Nikas heart was beating frantically in her chest. "I-I meant by her." She said stepping back and pointing at Cha'risa. He was right though, this very strange vampire did have a funny feel to her. She smelled like bone too. Most vampires smelled very sweet, but that was just because there skins sweat leeked fragrances to cover up the smell of blood. Wait... why did she know this? Nika hugged her arms and stared at Cha, realizing that maybe she wasn't a vampire, but something else. She looked at the man with blonde hair, then at Alister. She wasn't going to just run away! Alister would get frostbite or something! And Cha'risa would handle the man for her anyway. Before the scary woman even twitched, which was what she was doing this whole time anyway, Nika ran passed the man (who was even more frightening up close because Nika was so short) up to the sleeping Alister. Good, he was just sleeping. She knelt down closer and looked at his face. He seemed so familiar...

Nika pulled off her hood, letting the snow land on her hair, and tied her curls behind her head. Going behind Alister, she put her arms under his, held her other hand on his chest, and moved him backwards off the battle field. The chain dragged on with his, because he was still holding it. Nika put him down with an ohf, and went to collect the rest of his chain. When she was sure he was out of the way she sat cross legged beside him and watched the blonde man.

Cha'Risa stood stoic, she moved nary a single breadth of an inch through the entire scene that was unfolding before her, as if spreading wings of the Hawk above. She had not a single blink to distort unholy or sickly glow her eyes gave, penetrating through the shade of her skull's eyesockets. Her chest did not move visibly--was as she even breathing? It was as if she was just a puppet that was set down by the puppeteer momentarily. Her skin was almost porcelain-looking out here.. If she looked like anything, The word "alive" wasn't it.. Yet irony was set into place, for this was one of the times she felt the most alive. But, she wasn't in the mood for their displays of childish games and verbal attacks. She was only in the mood to get her prize and bestow it to her Lord and Father. And in the back of her mind, she felt that cold, tingling sensation of his attention. What interesting creatures they had to be- They'd attracted His intrigue.

Dadrik displayed too much confidence. Often within the nature she was accustomed to, the males puffed themselves up beyond their regular forms or manners. Perhaps he was just the turkey raising up it's tailfeathers.. But the possibility lay in the other side of that weighted scale, maybe he really was that impressive. There was but one way to find out: watch, then try. The Hawk often circled about it's prey much before taking that dive, setting sights with it's eyes. And today, she was his Hawk, he was her field mouse. Dead.

She did not blink as Alister flickered about she did not move when the snow was flung upward. Some even fluttered down in clumps against her skull's hollow snout, protecting her face. The first few blows were fast. But something about them was.. not frightening. Perhaps the Wendigo-Child thought herself to be their measure in speed, or perhaps she knew a counter to them, like the fox and the Bear. She'd continue to watch, not so much as batting a lash in doing so. Her lips were ajar, showing her enlarged canines, protruding from her jaws over her lower lip. My, they looked so.. formidable. So hungry.

Her blood was actually pumping. From their pathetic trickle throughout her body, they became a river. A surging river, supplying every single capillary with the rage, hunger and determination they needed. She could feel this strange sensation, and she forced herself to remain still. These beings mattered not to her: not Alister, not that female (Nika), and not her target. He only mattered in that she had to topple him. Their ;honor' did not stop her from intercepting and gaining Dadrik's head with Alister as a distraction. So what did? Simple. Observance.

He slumped, and as soon as a strike would have landed against him, he rolled and evaded. He acted like an avarian figure, a bird. She'd observe in her stewing silence. As soon as she was addressed, Dadrik would find.. no change in her. Not a blink or an exhale. His comment got nothing other than a mental jest. 'He stumbles over his words like he will the ground.'

Her lip wanted to curl. She detested fire. But this show of flame and metal ended rather quickly.. Allister lost his upperhand like he'd never had it-- and maybe that was the actual truth. Perhaps he was just the cub in play, and Dadrik's was it's teaching Mother. That man had a regenerative ability, she observed. Huh. She'd shift slightly, uncontrollably. And her 'uncontrolled' move was as subtle as it got still: She simple scooted her foot sideways against the snow a single. Inch.

"I do not care for the story behind you. Your blood is a minor desire to me." Her eyes shifted to Alister's new assistant, the little female. Huh. She had confidence in Cha'Risa. Cocky as well, even. She'd let her eyes drift to Dadrik, and she felt a small welling of blood in those sockets. Her cheeks were already stained. In the back of her mind, she heard .. them. The spirits. She'd stop all of her attention to listen to them. Warnings, cautions. '"Blood! Nary a taste!!"

She'd step forward once, and she.. BIT her fingertip. She'd yank one glove off, before flexing it's exposed digits into the frigid air. Each fingernail was thick and long, pointed as if it was a weapon.. Black, at the cuticles, hinting at.. Lack of circulation, akin to frostbite. How was she still even moving? Oh god, they begged to feed. She begged to feed. She pulled the other glove off, and tossed them aside. Her Right arm was still in it's birth state, though at any moment it threatened it's shift.

