Chrono Trigger music is so amazing *addict* I listen to it everyday.

Tough one to answer...its one of the soundtracks on the 'ol ipod that I don't pick and choose from; I just leave the whole thing on there. I don't think I can pick a top favorite, but I can list a few:

- Magus's battle theme: malevolent, epic, and evil. This will always be a major favorite out of video game music in general.

- Opening Theme: This one always pulls me in, and has from the start when I first turned on my SNES with the cart inside. It'll always make me think of the first time I ever played the game.

- Memory of Green: - The theme when you leave your home town and wander around the Present world map. I used to just leave the characters standing there and listen to this, back before I could download music or have access to the soundtrack.

- Scene of Wind: The year 600. Another favorite that I would just sit and listen to, and perhaps one of my favorite wold map themes in general.

- Mystery in the Sea of Trees: First heard in Guardia Forest. Just a good calming forest tune, and terribly nostalgic.

- Temple of Light: First heard in the church when you're looking for the queen. Still makes me sad, hearing it. Another one that reminds me of childhood.

- Kingdom of Zeal: I dunno who would actually dislike this song. Perhaps it doesn't stand out to someone, but dislike? It's a hard song to dislike. Classic, soothing, mysterious, and oh so very nostalgic. I'll forever remember that feeling of "what the heck is going on here?"

- 'Till the End of Time: The ending theme. I'm not ashamed to say that this one makes me tear up. I suppose it's not good to have such fond memories of a video game...I guess life should have more fond memories. Then again, games have been a big part of my life, and Chrono Trigger was certainly one of the biggest. This song always makes me think of saying good bye to my little spirte based game friends. First ending I ever got was with Chrono and Marle flying away on the balloons, and I always think of that when listening to this.

Now, of course, these are just absolute top favorites. I could listen to the whole soundtrack without much skipping.

Oh man, I don't think I can choose between my top 3.

Chrono Trigger: the song that plays during the opening video/scene.

Epilogue ~To Good Friends~: the music that plays in the ending "Beyond Time" while the team splits up and the ending "Reunion" while the team is in the town square.

To Far Away Times: the song that plays in the endings "Beyond Time", "Reunion", and others while the credits are rolling.

OH MAN, DON'T ASK ME THIS!! gonk
Secret of the Forest (especially the piano solo towards the end; I have that part as a ringtone. (: )
Chrono Trigger, main theme
Kingdom of Zeal
Ocean Palace heart
Variation of Chrono Trigger theme when Epoch gets ready to crash into Lavos
To Far Away Times
That funky Jurassic Jungle Boogie that you always dance to.
Magus' theme
Forgotten Door (Hidden doors in the future theme, I also like to call it Belthasar's theme).

I love it all to be honest. If I kept going, I'd probably end up listing the whole score. This is the first video game to have such music that invokes a lot of feelings when I listen to it, and I think that's a huge part of the nostalgia factor, but it still rings true today...

AHHHH!
I love them all!!!
Um...
hmm..

Chromantique is probably my favorite.

A tie between Ayla's Theme and Lucca's Theme.

Bottom of the Night is my absolute favorite, (the one that plays in the shrine to Magus inside the Manoria Cathedral) but is very closely followed by Frog's theme and Magus' theme.

Also the courthouse song. It's so weirdly adorable.
