Okay, not a whole lot of storyline here... just a whole lot of action.
Warriors from every corner of the globe are trained for one purpose... but what happens when that one purpose is taken? The world is at peace. All of existance has finally developed co-symbiotic relationships. That's all well and good for everyone... everyone except those who were born to fight. Now all warriors have been gathered and exiled to a singular continent. It is surrounded by an impenetrable shield.
Curse 1: Existence is only defined by the warrior's mind. Imagine a bustling city, and so one is in existence around you. Imagine a world where the land floats and water is above and lava below, and so does it spring into existence so long as your mind is the stronger and more focused on the surroundings.
Curse 2: A warrior must give up an ability if he loses. This means that said warrior CANNOT use that ability any longer. The victorious warrior does not forfeit any ability unless the received ability would put the number of abilities above the current max. Each player begins with 5 abilities. The max ability count is currently: 7
Curse 3: There is no escape for anyone or anything.

A vast valley, spreading out as far as the eye could see, wind playing with the thousands, upon thousands of blades of grass that covered almost every inch of land. Flowers of every single color sprinkled in amongst the plants like gentle little blankets of color. Angel laid on the cool grass in the shade provided by an old willow. It's branches swaying slowly in the light breeze. The breeze also playing with the ends of her hair slightly, twirling it and pushing it slowly back and forth across her skin. She blinked her eyes a couple times, the deep blue matching the depths of any ocean. As blue as the rarest sapphires that one would pay a fortune for if ever found. They moved slowly across the terrain before her, taking in all of the beauty of this particular afternoon. Despite the shield that surrounding the continent, it was hard to keep out this kind of beauty and shield it away from what nature did best, paint scenery for eyes to take in and enjoy. Her weapons were safely sheathed and rested at her side, just out of sight, but close enough to be snagged upon the slightest sound of danger.
Angel watched the valley quietly as her mind was busy as the bees moving from flower to flower. She'd been on this continent for about a month now. Had learned what dangers lived here and where the safest spots on the continent were. She'd learned quickly that there was really no one she could truly trust. They were either out for their own benefit or would stab her in the back due to what she was, Demon. She was born into the demon world but fought against it all she was, but as they say, it's hard to deny what you are. She'd fought against every standard for demons all her life and had succeeded in showing a different side to the demon world, but she was only one demon, she couldn't touch and reach out to everyone to show them that a demon could be different and actually have a heart and feelings.
Closing her eyes, she reflected back upon her past. She'd grown up fighting and learned how to keep up with the big fighters throughout her life, learning tips and tricks of the trade as she grew. She re-opened her eyes and sighed softly, going back to enjoy the pure beauty of the valley she'd found.

Mark yawned and looked across the expanse of ocean that separated him and the rest of the island's inhabitants from the world. There might as well be no other continent. Mark had come here as a test from the ArchAngels. He would see that he surpassed their expectations. He avoided the fighting as much as possible, though that was difficult when you had built your own house and kept a fire going constantly for food. People came trying to steal his food, house, skills, and just to try to beat him into submission. Mark always tried reason first but all too often reason didn't prevail.
He checked the three fish that were on his spit at the moment. The center fish had finished cooking and the other two needed turned. He pulled two of the fish off, throwing one on a clay plate he'd finished a week ago. He put the other back on the spit the opposite direction it had been and turned the other around as well so that the sides that had been facing each other were now facing away. He took the fish and plate inside his small hut and put a couple of flat breads on the plate along with some strange-looking vegitation. He had long since learned which plants were edible and which weren't on this forsaken island.
He went back outside and sat with the fire, watching the ocean some more as he ate. Weather here was always peaceful. He never had trouble with storms of any kind. He had been very lucky in that regard. He ate happily and hoped this peacefulness would last awhile longer.

Angel yawned softly and sighed, she knew she had to get moving to somewhere safe for the night. If one thought that evil creatures lurked during the daytime, they obviously hadn't been out during nightfall. She picked up her bow and put it over her shoulder and retied her sheathed knife at her hip. She slowly started to walk out of the shade of the willow and off towards the far reaches of the island. She sighed as she walked. It was beautiful, quiet and seemed as if no one else was here. Given, she hadn't searched all of the corners of the vast island, but she had the feeling there was very few who had ventured this far off the main land.
Most tended to stay near the city and within all of the madness surrounding. It wasn't a place for Angel, too many untrustworthy individuals. She'd found out the hard way that most people couldn't and shouldn't be trusted. As she walked her mind stayed busy, mulling through her daily thoughts. Her sapphire eyes taking in the sights.
She stopped and stood stark still. She sniffed the air and could smell fish. 'Fish? What the hell.... what is clever enough to cook out here?' She thought. She silently slipped out an arrow from her quiver and knocked it upon her bow, bringing to protectively to her side and stepped slowly towards the source of the smell. She was careful and cautious with her steps, not wanting to break anything below her feet as she stepped and cause whatever she was sneaking up on to be tipped off could become dangerous.

Mark sensed someone approaching but did nothing to show that he was aware. He listened cautiously as he set down the one piece of fish and pulled the other two from spit before they burned. In a few days he'd finish glazing and do the final firing for his stew pot. That would be a fantastic day for him. He smiled at the thought of a hot stew in his belly then turned back to his fish.
They were not bad. Needed some seasoning, but he could live without. Even unseasoned, warm food was better than living off of berries and grasses only. He had used a plate for a wildberry pie he'd made. There were only two pieces left and he needed to get it eaten before nightfall. For that reason, he wrapped the two cooked pieces of fish in a few larger leaves and set them aside for tomorrow's morning meal. He then went back to finishing his first piece of fish, ever wary of the approaching intruder.

Kassie continued to walk stealthily towards the smell of the cooked fish. As she neared she could smell more scents. She was a bit surprised by what she was smelling. Whoever was out this far definitely had figured out how to survive by good cooking. That canceled out a couple things from her mind's list of possible beings.
'Knowing my luck probably a damn demon.' She thought and sighed softly. She kept the arrow she'd knocked on the bow in place, and her bow was kept at her side. She took a step out of the brush and onto the dirt. A few rocks moved beneath her and she kept her balance, somehow, planting her feet and re-located her sight upon the source of the smell. She blinked at the sight before her, or what she could see.
The ocean expanded out as far as the eye could see, she smiled a little at it sparkling in the sunlight. Her eyes moved from the ocean back to what seemed like a little campsite. She cocked her head slightly, taking slow steps towards the site. She was cautious and on guard, unsure of what in the world could be awaiting her here. Her eyes caught onto a small hut like thing that had been constructed and she lifted an eyebrow, 'Impressive.' She thought.