"You shall not leave here alive, that is correct." She'd assert. Her eyes narrowed, and suddenly, a large gust of wind tore across it, enough to twist the trees of the sturdiest trunk. A mist rolled in gradually, yet faster than it SHOULD have. .. A chill followed it-- it would be much below Zero in minutes at this rate.. The weather was bending, whether it was from HER or.. Him, was another subject to debate.

She'd lower into a strange run-- blurring in the swallowing, enveloping mist. Was she even running on her legs, or on.. FOURS? In the swirling gray mists, she was.. gone. Yet something stirred in the distant left. she was letting the chill and mists SET IN.. Almost regardless of Nika or Alister. In all actuality, she had no control over the radius of the altered weather, if she even did it herself..

Quickly the weather changed. Dadrik was a little bit off put by this occurrence. It seemed, unnatural, or at least how quickly it happened and how cold it was getting in that time. Sure the city of winter was cold and could get quite cold...but like this. A fog started to come in quick to and that's when the girl with the skull on her head vanished. His head shifted and he spotted the girl Niko and Alister just before the fog came in. They would sure to be frozen in minutes with how cold it was getting. Dadrik threw out both his arms and waved them fluidly having his flame come out and dance around him and he shot it out toward Niko and Alister's unconscious body. The flame cut though the fog. From Niko's position the flame wouldn't be able to be seen thought the fog, just a dark shadow coming closer and closer like impending death. But as soon as the flame got close to Niko and Alister, close enough to actually see, the flame spread and surrounded them but did not touch them, more like protected them and stayed a perfect temperature to keep them warm in the weather that was just getting colder and colder.

Dadrik lowered his arms after that and looked around, truly one could not see even a foot infront of them the fog was so dense. He could only think that either she did this or someone or something was helping her. But he sensed nothing, no one other then his sister, Alister, Niko and the girl he was now fighting. Honestly, he didn't really want to, but he could see the determination within her even behind her calm almost dead posture. Although that dead stillness she held a few moments ago were gone. Although the fog prevented him from see her, he knew that she was no longer in the spot he last saw her at. She was now on the attack it would seem, using the blinding fog for her advantage. Although, it wouldn't be as much of a crutch as she would of thought it to be. Sight wasn't the only thing he had on his side. The fog would only be a minor setback to him. But just to play it safe for now, he'd let her make the first move. He had to prevent this girl from drinking his blood, he knew what she was and the fact that he shed a little bit of blood would of let her in on his scent. Which, would drive her to want it..want to take him down...not that she didn't seem to want to do that in a over manner anyway. Slowly he closed his eyes and bent his knees, holding his arms infront of him, his hands clenched in a claw manner, readying himself for his move if she was to make a move first...or to track her movement by sound...and taste. It shouldn't take long.

She was not in the same form that she was in. Cha'Risa had a gift beyond his arm bestowed upon her from Him. From the ascension she rose in, to becoming the Wendigo-King's own, His daughter and image.. She was given a second body. One that she could conceal herself within, in seconds. The form shift was thoughtless and .. easy. Almost as if she'd been born with it, or she had become it, rather than being a Dhampir her whole life. It was of His flesh and his blood, the Nature of the Snow-scarred wilds He oversaw and helped spur on. It brought her to His children, the primality of His being.. It was..

A wolf.. And it was not small. Upon hind legs, she may have well reached over six feet tall. She weighed 120.. Though her size hinted she would have filled out, she appeared emaciated, her ribcage tickling against her pelt and into sight. Her fur was as white as He once was. She was without His age and timely rotting, without the stains and matting He had given Himself. Her fur was white as the snow she found herself crouching her underbelly against. The tips of her fur varied only slightly, from the flawless white to a off-gray. Indeed, it mimicked the manner a timber wolf's would. But this was not a regular wolf, and upon sight of her, one would know it wasn't the same.. For it had a set of antlers atop it's lupine head. As dark as the midnight skies above, it's curling shape bore 6 small, sharp points on each antler. For as young as this form was, her antlers had not seen their use.. She was almost more deadly in this manner.. They hadn't yet dulled or rounded at their pristine edges. But there was another abnormality.

Three eyes. There were two, much akin to her's before, and her Father's before her's. ..They were clouded thick with contagion and illness, a puss-like yellow in which stained the white of it's eyes away. But they each rarely trickled with blood as she would have before, and He before her. Yet a third, large eye was closed between the first two, crowning over the center of her lupine head, as if foreseeing over her Snout. But so far, nothing but faded, barely visible smudges lay beneath each of the trio..

