Actually I joined this guild for writing but I decided to make my first post here align with me current love, Photography. So, here we go.

4th of July this year (2010) mom making stars with a sparkler. I love time lapse photography and this is one of the bet results I have gotten with one shot.

This is better when you view it in larger sizes, so feel free to click it and look at the "all sizes" option under the "actions" menu on Flickr. I need to go back and crop it down so there is less black though to be honest. Again time lapse, this time someone playing with a light sword at a festival in North Bend, Wa.

Fireworks WOO! At the same festival as the previous picture.

I love these photos! I cannot wait until my new camera arrives so that I can do time lapse photography. Very nice job and keep shooting that camera.

I hate bees.. ;w; I was walking in the park today and I saw one. I nearly fell on my face tripping over fallen down tree to get away from one. Good thing I didn't, I had my camera with me.
ANYWAY, I loved the sparkler one. And your fireworks shots were fantastic. As for the cats, it's always good for practice 3nodding
Out of curiousity, did you edit them at all?

May I ask what camera you used for the time lapse sparkler one? That one looks really amazing and I would love to own the camera that helped create it....

That's an amazing time lapse photograph! I freakin love it! How did you do it? I have a Nikon D80 and I'm playing around with it, entertaining my passion for photography. I want to become a professional photographer. I've had people tell me my work is good, but I'm hard on myself ...

Other then resizing none were retouched at all. xD

Also Gaia is a doosh for never telling me I had replies in here o Ao

And the time lapse stuff was done just by setting the shutter speed to about 10 seconds and the aperture(is that the right word?) to take in LESS light so the whole thing doesn't come out washed out to all hell. xD

you are amazing, dont let anyone tell you otherwise. totally understand the happy feelings catching a bee on a flower, not easy when you actually try to sit down and do it. love your pictures!!

I still feel very much like an amateur no matter how many compliments I get. xD

I need to take more pictures though, I haven't really been doing much with my camera in so many months.... mostly cuz the battery only lasts 2 hours now cuz it's old and have been frozen a few times in my car trunk. o no
