Biography
Asuka was raised in the North Blue by her great great great grandfather, as all her other living father figures were spread across the globe spreading the legend of the Kanno family. It was in their blood to be good Blacksmiths and masons. Normally the family tradition would be given to the eldest son, but Asuka's mother died trying to give birth to her first brother, thus she being the eldest daughter took on the name.
When Asuka was fourteen, a customer of her Great great great grandfather came by with a sword and instead of offering beli, he presented them with a oddly shaped fruit. Her grandfather knew what it was and was very disturbed about it, but Asuka, not knowing better, ate the fruit. That day she gained her devil fruit powers and with the help of her grandfather, she mastered her skills in the kane kane fruit. Her dream ever since she took on the blacksmith business was to make a sword that would rival that of the greatest, she wants to make a sword that will become one of the 10 legendary swords.
Currently, she is traveling about the globe as she is searching for a place to reside and do her business, seeing as the town she came from already has her great great great grandfather.

The only requirement is that it stays attached to her and has the same mass as the rest of her body, so she can't make more metal than her own body mass. This means that if she does a light weight thin metal, she can have more of that than a thick heavy metal, but at the cost of quality.