Her belly laid flat against the cold show, her tail curled over lower face. Her ears bent back flat against her cranium, and her placement left her antlers to appear as if.. foliage, broken aged branches. The tree she positioned nearby was aged to a dark wooden hue, and ragged with age, torn apart by bear markings and gravity's pull. She'd bore her two eyes into the actions Dadrik made and took, and her black, leathery nose wrinkled atop her snout's edge. She was allowing the thick gray fog settle into the valley, swirling so thick it almost affected breathing. The cold was almost intolerable to the mortal beings unused to this. But to her..? She felt so. Alive..!

So very alive with the hunt, alive with the frigidity He was born of. It was time at last. She'd rise up silently, so painstakingly slow that not a shift of snow was made loudly. So fluid, that if it fell from her, it rolled like a sphere, and silently repositioned in the banks. She'd creep low now, closer.. Her maw parted to taste his flame's char, the heat almost made her clamp shut.. she'd resist. How she HATED fire.. how He so hated flame. She'd release a rumbling growl that vibrated throughout her entire muzzle, warming her throat. She'd escalate it into a horrifying, malicious snarl, before she'd conceal herself entirely, behind a tree-- in a good distance from him, in another direction from the spot she'd made the sounds. Being that this form was a new scent, a new.. aura, a new SIGHT, perhaps he'd overlook what he'd feel, and he certainly wouldn't SEE her.. He'd be lured or tricked, with her highest hopes.

She'd head out forward, away from him, before flanking back around, and.. behind him. Her eyes remained only two, as if she was currently.. avoiding the use of the Third. His eyes were closed, he was waiting. He had centered his balance with the bending of his knees. That lowered, even so slightly, his back, and vitals this way. The wolf would creep painstakingly slow to ensure silence, until she was a few feeds' distance from him. She'd charge abruptly, her gait was long. Within seconds, she'd make it to his back.. She'd attempt to drive each of those 12 points into his back, and thresh her head upward, goring whatever she impaled upward. Her jaws snapped, attempting a clamp FIRMLY against his shoulder. She'd shake her head about raggedly if her bite was successful raggedly, before launching her head to the side, hopefully shoving him around-- first with her charge's impact force, and now in the opposite way. Her paws were each the size of an average hand of a human's.. They would attempt to press against him and PUSH as well as the forceful bite's throw. During the bite and shake, if he'd turned his head or jerked against her, he may have also met with the large curling points upon her antlers which would be at his ear's level or higher. If he had not fallen or moved in one direction either by evasion or her force by now.. He'd regret it.

She'd attempt to evade any action by letting go with her forceful push via the bite. She'd now be in front of his starting point a good four to five feet. Her maw crinkled up, likely splattered by blood if he'd not stopped her-- same with her antlers' points. Normally was when the Stag-hound would charge, again. But she wouldn't, he'd predict it. Instead, she'd lower her head, pointing all 12 points at him, barring his way to get at her from the front.. He'd encounter any of the prongs before her flesh, for they extended at least 6 inches to a foot away from her skull's base.

She'd pace to the side, almost feline-like.. She was poised. Anything he did, she'd likely be able to try, at least, to move away. She'd emit a deep-throated, reverberating growl again, clamping her teeth and jaws together audibly. Her ears bent backwards in both aggression, and protection against the impacts that might be made against her antlers. ..and that eye. It suddenly widened open, trickling with blood. She'd, possibly, with three eyes, be able to register more sight-- maybe counter, to some mitigable extent.. his blurring speed.

Nika

Nika felt the cold coming in a thick wind, but she didnt mind it. In fact, she almost didnt notice it until the fog set in. And then the fire. It was a bright lantern in the gray fog, but it wasnt welcoming. As it grew closer, and brighter, Nika raised her arms to shield her face from the blaze, fearing that she would be killed. But the fire never hit home. She looked up, dazed at the sight of the fire around them. She stood, her pale blue eyes wide in wonder at how that was even possible. Then her attention was back down on the boy near her feet. She needed to get him out of here. But how? She didnt want to get anywhere near that fire. She poked the boy with her toe. "Wake up!" She said nervously.

Dadrik stood ready, he opened his lips and let the tastes of the world around him. The fog may have been blinding but it wouldn't distract his other senses. But the woman was silent, alot more so then before. And something else was odd. Her aura was basically gone, only a hint of it could he sense and see. But it didn't stop there, the oddness. No.. Her taste, smell..was basically gone to. Instead it was replaced by a new scent, a new aura....something slightly familiar yet very much different. But yet again, he couldn't put his finger on it. With the new scent, aura and silence, any normal person would of gathered that the girl ran, turned tale. That a near by animal was now stalking them.. But Dadrik knew better, he knew that people could change into other creatures...but...a Dhampir change completely..he almost thought it couldn't be that she would of ran..but he knew better. The way she watched him, studied him it would of seemed. No she didn't run...she had something up her sleeve. But to be sure he looked, tasted, smelled and sensed for her original body a bit more just to be sure but it had basically vanished and was replaced. That is exactly what made him think she was playing some sort of game...or pulled something out of her a**..but she didn't seem like the game player. This was part of her strategy, she was trying to trick him. Just as he figured it out he noticed that the new creatures aura and scent was behind him. Just as he turned he saw the points of the antlers. Dadrik noticed just in time to shift his body and dodge the onslot of points.

