the table he'd taken up instead of behind the bar and gazed around the bar for several quiet moments before looking back up to Mark. She didn't really have much to comment with, but she also felt nothing was really needed to be said.

"You all give up way too easily! I've been listening. 'How', is for me to know and for you two to probably never find out." Clear as day, it was the DJ's voice over the radio. "Don't stop believing! Things get bad. Then they get worse. But even good things come from bad thing. I Fought the zombie horde single handed. In turn I got like 80 bucks after I looted their bodies. And then you two showed. So cheer up, you lame-asses. You can get all depressed when the world is really about to end. Now that I've said my piece, Here is some food for though from My Chemical Romance."

The DJ look dismally around the room, slowly turning the dial in hopes of hearing something other than empty radio chatter. He heaved a sigh of sadness and slowly turned his mic on. "This is KOLM -88.5: Kingdom Radio, signing off"
