Work Diary - 26.o1.o6
This is my first time working as a "manager" on Gaia. My past experiences included co-owning a pixel minishop and being part of the funding/management team for a breedables shop, but they both eventually closed down. I floated around in other parts of Gaia for a while, but quickly my passion towards Gaia dimmed, as I did not have a responsibility.
Now, as a Harowiin manager, I felt like I actually have something to do here on Gaia, and it's great smile in a way, I love responsibilities. I know that I will eventually become a work freak when I grow up xD;; but hey, who will be there to stop me? wink
From my understanding, Harowiin had been handed around for quite a bit. Well, I'm glad that it eventually ended up in LC's hands! In the past few days I have been (unnecessarily) working overtime to make changes in the Harowiin thread and guild, not just the format, but also the content. I wonder what the previous owner would say if he sees that now ^^;; hopefully he won't be chasing me around with the Aegis Sword or anything.
I'm really wanting to get everything sorted before school starts on February 7th. Both LC and I probably won't be on as much anymore; even if we come on, we would be in completely different time zones. Weekends don't work either - maybe a few hours in the afternoon, but we'll probably be loaded with 6th form stuff. I hope everything will still be going fine while we're not here! gonk
Now, onto what I've done so far. First thing I did was changing the format of the front page (it still doesn't look right to me, but oh well). Also I've made huge changes to the Guild (am I abusing my power here? xD). I've re-written some of the rules and FAQ's - they're still mostly the same, just reinforcing them (oh, definitely power abusing). Written new RP and Journals rules guidelines (they aren't exactly rules ^^; there is a difference, I swear!). Aaaand... the best bit - basically getting to know everyone.
The to-do list is definitely getting smaller as I tick them off proudly each day, but everyday I also come up with something new that I have to do too gonk I will do them, hopefully not too quickly, because I HAVE to have something to do! DX

Okay, I'm getting REALLY confused about the abilities of the Harowiin's, and the problem is, I can't pinpoint the exact problem with it; it just... doesn't make sense at all. Some of the abilities are not on the list, so how did they end up on the tag? Were they from specials auctions or what? Also, some of the abilities are so similar, one could be another level or the other...
... plus more. Meh. I don't know. I'm just totally ripping my hair out about those. I don't want to make too much changes, because changing one thing may lead to changing a hell lot of other things.
And I need to know what to do about those inactive Harowiin users. Some haven't posted in their journals since November! gonk maybe I'll PM them or something... but if they don't want their Harowiin's anymore, who'll take them?
Somebody help me! gonk

School started, and everything's suddenly really chaotic... why am I still on Gaia now? gonk I should be completing my World Lit homework, working out physics measurement, researching Shakespeare, and learning German Vokabeln...
And of course, the V-Day RP prompt. Aaargh.

I'm so drained from school... also, I'm going on camp tomorrow, and I'll probably die there... gonk