Just as he dodged the creatures antlers, the maw came upon him..but he had not enough time to dodge completely. Instead his flame sprouted where the teeth would byte down on and then started to harden into a black crystal. He did this so that he would spill no blood on the girl or in her mouth. Although she was trying to kill him. He didn't really have any urge for her to die. And her being half a vampire...if.......thats what she was anymore...she'd want his blood...Which would be a death sentence for her and her kind. The teeth clamped down on his crystal covered shoulder. The crystal protected him as well as her but the pressure from her bite was putting a damper on his shoulder. It even started to crack a little..not the crystal..his bone. Her new form seemed to have quite a bit of power to it. He was then lifted up and shook around, his body becoming somewhat like a rag doll. He didn't realize this at the time but the antlers were very close to his face, enough so when he turned to watch his body he noticed the antlers, he pulled back a bit just in time to dodge it from piercing his eye, but it still hit him...infact it still pierced him. It pierced his cheek going out his mouth. He couldn't prevent this part, the blood coming from him now.. it flowed onto her antlers and dripped on top of her head, but no where close to her mouth. Unless she had a very weird tongue, she couldn't get to it. At least that put his mind at ease...even though he was a rag doll at the moment. In a quick movement, he ripped the rest of his cheek off the antler and reached back with a hand placing it on the creatures snout to try to get it's grip loosened from his shoulder. That moment, something flashed in his mind. ... A hideous creature, rotting, dead... IN that instant his mind went back..far back.

'The sound of to sets of footsteps in a glorious corridor could be heard, the vision of him and his brother came into view as they rounded a corner. "So Maarick? What was it that got you. It looked a bit deadlier than normal..your wound that is.. Usually you heal quicker than that.." Dadrik questioned as they entered the thrown room of sorts.
"Windego. Nasty beings. Not that hard to dispatch, but.. Something about them causes our healing to slow. Not sure why. No big deal though. Not even a Windego can kill us." He said never looking at his brother.
"So ....you almost got your a** kicked eh?" Dadrik laughed a bit. "There seems to be more?" he questioned Maarick.
" Yes brother..there is more. While windego's are not necessarily deadly to us..there is one among them...Well you could say he's a god of sorts. Even our blood if drank by him would not kill him. And even we ourselves would have a problem taking him down. And he if he could not kill us..could most likely gravely injure us....at most...that goes both ways...we may be able badly injure him..but I'm not so sure we could kill such a being." Maarick turned his head to his brother. "Luckly, he doesn't tend to take intrest in life unless it's to eat it...but if you ever catch wind of this wendigo...Stray away...Do not provoke him. " Maarick warned.
"And what is the name of wendigo-lord I should stay away from?" Dadrik shrugged.
"Byaelbog.." Maarick said simply.

Dadrik snapped back, the thoughts going though her head was mainly about this Wendigo, Byaelbog. But before anything else, he was thrown forward, her paws pushing him so that he spun in mid air. Dadrik was free falling at the moment. Not alot he could do except fall. His face hit the ground first and he rolled to a stop. For a moment his body was limp, his body was tangled a bit.. His arms looked as if they were bent backward. Slowly Dadrik moved his arms around, they cracked as he did so, popping back into place. His body slowly formed back together as he stood up. He then grabbed his arm with his active arm. He pushed up and it cracked popping into place. His cheek though..was weird. It was healing getting put pact together..but at a slower pace than usual. This brought to his attention the memory he had and the flash image he saw from her touch. " Wendigo?" He said looking upon the form moving though the mist. " Better yet, Byaelbog... Why the hell was the lord of wendigo in your mind? And why the hell have you taken a form close to a wendigo..." Dadrik questioned the creature..sure he wouldn't get an answer.. He was just a bit confused. From what his brother told him the lord wouldn't of took interest in people..so why...this girl..she wasn't just a dhampir. And she wasn't a wendigo..but she had part of one running though her veins. From what he could tell..was she gifted? Did he show an interest in someone... but...why...how...and this girl? Her mind was so very corrupted, her body as well. She seemed to live for one thing...him... He only caught a bit...glimpses...but what he saw confused him but brought him to understand a little as well. One thing was for sure though... If he were to cause to much harm to this girl...he didn't think the wendigo lord would take to kindly to it.

