Hi~ I'm new heart

My interest in Japanese started when I was in about year 10 in which I would use a textbook my teacher gave me to study a little japanese when I felt like it. In year 11, I decided take Japanese as a subject but since it wasnt offered at my school I decided to do it by correspondence. Now a lot of people say that correspondence is difficult but I found the course really easy and by March of my yr 12, I had finished the course xD And of course I was just being lazy for the next few months 3nodding

And for my HSC result.. *ta-da* 97 xD

But this was only Japanese Beginners so it doesnt really say much xD

I just finished my first year of uni and at the same time my first year of uni Japanese =o But looking where I am, I still have a long way to go rofl

Truthfully, at first I was more interested in the culture, but now I'm more interested in the linguistics of it xd

About me =o
-I like tea (herbal) =]
-I love red pandas heart heart
-I hate being patronised
- and I hope I can get to know everyone better !

You are -very- welcome to our guild! I regret to say, though, that not many people are farther than you... I, for one, have no idea what uni is. >.<;

It is hoped, lol. XD But, of course, it depends on each individual! You have to -want- to learn! smile I just don't have that much initiative, but I am picking up tidbits along the way. whee

こななちわ、みんなさん!僕は浦飯経妄荷です。15歳です。
That's just about all I know with my lack of volcabulary. I've been studying Japanese for about 3 months seriously, but 1 year from when I first started. I wanted to learn When I was first exposed to learning languages, starting with Latin, and finding more about languages. I also wanted to see my favourite anime and read manga in it's original language.

I use Toukyou ben most of the time, but I love Oosaka ben (especially the way Kero chan says hello and see ya).

Hajimemashite! Uchi no namea wa Lockea desu. Uchi wa nanajuusai desu.

Hey guys! I'm Lockea and I've been speaking Japanese for about seven months now. I'm in my third quarter (103) of Japanese at the local college near where I live. I know all the Hiragana and Katakana as well as some kanji (days of the week, numbers, Japan, etc.) as well as a couple different and advanced sentence structures. So, now my Japanese is on par with that of a third grader xd . I want to practice conversational Japanese online, because I always feel inadequate against my peers, who are not only older but more skilled. Even though I go to college, I'm only seventeen (as I stated above).

About me: I love to read books and manga. I took up Japanese so that I could study Japanese architecture and engineering one day (I'm an engineering major working on my associate's). I've never actually gone to Japan. During my spare time I hunt down and read things written in Japanese then translae it, which is a habit that drives the rest of my all female family batty.

Anyway, I'm most interested in teaching beginners and learning from my senpai.

Doozo yorishiku gozaimasu! (I hope that's correct sweatdrop )

Welcome Lockea! <3 It is always nice to see new faces in here, as things seem to be going downhill, at least when it comes to activity. >.<;

Hi! I'm new to the guild, and Gaia in general. Well, I've had a month or two on gaia, so I'm getting there. Lol!

in any case, I wanted to join this guild because I'm going to Japan soon on a work trip. (Yep.. work.. still, half the airfare is being paid for me, and I've wanted to go for years! Can I say no to that??)

I live in a place where finding Japanese classes is ridiculously hard! There just aren't any! I've loved anime for the last four years now *counts* Four is about right.. I think. ^_^;; And I started with Dragonball Z! (One of the only anime around) - UK people, do you think anime is far too rare in England/Wales!? I quickly increased my anime to include Gundam Wing. And now my collection is surprisingly large! Thanks, largely to ebay!!

My boss noticed me talking to a group of Japanese people who came into the Forest Park where I work, and he couldn't help but notice that I wasn't talking English! So, now a trip to Japan has come up, he asked me! I gotta call that lucky!

Unfortunately, my Japanese understanding isn't enough to get me through all every day situations.. so, I'm hoping to pick something more up!

I got interested in anime first, and that was around when I was 10. I watched Inuyasha. Lol, what a good show for a little one to watch! XD Then as I grew up I learned how to get on the computer. I saw neat pictures when I was surfing. I also got a lot of friends who are as much osesive over anime as I was/am. Then I got a part time babysitting job, and baught lots of manga's, and more or less barrowed tons from other friends. As I watched and read the anime I decided to look up the japanese culture. It soon became a regular thing for me research the japans old customs. ^-^

The bad thing though is that my school does not have japanese classes any more -.- It really stunk because they took it out in my freshmen year of high school x.x.