After he healed he noticed the girl in this form was starting to circle him, preying like a cat to a mouse. Something else he caught though. She thought he was just a man puffing out his chest. Maybe so but Dadrik had the power to back that up. " So, you find me a minor threat? eh..." Dadrik said to the wendigo girl. Dadrik flared his teeth, his k-9's elongated as if he were a vampire, his skin started to change color, turning a greyish tint. His hair even started to rise almost like the hair on the back of a dogs neck. His eyes blackened. He took a breath in, clenched his teeth. Kneeling down he thew his arms back and his black flame came forth from his arms flaring behind him, the heat pushed away the fog. Right then as the flame came forth, a pulse of ...force came forth from his body and pushed out all around him, it had a low vibrative sound. This force went though the air and it seemed for a moment that the snow falling paused, that it stopped falling but only for a couple seconds. Just as time paused for the snow, it came back. And with that he let out a low growl from his throat as well, not like hers, not as animalistic as hers. More of a different beast all together, almost more of a hiss a breathing in sort of growl. "Byaelbog...Does that ring a bell for you?" He questioned the girl, his flame dying down a little, but his arms still consumed bye them, engulfed like black flame gauntlets.

Nika

Nika looked around her, at the spinning black fire and the fog beyond it. She couldnt tell what was going on out there, but she hoped that the man wasnt planning on coming back to finish her off. Or the boy, whom was still sleeping by her feet. She could feel the heat coming from the black flames, but it wasnt comforting. Nika was afraid of it, to her it wasnt natural. And in her gut, she knew that if she wanted to live she would have to run. She would have to run like Hell was at her heels. But she coudlnt just leave the boy here all alone in the snow waiting for that man to take his life.
Nika stared at the boy while she thought of a way to escape. But as she stared, the more she thought of the question that had been plaguing her mind since she saw him. Why does he look so familiar? Do I know him from somewhere? She reached down and moved a strand of his black hair from his forehead with her gloved fingers. She took another long look at his face, but got nothing. Frowning, she decided to test one of her plans of escape by seeing if she could lift him up. She grabbed his elbows and pulled upward, but she could hardly get him off the ground. Sighing, she dropped his limp body back into the snow. She tapped her chin as she began to think some more. Once again, she grabbed his elbows, but instead of lifting, she dragged him. Which proved useful, since she could do that with almost no problem. But that chain of his, it would only slow her down. She walked over to the sword, and pried it from his hand, which was hard since he had such a firm grip on his weapon. Then, Nika started rapping the chain around his body, until it reached the sword part. That was when she rapped the boys fingers around the hilt again tightly. She took a step back to see her work, and smiled. He looked like a captive, except for the sword in his hand. She looked behind her at the black fire wall, and quickly turned away. It wasnt normal, and that scared her.
Nika walked back over to the boy, and grabbed a part of the chain that was closest to the boys upper back, like you would with a pup's scruff. She pulled him over to a bank of snow that wasnt too close to the wall, and dropped him again with almost no kindness. She then began to dig, through the snow, and through the dirt with no trouble. Once she was down about ten feet she began to dig to the east, away from the man with the black fire. She wasnt quite sure how much she had dug from then, but it was enough to get her far away from the battle that she had left behind. She turned around in her snow tunnel, and headed back for the boy that was still on the surface. She poked her head out of the hole first, the ears on her hood as well as her eyes were the only things above the ground. When she saw it was just the boy that was still there, she grabbed the scruff chain and yanked him into the tunnel with her. She pulled him down the length she had already made, counting in song as she walked. And by her math, she had dug at least a mile or so. Around that anyway. And she had made the tunnel big enough so that she could stand easily on her knees and fit the boy through behind her at the same time. It wasnt comfy, but it was enough room to allow her to crouch and pull at the same time. But he was heavy, so dragging him through the tunnel was slow and dull work. She couldnt wait until she was up above again.
Finally, after for what felt like forever, she was at the end of the tunnel she had made. She dropped the boy onto the cold, hard dirt, and clawed the celling with her gloved fingers. She stuck her hand out into the snow above once she broke through. Breathing heavily, she reached back into the hole once she was out, and pulled the boy into the white world of snow. With of oof, he was out of the tunnel, still wrapped up in his chain like a dangerous criminal. She too collapsed into the snow, completely tired out from her frantic digging and dragging. The snow had stopped falling, but her hood was still covered in the white powder. As she rested, she wondered if that strange vampire and the eater were still fighting.

Painful memories I cannot escape
No matter how hard I try
They come to me in late night dreams
Thru the day their on my mind

Its like a haunting of times gone by
Revived to live again
Showing themselves when I'm just to the point
My heart is starting to mend

I try not to dwell on the painful things
That changed my life forever
A daunting task I've found this is
Without forgetting the past all together

Cha'risa would have winced from that flame upon bite, if it hadn't hardened into.. protective, black crystals. She had continued to bite even harder, and upon the sound of cracking, she could smell the marrow almost, through all that flesh and skin, sinew and clothing. She'd, as she threw and released, feel his head collide with one of the more devilishly curved, angled antler points. Blood splattered across the air, her new eyes could so easily see it, her new nose could so effortlessly gain that overpowering scent.. It was maddeningly beautiful. His hand reached for her snout, and she merely released.. She'd throw him forcefully, using her paws to further shove him with the movement, making it easier for her to map him lose footing.

But something flashed in her mind. Something unwilling, just at his touch, during her release. There was Another, near the man she faced, within her head.. Intrusive Spectres. Whatever this metal trick was, she'd resist it..! But it felt so benign, so harmless that she'd watch it unfold. The Other had hair the hue of the leaves of Spring and his eyes were of Emerald. He was like This one, near her. And they spoke with such familiarity, it was as if they were.. close friends-- Kin by blood. the Other, as she'd discover, was wounded prior.. He possessed regeneration. Now, it would not shock her if the Blonde she faced now, would as well. But the name made her blood run like a waterfall's cascade. "Wendigo." this wasn't coincidence. ..Her Ilk could not down these beings? She would have to TRY harder now, for her FATHER.. And so it continued. They spoke.. of.. Him! Her jaws bore themselves, each and every ivory against her black gums seemed sharp with her primalism and fury, with her anger in this. Her eye thrust itself open, only to observe.. blood. This eye overloaded her with sudden sensors, vision beyond any she'd had before. Each droplet that slipped from his ripping cheek in his descent, spinning about aerodynamically. She'd snarl with unrelenting volume, thrusting her head upward, now to even stare and seethe, her Third eye taking in every fiber of ripped flesh she should. She'd suddenly shift her tongue and lower jaw, and loll the black crystal fragments out of her mouth.. She knew why the Spirits cried against his blood now. But why had he prevented her in taking it, when she was attacking..? If their blood was known to kill, it was a weapon against her.. Why was he not USING IT? She was prevented by these crystals, of which she was spitting out. They tasted of brim and sulfur.. Flame. Something They HATED.

His arms looked past their use, and his face had been punctured through entirely. Anything lee would have died. But not he, for he began to stir after a few moments. They snapped and crackled into their appropriate sockets, and tendon reaffirmed their tense grip along the bone. Her eyes all narrowed, a small welling of blood in the socket that would yet bleed onto her fur. He stood up, and stared at her. In response, her fur raised against, her maw crinkled upward to exhibit every last tooth she had, and reverberated with another deep-toned snarl, no longer a growl. Saliva lightly dribbled off of her maw, forming small ribbons between each curling canine and molar alike. Yet all of them, begged to find warmth and solace inn his head, cracking into his brain matter.

He said the word which she regarded holy "Byaelbog?" She'd snap her jaw, lolling her tongue out, only to emit a low snarl in continuation with the last. Her tongue was a disgusting gray, abnormally pointed at it's tip.. Flecked with shining black speckles-- the damn crystals of his refused to take their leavance from her. He was NOT going to taint and sully her Lord by saying it so callously. There were fears about.. But then again, there was little reason to care. For the rage of Byaelbog was not frying and boiling her mind away.. In fact, he was merely .. amused. So they knew of him.. how intriguing.

She gave nothing. In this form, she could not. Her vocal chords were of a Wolf, not a humanoid-- speech was not within her physical reach. Within moments, he proved her right.. Somewhat. He was just another of the Males in a species, flaring themselves out for display. His teeth looked much like her's of Birth. Her eyes widened back to take in details. His skin, his eyes.. black. As if he was burning right within himself, like some humanoid kettle. A geyser waiting to erupt.. The heat was repulsive. She didn't take enjoyment in it, for she and He had set up such a snowstorm for this.. Heat. Flame. Brim Sulfur. The flames that arched behind him were some distance, had he done it in the opposite direction, she would have been burned badly.. She withdrew, shrinking back slightly, yet tensely, a moment or two passed with all three eyes closed. It was not of fear, but of dislike, obvious disdain. She'd slink backwards into the fog as he hissed his remark. Two of the three eyes opened during this.

He radiated heat.. But not enough to melt the snow as drastically as it first began, with that sound. It was not enough to burn her within a certain range. She'd have to think-- for the flames that engulfed his arms were obviously to be used hostilely, and they ranged about the length of her first points. But not the entire stretch of the antlers he had. She was to keep away from him.. but she had nothing but herself-- the Scythe. She'd need to shift. But she'd best use her mobility and low-height here, first. The wolf would rear back, and begin to charge: From the right diagonal. From her direct view, she would charge his side, moreso his arm. Risky, but she had a plan mapped out in her little mind. Her antlers bore no nerves, not enough to feel heat like that. If they burned, it wouldn't be much damage, not in the time frame she was giving herself mentally.

She'd attempt to rake her antlers across his backside and the backside of his arms, especially near the elbow and wrist, due to her antler's point location in accordance to his arm, before rearing up to gore more to his shoulder-level, though he might find himself being stabbed in the upper chest, at his pectorals, or his abs. During her ram-and impale movement, her jaws began snapping at his face and neck before getting back onto her fours before him, a foot or so away.. Away from the immediate flames upon him. Her eyes winced, but did not close-- the heat.. She'd bare her teeth, and throw her head up strangely.. Just incase he suddenly reappeared behind her or beside her, he'd get at least a bump, if not a impaling stab, from any of her 12 points; 6 on either antler.. If he was behind her, this left about 2 to evade; and on either side, there were two to be wary of. Infront? Two as well. These were highly.. adapted.

She'd begin to wheel back and dash away, only to skid around to face him, thrashing her head back, forward and side to side.. Again, to halt or attempt the presentation of ambush.. Was she to charge again? In her mind, a plea. "He-ay-hee-ee! Hey-ay-hee-ee! Ate, ate.. Hear me, --a relative I am! Give me the strength to walk the soft earth, a relative to all that is! Give me the eyes to see and the strength to understand, that I may be like you. With your power only can I face the flames! Mita kuye ayasin, Wakan Tanka Cha'Risa.." And so, she began to feel it.. The cold growing in her right arm. If Dadrik drew within two feet of her right side, both directly or diagonally, he'd feel a chill so deep, so true, even he might recoil.. There was no physical change yet, but she was.. ready to instantly call upon His strength. Her eyes, all three, focused in the surroundings, all shifting.. in indiscernibly different directions, her senses over clocking to catch any flicker., any movement. Her ears, though pinned, would strain to hear, her maw parted to taste her air, her nose crinkling to catch all scents.
"Wahi, Gusano..!" With this thought she spat into her mind, her maw emitted a snarl, escalating into something of a ragged, perhaps intimidating bark. She was frustrated, yet so alive.

I am not a pattern to be followed
The pill that I'm on is a tough one to swallow
I'm not a criminal, not a role model
Not a born leader, I'm a tough act to follow
I am not the fortune and the fame or the sane person telling you to forfeit the game
I came in the ring like a dog on a chain and then found out the underbelly sicker than it seems
And it seems ugly but it can get worse

Dadrik noticed her reaction to him saying that name. So it would seem she really didn't like him using his name in vain. "Whats wrong, you don't like me soiling his name...What is he to you? I can't wrap my mind around it, even if I saw it in yours..." He shouted at the girl, his arms still engulfed in his black fire. He noticed another thing, she only growled or made noises, so Dadrik figured that in this form she couldn't speak. He had some interest in her story, what made her so devoted to this...creature. But he highly doubted he'd get it out of her...but maybe..if he taunted her enough she'd change and spill it. He was distracted at the moment, thinking of how he'd get her to talk.. and why such a creature would take in a mortal being..especially being one such as that. He was so distracted infact that he didn't realize that the girl started to dash at him from the side. She reared her antlers up on his backside, catching the back of his arm as well. He pulled back just in time to not get impailed, but not so much to get a deep gash in his back, arm and partly on his wrist. His head turned and her teeth were upon him no sooner. she Wasted no time, had no hesitation between attacks. It was as if she was bred for such battle. Dadrik quickly bent backwards, dodging her teeth and then fell to his side and rolled, leaving a trail of blood in the snow. The moment he got back to his feet his body flickered and he was several feet away from her. His jacket torn and the blood seemed to stop. Slowly the wounds healed, but he winced in pain as they did. How idiotic of him to loose concentration in battle. He wanted to know though, so it was now, he had to try to get her back to her regular form..or at least try...hell maybe she'd change just cus she wanted to..either way was fine. " Lets say you change..." He said as his body flickered and he vanished. Just like Alister when he ran for Dadrik, the snow shot up in the air, but this time it happened tree times, all at once. One going straight toward her, and two on each side away from him. This was more of a diversionary tactic, trying to make himself look as fast...or in this case, as slow as Alister was. Dadrik's body flickered and he was behind her, but she somehow figured he'd be there, so he dodged and flickered away again. Tried the side but once again...she was jaring her head. The third same thing.... Was it on purpose. Could her third eye read him....or...was it just luck. Either way, this had to end. He didn't even want to fight her in the first place, Alister of course yeah.... He wanted to see what the owner of the sword he created had. But this, he had nothing against this girl...well she was a bit sadistic....and carnage ruled her mind..but he had no room to judge..unless he caught this girl in the act he wouldn't deliberately go after her.

Dadrik's body flickered and he showed back where he was, sliding in the snow and turning at the same time to face Cha'risa. " You asked for this.." He said lifting up his hand and snapping. There was a reason why there was chunks of crystal still in her mouth. That crystal he had was basically unbreakable unless he wanted it to or his soul and body were critically drained. The moment he snapped the crystals in her mouth bursted into black flame, hot enough to heat up her mouth but not enough to seriously harm her. This would surely get her to loose concentration. Dadrik's body flickered and he took advantage of this moment. His body appeared infront of her, sliding a couple feet till he stopped infront of her, grabbing onto the base of her antlers, his flames were still on his arms but for some reason were not on his hands that grasped her antlers. He then felt the cold chill of her aura..or maybe soul.. Not quite sure, but it was enough to make him notice it, not enough to scare him away, for his..was much the same, his aura dark...evil. " We need to stop this..." he told her, of course he could of just vanished, but somehow, he didn't see her stop looking for him until he was dead..which she wouldn't be able to do. he didn't want a fruitless battle coming at him in the future or constantly. At first as he held her antlers, he struggled a bit. His body jerked a little bit, but his feet stayed on the ground, sliding from side to side. He clenched his teeth trying to hold her back. He was pushed back a couple feet. "Fine, you want a fight!" He shouted slightly. " Ten, percent." He said. In that moment a flurry of energy shot from his body and pushed outward, throwing all the snow around him away in all directions. The ground was now visible as the dead grass and dirt that it was. His eye's stayed black but now the pupil a sapphire blue. His k-9's also gained a sapphire blue glyph of a weird language, just one symbol on each tooth. His aura though, drastically changed. It wasn't white any longer, it was black, deadly....almost as if it was evil itself. Something he knew she wouldn't be tossed back by. It was most likely similar to her own fathers in a way. Dadrik's body tensed and his feet stopped moving, his arms seemed to turn into stone, her jerking ceased. He didn't budge any longer and she couldn't move him. " Well..its been a very long time sense I was forced to actually change..." He said as he jerked her head to one side then rapidly to the other side pulling at the same time and taking her down to the ground. " CHANGE BACK!" He shouted as flame came from his back, taking the form of black angel wings at first then spreading around him, flaring out in a half circle around them, the heat rising. He let go of her antlers, tossing his arm to the side for a moment, causing a black flame to sprout from his hand and form into a black sword. " Or shall we continue this?" he said flaring his teeth... " I have no quarrel against you girl. Nor do I want to fight you." He told the girl..The flame though still around him and her in a half circle like figure. If she were to lash out at him, he'd be ready to jump back...but that's only what he was expecting.

Alister

Alister's mind slowly came back from the dark, first it was the impending cold that overwhelmed the area. His consciousness came back for a moment because of it. The cold got to him but he still couldn't move. Then, a dark flame surrounded them, but the odd thing was, it didn't get hot, just warm...But..where did it come from. He didn't really have the time to ponder it any longer for his consciousness fell back into darkness just as Nika poked him with her toe. From this point he didn't even realize he was being dragged underground wrapped into his own chain.

Once again the darkness faded from his mind and his eyes opened. And yet again, he couldn't move..but this time it wasn't because he couldn't move his body was tied up, He looked down and spotted what it was, his own chain." W-what the hell." He said looking around, only to see the girl from before. " What...." he looked around more and they were in a different place than before. " how did we get her..." Looking around frantically, he then thought of the man from earlier. " Where is that man? And Cha'risa? What happened." He said, but then looked down to the chain. It most likely be best to make this go away. The chain started to get hot, turning red hot orange, then out of no where it started to seem like it was incinerating away. The chains continued to do this till the sword did it as well and the weapon and chain was gone. Slowly he stood up, brushed himself off a bit, then grabbed the back of his neck and popped it.

Nika

Nika sat up when the boy made a sound and pulled her knees up to her chest while embracing them with her arms. She stared at him with her pale blue eyes wonderingly as his chain evaporated in a dark red light. It wasnt liek anything she had ever seen, and it was a lot like the black fire that eater made earlyer. She crawled over to him on her hands and knees until her face was only about a foot away from his, the cloak she wore fell over her body covering everything but her feet and her face. She looked directly into his eyes, as if searching for something. "How did you do that?" She asked him while she was staring. She couldnt tell why, but his aura was intriguing to her. It was strange, like the man with the black fire, but it wasnt scary. Maybe it was something about him that she remembered, maybe he knew something she didnt. As she examined his face, her own could be seen more closely now as well. She wondered why he didnt have small crystals growing on the corners of his eyes the way she had. Was he that different? Or was she?
Nika crouched in the snow, waiting for him to answer her about his chain vanishing like that. And as she waited, it began to snow again. This wasnt abnormal, but it made Nika want to look up at the falling flakes of white. Her kind, curious stare followed each nearby flake for a moment before she was curious enough to reach out a gloved finger to catch one. When one of the tiny flakes landed on the tip of her finger, she brought it close to her nose so that she could see it clearer. It was amazing! They werent just flakes, they were much more complex than that, in such a way she coudlnt explain it. She wanted to touch it with her other finger, but once she pressed down on the tiny flake it disappeared, like the boys chain did. She looked back at him with a slight squint, as if she was silently prodding him to answer her now. If he had made her flake disappear, she wanted to know about it.

Painful memories I cannot escape
No matter how hard I try
They come to me in late night dreams
Thru the day their on my mind

Its like a haunting of times gone by
Revived to live again
Showing themselves when I'm just to the point
My heart is starting to mend

I try not to dwell on the painful things
That changed my life forever
A daunting task I've found this is
Without forgetting the past all together
